Hope

Hope is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Marion, NC, who needs $750 for Mange, Tick, Worm, Dental, and Pain Management.

Marion, NC • Mercy Fund Animal Rescue, Inc.

Meet this sweet girl named Hope. She found herself in a hoarding home. When the owner died, Hope was one of many dogs left to perish. Mercy has all of the dogs in our care. Hope’s condition is rough, but you can see true hope in her soulful eyes. We’re doing all that we can to save and rehabilitate Hope. Our girl Hope had her first vet visit today for an initial examination and we need your help. Our vet Animal Hospital of Marion) saw Hope today on Memorial Day given the immediate need. The initial exam revealed that she has Sarcoptic and Demodex mange, Lyme’s disease, anaplasmosis, hook & whip worms, arthritis, and dental needs. Hope’s pain is being managed and she is being loved on and cared for in Mercy’s care network. Hope is a gentle and sweet soul who just needs a little love in her life right now to recover, feel safe, and healthy. She has persevered in dire circumstances and she deserves a shot at a little joy and comfort. Hope’s vet bill so far is ~ $500 with follow-up care needed. Mercy is 100% volunteer & we rely on donors for our work. Our fund raise target is $750 to help us give Hope the care she needs. Any amount is appreciated. We’re grateful for your support for this special girl!

Loki

Loki is a 5-year-old Pitbull in Marion, NC, who needs $2,000 for Surgery, Bloodwork, X-rays.

Marion, NC • Mercy Fund Animal Rescue, Inc.

Meet our sweet boy Loki. Loki is a Pitbull who was rescued by Mercy Fund Animal Rescue. This boy was set to be euthanized and Mercy rescued him in the last hour. Loki is one of Mercy’s “forever fosters” and will remain in Mercy’s care his whole life. However, Loki has two kind forever foster parents who give him a permanent loving home – and his foster dad even sits with him while he eats (and chicken is Loki’s favorite food!). His foster mama describes him as a sweet, complicated guy who is too smart for his own good! Because of the trauma and displacement Loki experienced, he developed severe anxiety issues which prevent him from being up for adopted. But, Mercy brought Loki into their forever fosters which gives him a chance a happy and thriving life. Last week, Loki had severe weakening of his legs and had an emergency vet visit which found tumors on his spleen. Loki had to have emergency surgery to remove his spleen to prevent it from rupturing which would have taken our sweet boy Loki’s life. We need your help! Mercy covers Loki’s medical expenses as one of our forever foster pups and Loki’s medical care through this is $2,000. Any amount is Loki is a special boy with a long life in front of him! He is cared for and brings his forever foster parents love and joy. These medical procedures avoided an organ rupture and taking Loki from us. He now has a shot at continuing on in his joyful life!
