Asha Meribor
Don't Let This Blood Infection Take Asha
Lake City, FL • Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary, Inc
What starts as a tiny parasite in the bloodstream can quickly become a life threatening battle. Asha Meribor, our sweet 9 year old polydactyl cat at Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary, is fighting hemobartonella, also known as feline infectious anemia. This serious blood infection attacks red blood cells, leaving cats weak, anemic, and vulnerable without prompt veterinary treatment. Asha has already proven how resilient she is, but she can't win this fight alone. To recover, she needs specialized medication, ongoing veterinary monitoring, and supportive care to help her body rebuild its strength. As a sanctuary cat, Asha depends entirely on Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary to provide the medical care she needs, and those expenses are quickly adding up. We are committed to giving Asha every chance to heal, but we can't do it without help. Your donation will go directly toward the veterinary care and treatment she needs to overcome this infection and get back to the happy, comfortable life every cat deserves. Every gift, no matter the size, helps Asha move one step closer to a full recovery. Thank you for standing with us and giving this special girl the chance to heal. 7/30/26 Update: THANK YOU SO MUCH Thank you so much to everyone who reached out and supported Asha's care. Unfortunately, the campaign automatically closed after just 3 days before the goal could be reached for her bloodwork and possibly more treatment. I am so grateful for the kindness during this difficult time. Thank you for caring about her. It means a great deal to me.

Israel Iza
Don't Let Israel Iza Lose His Eye
Lake City, FL • Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary, Inc
Every blink puts Israel Iza's eye at risk. This sweet 9 year old polydactyl boy is facing a painful, vision threatening severe corneal ulcer. The injury became so serious that his vet had to temporarily suture his eyelids shut, a procedure called a tarsorrhaphy, to protect the damaged cornea from rupturing while it heals. But his fight isn't over. Israel Iza is scheduled to have the procedure repeated so his eye can continue healing safely. Without ongoing treatment, the fragile cornea could rupture, causing excruciating pain and potentially costing him his eye. Israel Iza has already survived more than most cats ever should. Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary rescued him alongside his mother, Azriyalla, and his surviving siblings after a heartbreaking tragedy. A purebred dog attacked the litter, killing one of the kittens. Determined to save the rest of the family, the rescue stepped in and brought them all to safety, giving them the second chance they desperately deserved. Now Israel Iza needs another miracle. His veterinary team is doing everything possible to preserve his eye, but specialized ophthalmology care and repeat procedures are costly. To give him the best chance of keeping his eye and living a comfortable, pain free life, he needs continued treatment and follow up care. Despite everything he has endured, Israel Iza remains the sweetest boy. He loves attention, enjoys the safety and comfort he's found at Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary, and deserves the opportunity to heal without pain. Please consider making a donation to help Furruspurr Cat Sanctuary cover the cost of Israel Iza's ongoing eye care. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps protect his vision and gives this resilient boy the chance to enjoy the happy, safe future he fought so hard to find. 7/30/26 Update: Sutures removed Israel has had his sutures removed and his eye is doing well. Thank you so much for your support. Although I didn't get what is owed to the vet, he can not go forward with any treatment or medication. I didn't realize I would be cut off in this short amount of time before getting the closest amount to the bill.
