Buddy

Buddy is a 12-year-old senior dog, rescued as part of a cruelty case. Buddy was dropped at animal control by a man who claimed to have found him, but was actually his owner, later charged with neglect. Buddy is currently in a foster home and finally getting the care he so deserves. Despite the pain he has endured, Buddy remains sweet and loving – docile with people, dogs and cats – just looking for a place to feel safe. Buddy should be living his senior years spoiled and surrounded with love, not neglected and in pain. Buddy is the sweetest boy who just wants a safe place and love. He lived so long in pain and through neglect that he is just happy to now be comfortable and loved. Buddy presented with skin lesions, ear infections, grossly overgrown nails, Lymes disease, anal gland infection and a swollen back left foot. His injured rear paw was horribly painful, requiring, as his bone was sticking out. Two lumps were found on Buddy and biopsied. He has mast cell cancer, so the tumors will be removed this week, and surgery should be curative for our sweet boy! Following a lifetime of neglect, Buddy finally has a second chance at his best life. Despite the pain he has endured, Buddy remains docile and loving – just looking for a place to feel safe, someone to care for him. Please help us change Buddy's world!
Charlie
Charlie is a 2-year-old Pitbull Mix in Magnolia, TX, who needs $2,000 for Intensive Wound and Heartworm Treatment.

Charlie is one brave boy! He was tied to a car and dragged for several blocks resulting in severe wounds. On top of that, he is heartworm positive. But thankfully, D&A Animal Rescue came to the rescue and is ensuring Charlie receives the special treatment and veterinary care he needs. Right now, Charlie is getting Phovia Light Therapy, laser therapy, and his bandages changed regularly. He also takes antibiotics and pain medicine to help with his wounds. The kind people at the Neighborhood Veterinary Center are taking such good care of him. They think it will take about 2-3 more weeks before his wounds are all better. After that, they'll need to treat his heartworms. Despite his traumatic past, Charlie is a happy-go-lucky guy that has so much love to give. He is constantly happy with a tail that never stops wagging. Charlie still has a long way to go on his healing journey, but thanks to the team at D&A Animal Rescue Team, he now has hope for a new life. Meet Momma Bliss and her kittens Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles, aka the Powerpuff Girls! Each member of this adorable family has medical difficulties and has a long healing journey ahead. This family was found wandering a neighborhood looking for food and shelter. All kitties are very underweight and riddled with parasites…they’ve been coming out of both ends since being dewormed! They must have survived on rodents, lizards and garbage scraps as their staple food sources. Momma Bliss has extreme eye problems and cannot even open them. On top of regular medical care, she will require a trip to an ophthalmology specialist and most likely a complicated surgery to cure her eyes. This family will need much medical care going forward including vaccinations, sterilization, and medications as well as Momma Bliss’s complicated eye treatments. Operation Liberation is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for animals. They are committed to providing the care needed for every animal no matter the extent or cost. My pet was a wedding gift from my loving partner as a anxiety dog and help dog as I am partly blind and have a hard time to see. But mostly he is for cuddles and love he is mostly mine sleeping with me when my partner is at work or when i just need to calm down from one of many extrema anxiety attracts that I have almost daily my dog knows exactly when i need a caring snuggle or a be happy lick and even now he will attempt to snuggle me as he can see the fear and scare in my eyes VCA Kootenai Animal Hospital is where we plan to take him as he has always ad his shots and visits here in the pass and its the closes and cheapest place around us my partner is a war vet and is unable to drive or work I am also on ssi and ssa for portal blindness and high anxiety we also live in a second 8 housing and are funds are very very limited we DID have savings but had to use that back when the pandemic hit us both

Diesel came into my life as a rescue puppy. He was from an accidental litter and his parents owner was giving the pups away. When Diesel was about 4 years old we met my now husband. Diesel instantly loved him. My husband also had a dog named Dunkin and they became the bestest of friends. The four of us instantly became one family. Diesel loves all the attention he can get, he never meets a stranger. He loves sleeping in the bed with mom and dad, especially cuddling. He loves to spend time outside running around and playing fetch. Food is his ultimate motivation! He loves to wrestle with his brother Dunkin. Diesel's best friend is his brother Dunkin. He loves to talk back to you or sing. When there is a treat around he is first to let you know he will "high-five" for that treat! He loves to ride in the car. When he's dreaming in his sleep he loves to bark. He also twitches in his sleep which we think is one of the most adorable things. He's also a BIG snorer. He is always so curious about everything! Diesel was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. He was barley eating, barley had any energy and overall weak with aggressive weight loss. After blood work, chest & abdominal x-rays, the Dr. at the emergency vet said she was 99% certain it was Addison's Disease. We followed up with our regular vet Goodlettsville Animal Hospital and they preformed the ATCH-Stem Test & confirmed the diagnosis. Diesel's diagnosis was very unexpectant. He means so much to us & we just want him healthy again & back to himself. It has put a burden on us as we have maxed out our credit cards just to pay for the emergency visit & all the tests. His lifelong medication will be costly.

I got storm when he was a year old, I had been looking for a cat for awhile.. And one day when I was scrolling through Facebook his pictures popped up and I knew I wanted him to join my family..Flash forward seven years and he is my big baby. His original owners had been abusing him badly..When they dropped him off the lady punched him in the head. I immediately freaked out and snatched him. Storm is family to us, He is the sweetest kitty. He is the biggest snuggle bug and loves to express his happiness towards people by giving them head bumps and snuggling up close. As I said he is my big baby. Life would not be the same without him. At night he carried around these puffball cat toys and meows happily showing off what he caught..He stalks the toys and acts like he's hunting prey. It's so cute. Storm has a snapped fang and other issues with five teeth that don't look so great, He needs dental work done and I am having a difficult time being able to afford it since I am currently out of work. His teeth really don't look the best. I lost my job in October and he and another cat suddenly had a tooth issue, The other cats issues resolved but storms need more vet care. So we made this in the hopes we can raise the money to cover it.

Grandpa was found as a stray hanging around a schoolyard, but he was most likely dumped by his former owner. When the shelter learned that he was positive for heartworms, had a chronic eye condition, and a host of other problems, they contacted us. He found a ride all the way to our sanctuary and he's been receiving medical treatment since his arrival. Grandpa looks far older than his years because of his shockingly emaciated frame. Not only is he woefully thin, he’s lived for so long in chronic pain it’s a testament to his resilience that he’s even still alive. But the sweetest, most satisfying sight of all is how much Grandpa loves leaning on us and being petted. He knows that he’s been rescued and that he’s both safe and well-loved now. Surprisingly quiet for such a big hound, Grandpa does emit a deep, low “roooo” whenever he needs something – potty, water, food, etc. Being from the Deep South, he dislikes the cold, snow is alien to him, and he revels in the warmth his blankets and jammies provide his frail, aged body. He's in good spirits now and you'd never guess that his body is filled with buckshot. The first priority is to treat Grandpa's heartworm disease, to help with the pain from his hip dysplasia, and to give him relief from his itchy skin and chronic dry eyes. Grandpa has been started on many medications and is undergoing the long process of clearing his body of heartworms. Dr. Zulandt, owner of Madison Vet Hospital is treating Grandpa. As a registered, nonprofit animal rescue, we specialize in providing lifetime care to senior and medical needs animals and we rely on donations to raise funds to pay for vet bills. Jobo
Jobo is a 8-year-old Domestic Long Hair Cat in Escondido, CA, who needs $776 for Abscess Drain Placement Surgery.

Jobo has been with me since October of 2021. I have another cat named Binx who was already with me. Like Binx, Jobo has mostly black fur, but Binx is short hair and Jobo's is long and fluffy. They are both indoor only. Before I got Binx or Jobo, I had a cat named Joy, who accidentally got outside and in spite of my efforts, was never found. Jobo got his name because of Joy. In October of 2021 I was driving home from work and 1 block from my apartment I looked to my left and saw a black cat standing in a yard. It looked like my cat Joy who had gone missing the year before. Long story short, I was determined to catch this cat who I believed was Joy and about a week later, I got a trap and caught it. Once I got a closer look, I had doubts it was Joy but wasn't sure. I took the cat to my vet and told them I thought it might be my cat who had disappeared the year before. Joy had been microchipped. They examined the cat and said it wasn't' microchipped and that it was a male, not a female. I decided to keep the cat and the named him Jobo, which is short for JoyBoy, because I thought the cat was Joy, but it turns out he was a boy! Jobo is the sweetest cat I've ever had. He was loving towards me from the beginning, and I have great love and appreciation for him. About 2 weeks ago while combing him I felt a hard lump just below his right jaw. I took him to our vet and was told it was probably an abscess. He got an antibiotic shot and I was told if it didn't open on it's own that he would need surgery to remove it. After rent and other basic needs are paid for, I have no money left. I received an estimate for Jobo's surgery to remove the abscess and it is $775.38. The veterinarian is Dr. Jernigan at North Escondido Animal Hospital.

I found this sweet girl on the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere. She was so skinny. You could tell she had been abused. She was scared but somehow trusted me to keep her safe. I brought her home. Gave her a bath and started the process of trying to get her to trust me. Three years later, she is a very much loved, spoiled girl. She has really taken to my grandson, Michael. He's on the autistic spectrum and I think she knows he's a little different. Over the years she has really come out of her shell. You can still see little things that still affect her from before she came into our lives. She's such a silly girl. She loves to run laps around the yard. She does this thing with her paw where she reaches out and taps you when she wants pets or attention. But it's the unconditional love she gives us even though someone hurt her in the past. I noticed a small lump under her chin a few months back. It would shrink but come back. Then shrink again. This time however, it didn't shrink. It continued to grow into this larg mass. I finally had to take her to Banfield Pet hospital. They told me they think it's a cancerous growth and needs to be removed. If I can't provide surgery, I should euthanize her because of where it is. I lost my job back in March. I'm the sole provider for my grandson, whom I'm raising. I've been doing Gig jobs to pay the bills but that doesn't leave anything extra. We don't want to have to put her down. She is a member of our family. We just want her healthy again.
