Quinton, Potato Chip, Pretzel, Butch, PQ, Poptart, Peanut, and Pancake
Help us raise $750 to get these 8 kittens ready for their forever homes.
Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission
Quinton, Potato Chip, Pretzel, Butch, PQ, Poptart, Peanut, and Pancake are all around 4 months, and they’re getting ready for the next big step in their rescue journey — becoming officially ready for adoption! Before they can find their forever families, each kitten needs: Spay or neuter Combo testing Age-appropriate vaccines Routine veterinary care For all 8 kittens, the total cost will be approximately $750. Normally, we would be prepared for these routine expenses, but this month has been especially difficult. We’ve had to face several unexpected emergency vet bills, and those emergencies have taken a big bite out of the funds we rely on for routine care. Unfortunately, the kittens still need us. These eight babies deserve the chance to grow up healthy, safe, and ready to find loving families. We don’t want a shortage of funds to delay their adoptions or leave us unable to help the next cat who needs us. Can you help us raise $750 for Quinton, Potato Chip, Pretzel, Butch, PQ, Poptart, Peanut & Pancake? Every $5, $10, or $20 donation adds up, and every penny goes to the cats. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to stand behind Murdock’s Mission and help us keep saving lives. 8 kittens. 8 chances at forever. One very important fundraiser. Thank you for helping us get these babies where they belong.

Michelin
Help Michelin Get the Amputation That Will End His Pain
Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission
Michelin should be spending his kittenhood chasing toys, climbing cat trees, and discovering the world. Instead, he's spent most of his young life living with pain. When Michelin was just 6 weeks old, he suffered an injury that led to a severe abscess in his tiny elbow. Despite receiving treatment, the infection destroyed the joint, leaving his leg permanently damaged. There was simply no way to save it. The only option left is amputation. Until now, Michelin has been too small to safely undergo surgery. But at 4 months old, he has finally grown enough to take the next step toward the future he's been waiting for. Although life hasn't been easy, Michelin has never let his injury define him. He remains an incredibly sweet, resilient little kitten who deserves the chance to grow up without constant discomfort. Murdock's Mission is ready to give Michelin that chance. Your donation will help cover the cost of his amputation, surgery, pain management, and post-operative care so Michelin can finally leave his painful past behind and begin living the carefree life every kitten deserves. Every gift, no matter the size, brings Michelin one step closer to healing—and one giant leap closer to running, playing, and simply being a kitten. If you're unable to donate, sharing Michelin's story is another wonderful way to help him find the support he needs. Thank you for helping give this brave little boy the second chance he deserves. 8/13/26 Update: Michelin is Recovering After Surgery Michelin has made it through his amputation and neuter and is now recovering with his rescue team at Murdock's Mission. A video has been added to the campaign photo carousel showing Michelin during his recovery. While he still has healing ahead of him, seeing this sweet boy moving forward after everything he's endured is an encouraging step in his journey. Michelin's surgery and veterinary care gave him the chance to leave his painful past behind and begin healing. Thanks to everyone who has supported Michelin's journey so far! Although his surgery is now behind him, the cost of the veterinary care he needed remains, along with the expenses of his recovery. Continued donations are greatly appreciated and will help Murdock's Mission cover these costs as Michelin recovers. For Michelin, recovery is just the beginning. Continued support will help Murdock's Mission give him the care and comfort he needs as he moves toward a brighter future. Thank you for standing behind Michelin and helping give this sweet boy the chance to keep moving forward. ❤️

Queen
Queen Lost His Brother—Now He's Fighting for His Own Life
Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission
Queen has already endured more heartbreak than any kitten should. Just weeks after losing his brother to the same devastating illness, this tiny 3-month-old is now fighting for his own life. Despite everything, Queen refuses to give up. He still eats. He still drinks. He still greets each day with the determination only a kitten can have. But beneath that fighting spirit, something is terribly wrong. His little body isn't absorbing the nutrients it needs, causing him to slowly waste away despite everyone's best efforts to help him. Murdock's Mission has already invested more than $700 in emergency veterinary visits, diagnostic testing, medications, and supportive care to give Queen every possible chance. Now, his veterinarians need to dig deeper. Additional testing is the next critical step in determining what is causing Queen's illness—not only to help save his life, but also to provide answers after the heartbreaking loss of his brother. The rescue is committed to doing everything they can for Queen, but the costs continue to grow. Your donation will help cover the medical care Queen has already received and the diagnostic testing still needed to uncover the cause of his illness and guide his treatment. Queen has fought so hard to stay here. With your support, he can continue that fight. Every gift, no matter the size, helps give this brave little kitten the chance to recover and enjoy the healthy, happy life every kitten deserves. If you're unable to donate, sharing Queen's story is another meaningful way to help him find the support he needs. Thank you for believing in Queen.

Snippet
Snippet: A Little Cat Who Refuses to Give Up
Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission
Snippet has been proving people wrong since he was just eight weeks old. After being rescued from a local shelter by Murdock's Mission, it was discovered that Snippet was born with multiple congenital deformities that affect nearly every aspect of his daily life. Despite the challenges he's faced, Snippet has grown into an affectionate, spirited four-year-old cat with an incredibly loud personality and so much love to give. Every birthday Snippet celebrates is a reminder of just how resilient he is. But recently, his family faced another frightening setback. One morning, Snippet was found unresponsive and severely dehydrated. He was rushed to the emergency hospital, where he was immediately placed on intravenous fluids while veterinarians began running diagnostics to determine what caused his sudden decline. Because of his complex medical history, every new health concern requires careful evaluation and specialized care. This fundraiser will help cover Snippet's emergency hospitalization, diagnostics, IV therapy, medications, and any additional treatment needed to get him feeling better again. Snippet has overcome incredible obstacles throughout his life. With your support, Murdock's Mission can continue giving this remarkable cat every opportunity to celebrate many more birthdays to come. Thank you for helping Snippet continue to beat the odds. 7/13/26 Update: Loved Through to the Very End It is with heavy hearts that we share that Snippet has passed away. Despite every effort by his veterinary team and the dedicated caregivers at Murdock's Mission, Snippet's body could no longer overcome the many medical challenges he had faced throughout his life. From the moment he was rescued as an eight-week-old kitten, Snippet defied the odds. He lived four years surrounded by love, proving every day that his congenital conditions would never define his incredible spirit. Thank you to everyone who kept Snippet in your thoughts and supported his care. Your kindness helped ensure he received every opportunity to fight, and he was deeply loved until the very end.

Opal
Help Tiny Opal Keep Fighting
Fort Worth, TX • Murdock’s Mission
At just eight weeks old, Opal has already faced more than most cats will in a lifetime. She and her siblings were found while Murdock's Mission was trapping stray adult cats. Sadly, despite the rescue's best efforts, Opal's brother, Odie, passed away the day after they were rescued. The loss of Odie only strengthened the rescue's determination to save the rest of the litter. Now, Opal is facing another heartbreaking challenge. Late one night, this tiny kitten—who weighs only a pound and a half—suffered a rectal prolapse, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition requiring immediate veterinary care. She was rushed to the hospital, where veterinarians were able to replace the prolapse and place a small stitch in hopes of allowing her body to heal without surgery. She will remain hospitalized for several days while her medical team carefully monitors her recovery. At such a young age, every hour of care matters. This fundraiser will help cover Opal's emergency hospitalization, medications, diagnostics, continued monitoring, and any additional treatment or surgery she may need if her condition doesn't improve as hoped. Despite everything she's endured, Opal continues to fight. Your donation gives this tiny kitten the opportunity to heal, grow stronger, and experience the safe, loving life every kitten deserves. Thank you for helping Murdock's Mission give Opal the fighting chance she deserves. 7/23/26 Update: Opal is still in the hospital Thank you for your support for Opal. She is still holding on and has been hospitalized for a little over two weeks! She is still too small for the surgery she needs, so we can only hope that the care and support she is receiving carries her through.
