6-Month Old Puppy Needs Your Help

Santa Paula, CA • Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center,

Meet Louie. He's just six months old and has nine pittie puppy siblings who are facing an uncertain future. Their owner, overwhelmed by a financial crisis and forced to sell their home, reached out to Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center for help—not to give them up, but to do the right thing before it’s too late. The odds are already stacked against this sweet little guy, being a pittie, especially as he continues to grow older. But on top of that, Louie is suffering from cherry eye. This is a condition where the tear gland in the third eyelid protrudes from its normal position, often appearing as a red, swollen mass in the inner corner of the eye. He will require surgery to fix this. The family and rescue are afraid that him and his siblings won't get adopted quickly, especially with adoption rates being slower than normal; however, they want to give him the best chance possible at a healthy life and finding his forever home by getting him the care he needs and deserves. Louie didn't ask to be here or to have this condition, but the best thing we can do is help him now. You can be the reason he gets the care and love he needs. Please donate today to help cover the cost of Louie's surgery to fix his cherry eye condition. Every dollar helps give him the chance at a better future.

9 Pittie Puppie

Nine Innocent Lives. One Critical Mission.

Santa Paula, CA • Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center,

At just six months old, nine pittie puppies are facing an uncertain future. Their owner, overwhelmed by a financial crisis and forced to sell their home, reached out to Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center for help—not to give them up, but to do the right thing before it’s too late. With shelters overflowing and thousands of dogs being euthanized across California, the odds are stacked against pitties, especially as they grow older. There's a possibility these pups may not get adopted quickly—or at all—but we can stop the cycle now. Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center stepped in to help, offering a clinic they use to help with spay/neutering of all nine puppies that will also provide vaccinations and microchips at a discounted rate. The only thing standing in the way now is funding. For nine puppies, it's not a small cost. We don’t want these puppies to end up in already overwhelmed shelters or bring more unwanted litters into a system that’s bursting at the seams. You can be the reason they get the care they need. You can be the reason this cycle ends here. Please donate today to help cover the cost of their surgeries. Every dollar helps give them a better chance at find their forever homes.
