Croustille

Croustille is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Montréal, QC, who needs $1,350 for Dentistry.

Montréal • Mission Mayday

Croustille comes to us from an indigenous community where he used to roam freely. Following a serious injury, he had to undergo major surgery, and he'll need another procedure on his teeth in the near future before he can live his life in peace. Croustille suffered a big injury to his leg, the origin of which we don't know. We took him in and unfortunately had to amputate his left front leg. The clinic in charge of Croustille was the Passionimo veterinary clinic in La Pointe. This surgery is not the only one he has to undergo, as his teeth will also have to be treated. Croustille has to have a canine and a fractured premolar extracted. Croustille is currently with his foster family, who are taking good care of him. He's extremely sociable, both with humans and other dogs. You can feel his need to be close to his family: he sleeps close to the other dog in the family almost all the time. Although originally an outdoor dog, he quickly adapted to the warmth of a loving home. Having already undergone a major amputation of his left front paw, Croustille is in urgent need of dental work. The cost of these surgeries is considerable, and we need to find resources as soon as possible to help Croustille.

Kenzo

Kenzo is a 1-year-old Domestic Cat in Montréal, QC, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization for 72 hours.

Montréal • Mission Mayday

He was entrusted to us because he need medical care at the hospital for 72 hours. He's at Centre vétérinaire Montréal since sunday evening. He's still alive! He's a perfect cat! He enjoy cuddles and ask for attention when we visit him at the vet clinic. He's a fighter, and he needs your support to continue his fight! Kenzo is alert, struggles when being handled and walks around. It's hard to euthanize a one-year-old cat who doesn't seem ready to give up... What if we started by eliminating what's "easy" to treat? He's been refusing to eat for a month and is hiding. He also had an episode of diarrhea, which resolved with the treatments put in place by the vet consulted by his family. Reading the medical record of his December 19 visit and seeing him alert at his exam today, nothing gave us any indication that Kenzo was at death's door. Nothing... What if we gave him a bit of time, with treatments, to see if he gets back on track? What if we gave him his only fighting chance? Will you come on board and give him a chance with us?
