14 Cats Spay/Neuter
Help Us Stop the Cycle: 14 Rescued Cats Need Spay & Neuter Care
Lauderhill, FL • Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation, Inc.
For every kitten born outside, the odds are stacked against them from the very beginning. Hunger, disease, injury, harsh weather, predators, and overcrowded shelters become part of daily survival. Right now, we have rescued 14 cats from the streets who desperately need spay and neuter surgeries before they are forced back into that dangerous cycle. These cats have already suffered enough. Many came to us underweight, sick, injured, or exhausted from trying to survive outdoors. Some were already pregnant. Others were fighting infections, wounds from territorial battles, or illnesses spread through unaltered colonies. Without intervention, the cycle would continue — more kittens born into suffering, more cats struggling to survive, and more overcrowded shelters pushed beyond capacity. Spaying and neutering is one of the most important and lifesaving things we can do for homeless animals. It not only prevents unwanted litters, but also dramatically reduces the risk of serious health problems and injuries. Spayed females are protected from deadly uterine infections and certain cancers. Neutered males are less likely to roam, fight, or suffer severe wounds and infections from territorial behavior. Altered cats also help reduce the spread of disease within outdoor colonies and create healthier, safer communities for both animals and people. Most importantly, spay and neuter saves lives by preventing overcrowding in shelters and rescues already struggling to keep up. Every year, countless healthy and treatable animals lose their lives simply because there are not enough homes, space, or resources available — a heartbreaking reality known as economic euthanasia. Preventing litters before they are born is one of the only ways we can truly reduce this crisis long-term. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the surgeries, vaccines, pain medication, and recovery care for all 14 cats. Every donation, no matter the amount, directly helps stop suffering before it starts and gives these cats a chance at healthier, safer lives. By supporting this fundraiser, you are not just helping 14 cats. You are helping prevent generations of suffering. Please donate today and help us give these cats — and countless future kittens — the future they deserve. 5/27/26 Update Thanks to your incredible support, all 14 cats in this campaign have now received the spay and neuter surgeries and medical care they desperately needed. Because of your kindness, these cats are no longer trapped in the dangerous cycle of homelessness, suffering, and endless litters born into hardship. Many of these cats came to us sick, injured, frightened, and exhausted from life on the streets. Some were battling infections, healing from wounds, or already pregnant when they were rescued. Today, because people like you chose to care, they are safer, healthier, and finally being given a chance at a better future. This is what real change looks like: fewer kittens born into danger, fewer cats struggling to survive outdoors, and more animals given the opportunity to live safe, healthy lives. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with these cats and making this lifesaving work possible. Every single donation, share, and message of support mattered more than you know. Together, we changed the future for these 14 cats — and for countless others yet to come.

Trapping equipment needed
Help Pumpkin’s Rescue Club Reach the Cats No One Else Can
Coconut Creek, FL • Pumpkin’s Rescue Club
Some of the cats we are called to help are easy to see— the tiny kittens crying under porches, the friendly abandoned house cats left behind to fend for themselves, the injured strays limping through parking lots. But so many others stay just out of reach. Terrified feral mothers continue having litter after litter in unsafe colonies. Sick cats disappear into bushes before treatment can be given. Injured community cats suffer silently because there is no way to safely get them into care. And for rescuers, one heartbreaking truth remains: we cannot help the cats we cannot catch. At Pumpkin’s Rescue Club, humane trapping is where every rescue story begins. Before there can be full bellies, soft beds, antibiotics, surgeries, vaccines, foster homes, or adoptions… there has to be a safe way to bring these vulnerable cats out of danger and into loving hands. Right now, we urgently need to purchase: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\- 3 humane cat traps - 1 transfer cage for safe movement and transport These are not just pieces of equipment. They are lifelines. A trap is what allows us to rescue the starving kitten who won’t come close enough to touch. A trap is what allows us to catch the pregnant mom before she gives birth to yet another litter outdoors. A trap is what allows us to bring in the cat suffering from wounds, infection, or respiratory illness before it’s too late. And a transfer cage allows frightened feral cats to be moved safely from trap to vehicle, to veterinary clinic, to surgery, and then into recovery—without causing further trauma or risking injury. Without enough trapping equipment, devastating choices have to be made: which urgent call gets answered first, which colony has to wait, which cat remains outside another night because every trap is already in use. Those delays can mean more kittens born into suffering. More injuries left untreated. More cats simply disappearing before help arrives. This is the invisible side of rescue that few people see: sometimes the difference between life and death is something as simple as having an open trap available when the phone rings. Pumpkin’s Rescue Club is working tirelessly to reduce suffering through TNVR, rescue abandoned and injured cats, and expand our ability to say “yes” when help is needed. But we cannot do that empty-handed. These supplies will not help just one cat. They will help every cat who comes after: every frightened feral mom, every injured stray, every sick colony cat, every kitten born outside with no one else looking for them. Please help us put more lifesaving tools in the field so more cats can finally be brought to safety. Your donation today becomes the beginning of rescue for countless cats still waiting in the shadows.

Spay and Neuter
Breaking the Cycle: 32 Cats Spayed in One Day—Help Us Keep Going
Huntington, WV • One by One Animal Advocates
This month, we completed one of our regular cat clinics and were able to spay and neuter 32 cats in a single day. Thirty-two lives changed. Thirty-two futures rewritten. And countless unwanted litters prevented before they could begin. At every clinic, each cat doesn’t just receive surgery—they receive rabies vaccines, flea treatment, and basic care like ear cleaning, often for the first time in their lives. Many of these cats are community or feral cats who would otherwise never see a vet. Others are owned pets whose families simply can’t afford care right now. And this is just one day. We host at least one large-scale cat clinic every month, in addition to smaller clinics throughout the week. Last year alone, we spayed and neutered over 500 dogs and cats—and we’re already well on track to meet (and exceed) that number again this year. Because here’s the truth: We cannot adopt our way out of the pet overpopulation crisis. For every litter born, shelters and rescues are pushed further beyond capacity. Kittens grow into adults who continue the cycle. And the result is heartbreaking—animals suffering on the streets, overcrowded shelters, and not enough homes. Spay and neuter is the most effective, humane solution we have. That’s why we are committed to offering these services completely free of charge whenever possible—removing barriers so that no animal is left behind simply because of cost. But we can’t do this without you. Every clinic requires surgical supplies, vaccines, medications, and staffing. Every single cat represents a cost—but also an incredible impact. When you donate, you’re not just helping one animal. You’re preventing hundreds—sometimes thousands—of future births. You’re stopping suffering before it starts. You’re creating lasting change. Help us continue these life-saving clinics and expand our reach. Together, we can break the cycle—for good. 5/21/26 Update Because of your support, another successful clinic is complete — and this one changed the lives of 32 cats in a single day. Thirty-two cats were safely spayed and neutered, preventing countless future litters and breaking the cycle of suffering before it could continue. But these clinics are about so much more than surgery alone. Every cat who came through our doors also received important medical care including rabies vaccines, flea treatment, ear cleaning, and compassionate handling that many had likely never experienced before. Some of these cats were community cats who may never have otherwise seen a veterinarian in their entire lives. Others belonged to loving families who simply could not afford care on their own. Thanks to your generosity, cost was not a barrier, and these animals received the help they needed. This clinic is just one example of the work your donations make possible. We continue to host large-scale cat clinics every month, along with smaller clinics throughout the week, because the need has never been greater. Every spay and neuter surgery prevents future suffering, reduces overcrowding in shelters, and gives animals a better chance at healthier, safer lives. The impact of prevention work is enormous, even if it is not always as visible as emergency rescue stories. The truth is that every litter prevented means fewer kittens struggling on the streets, fewer overcrowded rescues, and fewer animals facing neglect, illness, or euthanasia simply because there are not enough homes. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this clinic. Because of you, 32 cats now have a better future — and countless more lives will never have to suffer at all. Thank you for helping us create lasting change, one clinic at a time.

60 cats and kittens
Help 60 Cats Get the Care They Need to Start Fresh
Boiling Springs, SC • South Carolina Community Cat Project
Right now, we have 60 kittens and their moms in our care—and every single one of them needs to be spayed or neutered before they can safely move on to loving homes. These cats didn’t come from easy beginnings. Many were rescued straight from the streets, while others were pulled from our overwhelmed local municipal shelters—places where time and space are limited, and outcomes are uncertain. They are safe now, but they are not yet ready for adoption. That’s where you come in. Spay and neuter isn’t just a routine step—it’s one of the most critical parts of rescue. It: \\\\- Prevents painful and preventable diseases later in life - Reduces behaviors like roaming and fighting - Stops the cycle of unwanted litters and overpopulation - Without this care, the cycle continues. With it, everything changes. To fully vet these 60 cats—including spay/neuter surgeries and essential medical care—we are facing an average cost of $7,800. That’s a big number. But it represents something even bigger: 60 lives protected. 60 futures rewritten. Every dollar you give goes directly toward giving these kittens and moms the healthy start they deserve—and ensures they won’t contribute to the already overwhelming number of homeless cats. 💜 Your donation helps cover life-saving spay and neuter surgeries 💜 Your support prepares them for safe, loving homes 💜 Your share helps us reach someone who can make a difference We know it’s a lot to ask. But we also know what’s possible when a community comes together. These 60 cats are depending on us. And we’re depending on you. Help us break the cycle. 4/28/26 Update: New wishlist! We have added a wishlist to our campaign with much needed items. Thank you for your support! 5/13/26 Update We still have approx 55 kittens that need to be spayed and neutered! Adoption days are coming and it costs a lot to get these kiddos to get adoption days ready! 5/31/26 Update As we close out this campaign, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, shared, and supported these deserving cats and kittens. Because of your generosity, we are steadily working our way through the spay and neuter surgeries for all 60 cats in our care. Every completed surgery brings us one step closer to preparing these kittens and moms for the loving homes they deserve while helping prevent future litters and reducing the number of homeless cats in our community. The support we received through this campaign has made a tremendous difference. Spay and neuter surgeries are one of the largest expenses we face in rescue, and your donations have helped ease that burden while allowing us to continue providing the veterinary care these cats need before adoption. Many of these cats came to us from difficult circumstances—rescued from the streets or pulled from overcrowded shelters with uncertain futures. Today, thanks to supporters like you, they are safe, receiving care, and moving closer to bright futures with families of their own. We still have surgeries ahead of us, but this campaign has helped make that goal achievable. On behalf of every kitten, every mom cat, and every volunteer who cares for them, thank you for believing in this mission and helping us break the cycle of overpopulation one cat at a time. Your kindness is creating lasting change, and we are incredibly grateful.

Alley
Alley is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Saint Paul, MN, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Fix a Broken Femur.
Saint Paul, MN
Alley was discovered on 8/25/25 in the window well of a neighbor's. She was clearly injured and emaciated. Another neighbor came with a carrier and brought her to another neighbor's house where we began working to find the owners. Sadly, no one has come forward and no lost kitten posts for her. A friend who works in rescue helped out with information, a large dog crate, food and litter. Alley clearly had a dislocated hip, so we took her to be seen at Mission Animal Hospital. We learned that she also has a broken femur on her right leg along with the FHO (dislocated hip) on the left. She is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, September 4, 2025. She is alert and has probably gained at least half a pound or more. Luckily, no fleas, worms, or mites! Alley is named after our neighborhood group the "Alley Queens" (mostly retired single women living on a shared alley). She is an absolute love bug. Affectionate and sweet as all get out. She stole our hearts and we feel like she is a great candidate for surgery and for a good life! Folks have chipped in for food and supplies. We've raised almost $1000 from kind neighbors, but the surgery will cost $6000 on the high end. I put in $700 for the vet appt with X-rays. Mission will put us on a payment plan, but we are retired women on fixed incomes!

Spay/Neuter Kittie
10 Little Lives, One Big Need
North Havn, CT • The Purr Project, Inc.
Meet Ocho—a brilliantly cute, soft, and playful little boy with a unique “8” marking on his head that earned him his special name. He’s sweet, gentle, and full of love. Anyone would be lucky to have him. But Ocho isn’t alone—he’s one of 10 kittens in The Purr Project's care who all need to be spayed or neutered and have essential vaccinations before they can find their forever homes. These surgeries and vaccines are essential, not only for their health and safety but to prevent more unwanted litters and ensure they have the best start to life possible. Right now, the cost of vetting so many kittens at once is a heavy lift for The Purr Project rescue as they handle many cats at one time. They could desperately use your help. Will you donate today to help Ocho and his nine siblings get the care they need so they can go on to bring joy, love, and companionship to their future families? Thank you for your continued support. Update 10/31/25 Thanks to all the generosity, The Purr Project has been able to spay the three mommas, neuter two of the males, and spay a seven month old.😺

Raja and Rambo
Help Raja and Rambo, Two Young Kittens Found Alone in an Abandoned House, Get the Veterinary Care They Need
Lantana, FL • Cathys Cats Corporation
These sweet boys were discovered in an abandoned house, desperately trying to squeeze out of a window in search of safety. Their cries for help didn’t go unheard—Cathy’s Cats Corporation rushed to the scene and rescued them. Alongside Raja and Rambo was their mama, who was also safely trapped. While she came in for TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), the happiest surprise is that she turned out to be friendly too—meaning she’ll also have the chance at a loving home! Raja and Rambo are now safe, loved, and learning to trust people. But before they can be adopted, they need to be neutered, vetted, and cared for. That’s where we need your help. Cathy’s Cats Corporation is a small, volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to TNVR and lifesaving rescue. While TNVR keeps community cats safe and stops the cycle of kittens being born on the streets, when young kittens like Raja and Rambo are found, it takes extra resources to get them adoption-ready. Update 9/15/25 Raja and Rambo have been neutered and have received their vaccinations! These handsome boys handled their surgeries like champs and are already back to their sweet, playful selves.

15 kittens for spay and neuter
Our Shelter’s Full, Our Funds Are Low — These 15 Kittens Need Help With Vet Care
West Palm Beach, FL • Adopt A Cat Foundation
Adopt A Cat Foundation is a small but dedicated rescue that’s been working tirelessly through an especially overwhelming kitten season this year. The shelter has taken in more kittens than usual — filling every available foster home in their network to give these little ones a safe start. Recently, 15 kittens in their care were ready for their full vetting — all at once. In one week, the rescue covered the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, combo testing, and microchips for each of them. It was a major expense, but an essential step to make sure these kittens are healthy, adoptable, and most importantly, no longer able to contribute to the overpopulation crisis that floods shelters every year. Now, these 15 kittens are ready to find loving homes — responsibly vetted and off to a fresh start. But the shelter needs help recouping the cost of this large, unexpected vet day so they can continue saying “yes” to the next round of kittens who need them.

Cat Trap and Release
Help Us Save Lives. Support Our TNR & Spay/Neuter Program.
Ada, OK • Paws N Ada (Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society)
PAWS N Ada is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit on the front lines of feline welfare. As the contracted operator for our city’s pound, we provide a critical safety net for abandoned, stray, and feral cats. Right now, our shelter is overwhelmed—70+ orphaned kittens are in our care, and the number climbs daily. But we’re not just sheltering—we’re solving. 💡 Our Mission: TNR & Beyond Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program is making a real impact. We take in feral cats from the city, provide full veterinary care, and release them safely back onto our property. Over time, many of these once-wild cats warm up to humans and find forever homes—or become happy, healthy barn cats. We’ve expanded our efforts to offer low-cost—and now with your help, FREE—spay/neuter services to the public. This is a lifeline for underserved community members and a long-term solution to the overpopulation crisis. But there’s a problem… 🚨 We’re Sinking Our resources are stretched to the breaking point. And just as we were making headway, our local city council paused cat pickups by animal control, cutting off a major intake stream. That means fewer cats are being altered and released, reversing our progress. We are doing everything we can—but we can’t do it alone. In 2025, we’ve already provided 136 free spay/neuter services to those unable to afford it—many more are waiting. 🎯 Our Goal: 114 TNR Spots Funded With your support, we can cover the cost of 114 additional TNR procedures—giving these cats a shot at a healthier life while reducing future suffering through population control. Each TNR procedure costs approximately $35, covering anesthesia, surgery, rabies, & ear tipping. 🐱 Donate Today. Save Lives Tomorrow. Your donation directly funds spay/neuter surgeries, medical supplies, and the care of kittens and feral cats. Every dollar helps prevent hundreds of unwanted litters and eases the burden on our overtaxed shelter system. 🙏 We’re not just fighting for cats. We’re fighting for balance, compassion, and a community that values every life. Be a part of the solution. Donate to the Cat Trap & Release Fundraiser today.

Rescue Kitties of Hawai'i and Community Cats
Help Miss Spicy – The Senior Island Survivor with a Fiery Spirit
kaunakakai, HI • Rescue Kitties of Hawaii
Rescue Kitties of Hawaii works passionately on Moloka'i island every single day, rescuing cats and kittens in dire need of help and urgent medical care. Stray cats who are sick, injured, abused, poisoned, used as live bait in dog fighting, etc. rely on RKH as their only source of care, as there are absolutely no shelters on the island. Being on a small island with limited resources, the rescue's funds are continuously depleted, and the rescue cannot keep up with the overwhelming demand to save all the Hawaiian kitties. This is why their TNRM program- Trap, Neuter, Return and Manage, is vital to help manage the ongoing overpopulation on the island. This is the most humane way to control a stray cat population, letting cats that cannot adapt to indoor/ family life live their best life. Those that can adapt to indoor life, are adopted by loving families. As many of you know, RKH is dedicated to helping several stray kitties get the urgent medical that they need in order to have a fighting chance. Cats like Boris, Annie, and Miss Spicy. Miss Spicy was found as a senior stray on the island of Moloka’i. She was in critical condition- skin and bones, dehydrated, and unable to eat or drink due to severe mouth pain. Someone had left her on a doorstep in hopes she’d be found, and thankfully, she was brought to Rescue Kitties of Hawai’i just in time. She was suffering from painful mouth ulcers, chronic infection, and layers of grime from surviving alone without shelter or care. With gentle hands (and thick gloves—she lives up to her name!), the team at Rescue Kitties of Hawai’i began the long journey of nursing her back to health. Miss Spicy has received the help from a whole village of rescuers rallying behind her and has visited three different islands. Moloka'i where her journey began and where RKH is, Kona for specialized vet care, and Oahu to receive life saving dental surgery and recover. Rescue Kitties of Hawai'i is so thankful for each person that has played a role getting her to where she is today. Fierce and feisty, Miss Spicy has been fighting every step of the way, and slowly, we’re seeing her fight her way back. She’s now able to eat soft food with less pain, a small miracle that brings her closer to recovery with every bite. She’s been receiving daily pain relief, antibiotics, and other medications tailored to her fragile condition. Her regular medicated baths are also helping her regain a healthy coat. We know Miss Spicy has more life to live—and more sass to give. She will need continued medication, dental surgery, and ongoing care to fully heal and live out her golden years pain-free. Please consider donating today to help Miss Spicy, and other stray kitties like her, heal. Together, we can show them what love really feels like.

Help Give Hope to Inkjet and Rescue Kitties of Hawaii
kaunakakai, HI • Rescue Kitties of Hawaii

This is the most humane way to control a stray cat population, letting cats that cannot adapt to indoor/ family life live their best life. Those that can adapt to indoor life, are adopted by loving families. Inkjet, for example, is a special case Rescue Kitties of Hawaii have been pouring their hearts into helping recently. The only survivor of his litter, Inkjet, was rescued in critical condition, a tiny fighter who refused to give up. He is completely deaf, struggles with painful mouth ulcers and chronic infections, and remains small for his age. He has overcome so much, but now he faces his biggest battle yet. He has a heart murmur that is worsening, and he has started coughing—a terrifying sign that something is very wrong. The possibilities are grim: congestive heart failure, asthma, or a severe lung infection. Any of these could be life-threatening without immediate intervention. He needs an echocardiogram and chest X-ray to diagnose what’s happening inside his little body. Inkjet is currently on the island of Molokai- a very small Hawaiian island that does not have any vets, or humane euthanasia options. This is why Inkjet must fly to his amazing doctors in Oahu, who are ready to help. Without this care, he could become critical, and his caretakers would have to watch him suffer with no resources to help. Your donation today will help cover Inkjet’s lifesaving treatment he desperately needs to keep fighting, as well as other cats, like Inkjet, who need our love and support. Please consider giving these cats a chance at a brighter future. Mahalo!

Raven, Panther, Suede & Dakota
Raven, Panther, Suede & Dakota are 4-year-old DSH in Kilgore, TX, who need $400 for Neuters and Basic Vetting
Kilgore, TX • Wildcatters TNR
Raven and siblings Panther, Suede and Dakota were living outside near Laredo, TX. One of our Wildcatters volunteers was in the area for church work and realized the kittens were living in danger. The people feeding them could not afford to get them fixed, so our volunteers offered to take them home, get them vetted and try to find loving forever homes for them. The four boys are friendly to humans and very bonded to each other! The journey to a new home scared them at first, but they have quickly come around to humans and are happily interacting with the people they meet. The family caring for these kittens in Laredo loved them very much, but they knew they were in danger from coyotes and other predators. They couldn't afford to get all the cats vetted, and as a result, females kept having kittens and although the cats died off quickly, new litters kept coming. The four brothers are overall very healthy, but they need basic vetting before they can be adopted. Each one will be neutered, receive a rabies vaccine and a combo test from our vet partner Animal Health and Hospital. This costs approximately $100 per kitten, so $400 total. Wildcatters is primarily funded through the City of Kilgore, but that funding is only available to city cats. The volunteer who took on these fosters is one of our most faithful volunteers, and we want to help get them vetted so they can be adopted!

Kitten Shelter Diversion
Kitten Shelter Diversion in Gainesville, FL, needs $2,000 for Spay/Neuter Program
Gainesville, FL • Operation Catnip of Gainesville, Inc.
Operation Catnip of Gainesville needs $2,000 to keep kittens out of shelters. Our Kitten Shelter Diversion (KSD) Program is the alternative to relinquishment at our over-crowded shelters for residents who find kittens in their backyards. By keeping these kittens out of the shelters, the KSD program prevents overcrowding and the risk of euthanasia. In 2023, Operation Catnip kept 1,249 kittens out of local shelters through the KSD. Those kittens who would now be living outside are instead in loving homes, sourced by their caregivers through social networks or online rehoming resources. It also decreases the burden upon resources and staff, increasing resources that can be spent on other animals. Operation Catnip spays and neuters all the kittens, provides tools necessary for the caregivers to find homes for the kittens through their social networks, and works with the caregivers to trap the queen and other cats in their area to stop the cycle. Operation Catnip provides support for success, including preventative medical care, sick kitten care, vaccines, worming, and finally spay or neuter upon graduation from the program. Without this program, caregivers would either surrender the kittens to one of our local shelters or give them away to family and friends unaltered, thus extending the reproductive cycle. At Operation Catnip, spay-neuter is always our priority. This fundraising goal of $2,000 will provide full services for 30 kittens in our KSD. Together, we can make amazing things happen for animals.

Momma Bliss and her Powerpuff Girls

Fort Lauderdale, FL • Operation Liberation
Meet Momma Bliss and her kittens Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles, aka the Powerpuff Girls! Each member of this adorable family has medical difficulties and has a long healing journey ahead. This family was found wandering a neighborhood looking for food and shelter. All kitties are very underweight and riddled with parasites…they’ve been coming out of both ends since being dewormed! They must have survived on rodents, lizards and garbage scraps as their staple food sources. Momma Bliss has extreme eye problems and cannot even open them. On top of regular medical care, she will require a trip to an ophthalmology specialist and most likely a complicated surgery to cure her eyes. This family will need much medical care going forward including vaccinations, sterilization, and medications as well as Momma Bliss’s complicated eye treatments. Operation Liberation is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for animals. They are committed to providing the care needed for every animal no matter the extent or cost. Please consider donating to help this feline family get the care they need!

Feral
Feral is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in New York, NY, who needs $2,000 for Trap/Neuter/Return.
New York, NY • City Veterinary Care
These cats are part of a feral colony in Queens in the Richmond Hill Section. They are cared for by a community member that feeds them, provides shelter (car tires, boxes with straw bedding), and a winter water bubbler to prevent the water from freezing These cats are feral so they are always at a distance. They stay in the colony neighborhood because resources are provided. We can however, see relationships (good and bad) between them All cats are special.:). The feral ones require a lot of empathy because they are wild animal and do not want our assistance. They are terrified of humans, so trapping them for sterilization surgery is stressfull but we make it a kind and humane as possible These cats, left on the street, sexually intact, breed and multiply. The chances of a kitten making it through the winter is only about 20%, so by sterilizing them before that happens, truly saves lives! The supply of feral cats in the 5 boroughs of NYC are seemingly endless. Every dollar helps to get to them all. The assistances goes to paying spay/neuter veterinarians, support staff and supplies

Feral Cat Spay & Neuter Program
Feral Cat Spay and Neuter Program in New York, NY needs $2,000 for TNR Sterilization.
New York, NY • City Veterinary Care
Join The Toby Project's mission to control the feral cat population by donating towards their spay and neuter program. Your generosity can provide a better future for these stray kitten and cats. The Toby Project provides free spay and neuter, by appointment only, for feral cats brought to us by registered 501C3 nonprofit TNR ( Trap, Neuter, Release) rescue groups in New York City. We've set a goal to raise $2,000, which will cover the cost of 16 cat sterilizations each month. By reaching this goal, we can ensure that more feral cats receive the care they need, helping to control their population and improve their overall well-being. Each year, approximately 6,000 cats taken to municipal shelters in New York City are killed simply because there are not enough homes to account for the overwhelming number of cats in need. This intolerable problem exists because the City's uncontrolled stray population reproduces naturally -- and too many pet owners allow their cats to breed without contemplating the consequences. Sterilization is essential when it comes to managing the population of feral cat communities. This not only helps control the population but also prevents the spread of diseases that can harm both humans and animals. Donate today! Every little bit helps.

Cheeto
Cheeto is a 1-year-old Orange Tabby Cat in Muscoda, WI, who needs $300 for Vaccines and Neuter.
Muscoda, WI
Cheeto was given to me as a birthday present from my fiance. My fiance passed away a couple months ago and because I've had to say goodbye to pets in the past I decided that no matter what, I'm not giving Cheeto up and will do whatever I need to do to keep him. He has never had vaccinations and nearly 5 months ago he developed a problem where his balance is off and he shakes his head alot. Cheeto is great with everyone and other animals as well. I had to move back in with my Mom and she has 2 female cats and a male and female dog. Cheeto likes to go outside occasionally and likes when the other cats play with him. He is a goof. He is so resilient and kind hearted. He loves sliding around on the kitchen floor playing or eating catnip. I underestimate how strong he is sometimes, he often falls but gets right back up!! He hasn't had vaccines. Will probably require labs, and possibly medication to treat whatever makes him unbalanced. And ultimately I would love to be able to get him neutered. When my fiance passed away I had no choice but to move again and start over. I don't have a car and owe $ because prior to the move i couldn't find a job. I'm working a part time job but it hardly covers bills. Cheeto deserves vet care, he's amazing. I'd be lost without him too

Feral Kitten 1
Feral Kitten 1 is a 3-month-old Orange Tabby Kitten in Stone Mountain, GA, who needs $500 for Neuter.
Stone Mountain, GA • Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends
Little feral cat #1 was born to one of AARF's most dependable feral colony females after she was crafty enough to avoid the last TNR roundup. The kitten is around 3-4 months old and is unaltered. He lives with his family (mom, 3 siblings, and a big group of aunts and uncles) in their community cat territory (1-2 mile radius) behind the rescue! Little feral cat #1 has the best of both worlds. He gets fed wet food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, has constant access to crunchies, and of course clean water behind the rescue. In addition to the domestic perks, he also gets to roam free with his feral family, catching bugs, chasing butterflies, and learning how to "cat" in the wild! Little feral cat #1 is the bravest of the bunch! This kitten was the first of his siblings to pop his ears over the rock wall, first to venture up the stairs, and first to accompany his mom to the food bowls. He's still shy of humans, but is learning where the good stuff comes from morning and night! AARF knows one key to preventing pet overpopulation and homelessness is supporting local community cats through feral feeding and organized TNR efforts. Little feral #1 was born as a result of an abandoned house pet "canoodling" with females in the community. AARF will work with its partner vets, The Village Vets and Loving Touch Animal Center, to make his spay possible and prevent future kittens! As tough times squeeze pet parents' wallets, AARF'S facility and foster homes are now full of more animal surrenders than ever. These unexpected intakes require expensive veterinary care to rehabilitate for adoption.

Pollyanna
Pollyanna is a 3-year-old Calico Cat in Longview , TX, who needs $1,800 for Amputation and Sterilization Surgery.
Longview, TX • The Cat’s Meow Rescue (TCMR)
Pollyanna urgently needs your help! She is one of the 50 cats and kittens left behind when their owner passed away. The Cat's Meow Rescue (TCMR) immediately took action and brought over 90 pounds of dry and wet food. While there, they noticed some kitties were not doing very well, especially a tiny calico, Pollyanna. She was discovered injured and dragging her front leg. "One look at this kitty, and we knew she needed our help. She was sweet but so tiny, and her leg was just dangling," Heather tells TCMR supporters. "There was no question, she was one we would be taking home that day." During her vet checkup, they confirmed she is about three years old but only weighs 4 lbs. They then discovered a compound fracture in her right front leg that was about two weeks old. Unfortunately, the news got worse when X-rays showed that the fracture was much more severe than expected The swelling was calcification around the fracture offered some stability but would prevent any further healing, leaving her unable to use her arm again. With the new information, amputation of her leg was the best option for her to have the best chance at a happy and healthy life. In the meantime, she is confined to limit her mobility and has been doing very well. She loves her food and treats and is also learning to use a litter box! "We are anxious for her to be able to put this all behind her and experience a full and pain-free life again, but her journey of healing has only just begun." Pollyanna will be going in for her amputation and spay surgeries. TCMR is hoping that you might be able to lend a paw and donate towards her surgery costs. Every little bit helps, and they're so grateful for your support. Soon Pollyanna will be able to run and play just like any other cat, with three legs instead of four!

Boobs
Boobs is a 6-year-old Cat in Chattanooga, TN, who needs $300 for Simple Spay Procedure with Post Op Meds.
Chattanooga, TN
I had recently become widowed and was told, a pet would offer great comfort. Previously, thinking ownership would be a bother, I was offered a small, 6 week old, gray and white cat. Not sure if I could tolerate one, I consented. Boobs has been a most fluffy, gentle and graceful presence in my home. After COVID took my husband, it was difficult to enjoy my home. His absence was not expected and I was devastated. The house was so quiet and I didn't know how I would endure such grief. A fine friend and her children offered me a cat from a newly norn litter. I prepared for the worse but a very soft, sweet, animal awakened my very soul to "life" once again. Boobs is quite a unique animal because of her soft and friendly attitude. I think she has never met a stranger. As a matter of fact, she seems to fit my own character to a "t". With her cunning abilities and keen sense of awareness she nuzzles and always caresses me at the right time. Although we have only known one another briefly, I can sense an awareness of our mutual needs. I've been referred to our veterinarian by an organization called Widows Harvest. At this time, Boobs has no devastating health condition. She is approaching 6 months of age. I am told this would be the best time to have the spaying procedure. She is an indoor pet and shows interest in the outdoors daily. After Gary (spouse) died, I have consolidated and downsized every imaginable way possible. My income continues too be diminished by the rising costs of living. Adding cat food and kitty litter won't break the bank but this surgery might.

Robin
Robin is a 3-year-old DSH Cat in Huntington, WV, who needs $1,700 for Leg Amputation Due to Being Shot.
Huntington, WV • One by One Animal Advocates
Robin was likely someone's beloved companion when he showed up at someone's house, seemingly in good condition but limping. Treating Robin's injury would have been a financial impossibility for his rescuer, yet they could not turn away from this limping feline friend. With their limited resources already stretched thin, the kind-hearted person had no choice but to bring him to the shelter for help. Unfortunately, he could not bear any weight on his leg and required medical evaluation - an expense the shelter couldn't afford. We were then asked to help Robin financially with his emergency care. We couldn't say no and watch this sweet little kitty suffer. Sending Robin for an X-Ray was heartbreaking - discovering that a bullet had pulverized his leg and scattered fragments of bone all over the place. We knew immediately that amputation was the only viable option, as even if it were possible to fix his leg, there was no guarantee he'd ever walk correctly again. We need your help to save this sweet cat's life and ensure they live their best nine lives! Please donate today to ensure we can get our furry friends the care they deserve! Your generous contribution will enable us to make a real difference in Robin's life and ensure he lives his best nine lives. At our non-profit rescue, One by One Animal Advocates relies on generous donations from amazing people to help us care for cats and dogs in need. Please join us as we work together to support our feline friends!

Beauty
Beauty is a 8-year-old Calico Shorthair Domestic Cat in Glassport , PA, who needs $550 for Emergency Spay.
Glassport, PA
Hi! I am a happy, fur mom of three cats. The oldest cat - Beauty is 8 years old, a calico, and recently developed a uterine disease Pyometra. Unfortunately, she has to have her uterus removed during a high risk spay surgery. It has become an emergency and needs it as soon as possible. I had recently adopted her a year ago from a family member, and has been the perfect addition to the family since. She is a fun-loving, happy mama who accepts and plays with every creature she meets! Her favorite activities are eating and playing with her three cat siblings. We call Beauty mama because she's the QUEEN. She rules the roost with her protective energy and has been nicknamed the female Garfield! I don't know what we would do without her. Not only has the news of Beauty's uterus infection been heartbreaking, but it has also taken a financial toll. The veterinary hospital gave us an estimate of anywhere from $500 to $2,000. We have paid for the initial vet check and the initial fee to undergo the surgery. Beauty is not just a cat, but a very loved member of our family. I will do whatever I can for her and we need your help. Please help us anyway that you can! Donations and prayers are so much appreciated. I thank you so much in advance to help save her life!

Mary
Mary is a 5-year-old Shorthair Cat in Montrose, CO, who needs $1,700 for Emergency Spay due to Pyometra.
Montrose, CO
Hi my name is Kelsey and this is Mary! A kitty my daughter and I rescued from a store where she had been dumped and was pregnant. She had been out there for at least 2 years before we found her. When we got her she safely had her babies. She nursed them for 10 months, she loves them so much. She's is so good to them. I don't have the heart to give up on her. She needs us and we need her. Mary has been with us for 3 and a half years. She was so thin and malnourished when we got her and brought her home. It took a long time for her to completely trust us. We want her to be ok. She has 4 of her 6 kittens that live with us. They love her and she loves then so much. She's so young and had such a hard life before we brought her to our home. She is always "talking" to us. She loves to chat all day and all night. She's beautiful, she has big blue eyes and beautiful white hair. She loves her babies which are not babies anymore. They are so much bigger than her. One of them lays on top of her. You can tell she's had such a hard life. She is finally secure knowing that she is loved and taken care of. She is at the veterinary hospital, and she needs to have her uterus and ovaries removed because of pyometra. Otherwise she is in perfect health and has a good outcome after the surgery. She has no other problems and this was totally unexpected. I just lost one of my kitties in October unexpectedly, that incurred $7,000 in bills. He had cancer and diabetes. Then one of Mary's kitties had a urinary blockage and that was over $3,000. We love her so very much. She is a very important, special part of our family.
