Maggie Mae

Maggie Mae came in our life as a surprise for my kids about a year ago. She currently owns 2 children (that's what shelties do 🤣) She has 2 big brothers that are pit bulls and definitely runs the house. She is a little ball of energy that loves to chase tennis balls and play fetch! She is very loved and we couldn't imagine life without her. She is a great little dog (15 lbs) that gets along great with her 2 pit bull brothers as well as my 5 year old daughter and 15 year old son. My son is definitely "her person" and she follows him everywhere. She is super sweet and totally happy to meet anyone, especially kids. We try to take her places with us because she is so friendly. I am just starting back to work and already have $1000 into bandage changes and x-rays over the last 7 weeks. I have no savings left and 2 other dogs and 2 children to take care of as well. It would mean the world to me if people can help by making donations directly. Maggie has always been a healthy pup. Up until 7 weeks ago when a child size trampoline fell on her leg and fractured it. The treating vet is Dr. Cooley at Hill Street Veterinary Hospital. We have had it in a splint for the past 7 weeks and it's not healing so the next step requires surgery to repair. Maggie Mae is a super funny little gal. You will have her full attention if you have a ball in your hand and she will play fetch ALL DAY LONG if you let her. She gets super excited when she sees "cookies" she starts to do little spins like a little spinning furry top! She loves to go for car rides and stick her little head out the window.
Maverick
Maverick is a 5-year-old Labrador in Fair Grove, MO, who needs $2,000 for TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy).

Maverick (5) has been in our home since 8 weeks old. Currently 80lbs Black lab mixed breed - mom chocolate lab, dad pesky unknown neighbor dog. Generally healthy. Neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Had a hematoma in his ear once which now has a permanent crimp. Has had two brothers...an English mastiff who passed away and currently a golden retriever/great pyrenees mix Milo Lives on 5 acres of woods with a stream he loves to play in. Very very active. Loves playing ball..runs jumps and catches for hours. Outdoor explorer..dock diving, kayaking, swimming...until he absolutely drops. Only takes up half of our king size bed! if you can get him to stop. Loves his jolly ball or any tennis ball. Obsessed with truck rides well traveled dog on vacation loved by everyone! Surgery quoted as approximately 7600$ to fix both knees. Didn't have insurance and definitely unexpected expense. Dad just started new job and family is just unprepared for expensive surgery. Mav is the rock of our family. Could write a book on him but limited here Mav has 2 torn CCLs in his hind legs. First accident was playing with his brother. Dr Mallard said rest and restricted movement but maverick is hard to keep still. Now injured both needing TPLO on both. Referred to VSS hospital Manchester MO 3 hours from home. Due to size and activity level, other surgeries not viable option. Hard to even walk now without support Tries so hard to talk to his people, gets frustrated when we don't understand chewbacca howls. Obsessed with Lazer pointer that hasn't been on the desk for several years but still looks for it. Man's best friend hunting fishing playing ball boats trucks and 4x4...loves them all. Not a good ping pong partner...tries to eat the balls. Same with playing pool, jumps to try to get pool balls.
Iggy
Iggy is a 3-year-old Pit Bull Mix in San Francisco, CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Iggy was adopted as a puppy from Fresno Bully Rescue. He's 3.5 years old, a little chubby, but an absolute joy to be around. Iggy is brindle and white and has heterochromia, meaning he has one blue and one brown eye (we like to call his blue eye, his zombie eye. lol) He lives in San Francisco, but loves to travel when he can. Iggy as a man about town. His favorite place to play is the beach, but he also likes going to pet parks all over San Francisco and the peninsula. Sometimes, if his mom is up to it, they'll go on long city walks to sightsee or stop at an outdoor restaurant/cafe for a snack. But most of the time, you can find Iggy at home, cuddling or taking a nap. Unfortunately, knee surgery is very expensive and this sudden unexpected expense has put me in a difficult situation. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time! Iggy has a complete CCL tear on his back right knee and needs TPLO surgery. While CCL tears are very common injuries for dogs, it is very important to treat them on time and unfortunately they do require a long recovery time. But Iggy's been going to the SF SPCA since he was a puppy and we're confident he'll make a complete recovery. Iggy has a happy energy that can't be matched. He can be shy at first with people, but loves playing and running with other dogs. It's hard to stay in a bad mood with Iggy around, just one look at that goofy smile will make you happy. Since last year, it can be hard to get motivated to leave the house, but Iggy will remind me its time to get outside and get some sunshine and fresh air!
Trax
Trax is a 1-year-old Mixed Breed in South River, NJ, who needs $200 for neuter surgery.

I found Trax through someone giving him away on Craigslist. I wanted my very own kitten, as my roommates have cats and dogs of their own. I loved him the moment i saw him. I knew I had to get him that very moment to get him out of the situation he was in, so I rushed out the door and realized i had forgotten a cat carrier! I found a box, so hoped that would be sufficient. He was VERY scared when i first picked him up. I placed him on the seat, turned my head for two seconds to put my seatbelt on, and before i knew it he had jumped out of the box and gotten himself stuck behind my steering wheel in the dashboard! (I drive a Chevrolet trax, so this is how i decided to name him). He has a brother now who is his world. I am currently unemployed. I’m JUST making it by. All of my bills are behind and i owe more money then i should. My mental disabilities prevent me from working, and this is making it very difficult to provide Trax with the neuter that he needs. Trax is a very healthy kitten. He has not had one medical issue, thank goodness. I take him to South River Veterinary clinic. He knows them and they know him! They love seeing him! He’s up to date on shots and microchipped. He isn’t, however, neutered, and he is due for it in about a months time, which is coming quicker than anticipated. Him and his brother sleep together, eat together, play together. They do everything together! They love running around all over the house and looking out the window. They also LOVE eating! They’re definitely partners in crime. Whenever it’s bed time, all i have to do is say “kitties” and they come running!
Zena
Zena is a 11-year-old Pitt Bull Terrier in Galveston, TX, who needs $193 for tumor removal.

Zena is the daughter to Boomboom which passed away from Seizures. Zena has been in my life since birth and she is now 11 years old. The same age that her Dad was when he passed. Zena has her own Queen size bed and her own bedroom with a TV that is own Animal planet 24 hours 7 days a week, shares room with Conan. Zena shares her bedroom with her step brother Conan. They have their own bedroom, Zena has a Queen size bed and Conan has his own kennel. They have their own TV and it stays on the animal planet day and night. Zena is really more of a loner but when she feels good she will come out of her room and play. I live alone and I am on Social Security and with the pet bills that I already have with Stinka ( she is a diabetic and has to be given insulin twice a day) and with Conan having allergies real bad and getting his medication, it is really becoming unbearable. Zena's medical situation is still being diagnosed. I only know right now that she has a tumor on her under carriage. The name of the Vet Clinic is call the Animal Clinic and her vet is Dr. Fistein. Zena is behind on all of her shots and heart guard as well as her flea medication. I do know that Zena has some teeth decaying. Zena makes me very happy because she is the off spring of Boomboom which was my protector and when I had my strokes he never left my side. Zena is more of a loner. She gets along with her brother and sister (Stinka) and when she is feeling good she will play and tussell around with them and have fun.
Oreo
Oreo is a kitten in Madison, OH, who needs $160 for testing and diagnostics.

This is sweet Oreo. He came into my life 8 months ago when I helped his mom give birth. It was an instant bond and knew in my heart we would be together forever. He is a total love bug that is always there when I am feeling down, sick, or hunting. Now when he is sick I'm returning that love. He is small but has the biggest heart and loudest purr ever. Oreo is super special in my house. When he wants love he will walk up in front of you, flop down, and just start rolling. Then he pauses to see if you were watching and his purr box starts the minute you reach for him. He loves everyone no matter if human or animal. His favorite snuggle buddies are the 3 month old kittens...when he isn't snuggling me. With covid hitting things have been hard sometimes. My family does help take care of about 20 cats. That includes local strays and feral cats. Providing for that many has gotten a little harder and I need my sweet Oreo healthy again. He is being seen at VCA North Ridge Animal Hospital in Madison, OH. He has always been smaller and I had been told in the past that I shouldn't worry. He is 8 months old and is just a little bit bigger than a 4 month old. Recently he has had diarrhea and in the past few days it has gotten so bad that it leaks out while he is walking. Also he does have q bit of a pot belly. He was born a kitten but I'm not sure if he only wants to be a kitten. He loves to sit on a shoulder and watch what's going on. Sometimes he will even snuggle your neck and fall asleep. Im wondering if he is part parrot. He has also "barked" once or twice to check it out. If cat toys come into the house he will steal and hide any he can find and after he hides them, he shows me where his stash is.
Lucky
Lucky is a 10-year-old Dilute Calico in Johnstown, PA, who needs $150 for testing and diagnostics.

Lucky was a rescuer off of the alleys in my neighborhood. She is a miracle member of my family. She had 2 other brothers Oscar and smoot. She is also blind from a botched vet operation and she had been challenged from the day we found her. She is the sweetest. She does not let her disability stop her from any thing. Lucky is fiercely independent. She is definitely her own person. She is also a cuddlier when you sleep and if you are not feeling well lucky is the first to lay with you to make sure you start to feel better. She is blind but Lucky does not miss a trick or her treats! I am very blessed that she came into our lives I just had to buy a new car, my old car has been in the shop for a month. It’s been a huge financial burden. To have Luck well again, would be like my 2nd child to be heals. She deserves it.. Lucky has had a hard go from day 1 with her botched eye surgery. I cannot believe how resilient she has been. Recently lucky has been diagnosed with something to do with her teeth and gums. The vet told me it would start at $200 and go up depending on what they have to do At Johnstown Veterinary Clinic Lucky is my first born pet girl. She just knows things and understands. She watches from a far with the other 2 and lets them be. I cannot think of my life with out her. She has been my heart from day 1. Being blind that does not stop her from living a great life and playing with all of us. She is so sweet
Koba
Koba is a three-year-old Dachshund in Vacaville, CA, who needs $1,267 for emergency surgery.

When another dog attacked Koba, his struggling family sprang into action to ensure he got the care he needed. "He was losing so much blood, we were afraid of what had happened, and we rushed to the pet hospital," Tina C., Koba's human mom, tells Waggle. X-rays revealed the other dog's teeth punctured Koba's trachea, and he needed surgery to fix it, stat. Solano Napa Pet Emergency Clinic was ready to help. "Before surgery, they let me sit and hold Koba. I was devastated and scared," Tina says. Koba made it through the operation. He now has a drain in his neck and needs continuing care. His medical bills are adding up, and that's panicking Tina. She has been financially devasted by natural disasters and COVID-19. Tina works for a woman-owned business that helped keep the community fed when wildfires ravaged the area. "The small catering company was quick to respond and provide meals for displaced families who were victims of the fires," Tina adds. "Then the catering van was broken into, lit on fire, and destroyed, but they continued to deliver much-needed meals to fire victims." When the pandemic hit, the catering business suffered another financial setback--- all their events, like weddings, fundraisers, and parties, were canceled. Tina's husband is a Petty Officer First Class for the Navy. "We live on a fixed income, my husband is retired, and I work a part-time job. I didn’t even think of the cost when we took Koba to the hospital. I just wanted him to be healthy again," Tina says. Koba's family has given so much to the community, now they hope the Waggle community will help Koba during these difficult times.
Max

Our sweet boy came into our lives because he needed to be placed with a family that could love him and provide him a more suitable situation then his prior home could. We were more then excited to be getting our sweet chi he has been with us for going on 9 years in June. In the beginning he was timid and shy but once he realized we needed him too our world became even warmer with him in it. Max is our baby and we can’t imagine life without him. He is always by one of our sides but he and I are best buds for sure. Max likes to snuggle up in anyone of my items from my blankets, to my bed and even my house robe. Sometimes he will even get inside my diaper bag or purse if I am not around or I just get home. He loves to sunbathe and explore outside. He is a huge part of our family! I am a single mom with two children, living with family currently waiting for housing assistance. My financial circumstances are currently in a very hard place and I can’t afford to take care of my own health troubles and manage to get max the medicine and vet care he needs. So currently we are in the waiting position of getting into see the vet at Idaho humane society in Boise, ID. No current price but it’s sure to be more then I like to think. He has bad teeth and they are very much infected it is cause him to have breathing issues and severe pain. We were able to treat him with antibiotics from a passed pet and it helped rid the infection and now we have run out. Max is a cuddle bug it doesn’t matter where you are he will sit on your lap furever and we will always let him. Sometimes he gets big woof coco’s and wants to feel he is protecting us but with age he realizing not today. He is funny because he tries to dominate cats and bigger dogs and he just is so stinking cute. He is a true boy and don’t care for veggies but BACON YUM YES PLZ! He is amazing!
