Sassy
Everything She Knew Went Up in Flames—Help Sassy Find Hope Again
Lake City, FL • Ranch Rescue
Sassy's world changed in an instant. This sweet 7-year-old cat survived a devastating house fire that destroyed her home, while her beloved owner suffered a broken hip and, with no other choice, made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her cherished companion. Thanks to the quick response of Columbia County Animal Enforcement, Sassy was brought to The Ranch Rescue, where she is finally safe and receiving the care she desperately needs. Despite everything she has endured, Sassy remains incredibly affectionate and trusting, quickly winning the hearts of everyone she meets. She is scheduled for a full veterinary evaluation and will need diagnostics, medications, treatment for her injuries, and surgery, including being spayed, before she can begin searching for a new forever home. The Ranch Rescue is asking for your help to cover the cost of Sassy's medical care so she can heal and get the second chance she deserves. Every tax-deductible donation, no matter the amount, brings Sassy one step closer to recovery and a loving future. If you're unable to donate, sharing her story can help her find the support she needs. Together, we can show Sassy that although she lost everything, she hasn't lost the chance for a brighter tomorrow.

Momma
Momma is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Lake City, FL, who needs $200 for spay and vaccines.
Lake City, FL • Ranch Rescue
When The Ranch Rescue received a call about a cat in need, we never expected to find such a heartbreaking sight. Momma Cat had been left to fend for herself, pregnant and alone, hiding in the bushes. By the time we arrived, she had given birth, and her tiny newborns were huddled together in the dirt, trying to stay warm and safe. Despite the rough start, Momma’s love for her babies shines through. She is incredibly affectionate, soaking up every bit of human attention while still tending to her little ones with devotion. We believe she was dumped while pregnant—because no cat this loving should ever have been left behind. Momma has already been dewormed and treated for fleas, but she still needs full veterinary care. Her babies will also need exams, vaccines, and all the vetting required before they can be adopted into safe, loving homes. With our recent relocation to Lake City, we are stretched thin on resources—and this family desperately needs our help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward providing Momma and her kittens with the medical care they need to thrive. Together, we can give them a second chance at life, health, and happiness.
