Blue
Blue is a 8 Year Old Chihuahua in Gobles, MI, Who Needs $1,000 for Hospitalization, IV Treatment, Insulin, and Glucose.

Blue came to us in a snow storm. We picked him up and he's been a wonderful companion for our other Chihuahua Sister. They love each other so much and are bonded. He's a little grumpy like any typical Chihuahua but a lover at heart. Blue started throwing up and acting funny while I was in the hospital and over the past month had been drinking quite a bit more I had noticed and eating less. When I got out of the hospital we thought he was just stressed and would eat again normally but was unable to keep anything down soo off to the vet we went. Turns out his sugar was sky high at 320 and his kidney and pancreas are not happy. He loves his Chihuahua mate sister and he is bonded to me as well. He is not too keen on other visitors and is a one person dog although he has started to bond with his cousin Keaghan and will cuddle with her when I'm not around. This time of year I only have snow plowing as an income and our truck broke down this week as well so this hit at a bad time. It will be such a relief to have blue back healthy and happy able to eat and function.
Sparky

Sparky came to us in 2017 as the runt of his litter. He chose us and we have loved him since! He survived being hit by a car in 2020, and truly is a fighter! Yesterday he got in the middle of a dog fight and today has a large pocket of fluid covering the top of his head, and it’s moving down his neck. He is lethargic and not acting like himself. He is our baby and we are so worried about him! He was in a dog fight and has a large mass of fluid covering the top of his head, and traveling down his neck. He is lethargic and isn’t acting like himself. He also is missing more teeth and has some issues going on with his teeth/gums that. Needs to be addressed. We use Allegan Vet Clinic. Sparky is our spunky little guy! He doesn’t travel with us though, since he gets carsick easily. He sleeps with me nightly and follows me everywhere at home. He also loves his 10 and 11 year old human siblings who spoil him rotten. He is very special to us and we hope to have many years left with him. I am currently applying for early disability retirement, and have been out of work for 17 months. Finances are VERY limited at this time while I wait for benefits to be approved.

We rescued Milo from a tree last fall. He lives inside only. he sleeps during day wherever i am at. we don't know much about his background. we were able to get him neutered thanks to a place offering it for discount. he has had his shots when we found him he has an amazing indoor life with my husband, son, me and another cat we rescued 5 years ago. i make sure he has clean fresh litter, food in dish, fresh water. he loves all of us and everyone that comes into our home. He loves to sit on counter and wait for his cat treats. He loves to rub his nose all over your face. my husband works part time at our township. He gets paid once a month. he does not get many hours in winter due to most his work is outdoors. i don't want to lose milo. my son would be heartbroken. they love each other so much. he has been puking every morning or late evening once a day. he eats and drinks fine. He goes to bathroom and does not get human food. this started over a month ago. our other cat is long haired and he is short. she throws up hairballs and washes herself a lot. he however never had hairball and doesn't lick much. i am worried he is skinny. he would be seen at Allegan animal clinic. Taking him in was best decision we made. he has touched our hearts. loves to play. loves to jump on your lap or chest. purr and sleep. he will follow me everywhere even sit while i take a bath or shower. makes a smile when he stretches out on floor for belly rub. he loves to cuddle up next to our wood stove.
