Carlos
Carlos is a 9 Year Old Mix-Breed in Clifton, CO, Who Needs $1,500 for Perineal Urethrostomy.
Clifton, CO
Hello my name is Jordan and I'm am the human father of my furry best friend Carlos! Carlos has been the best pet anyone can ask for, he has the most soft fur ever and he always loves getting his fur brushed! It's funny my wife says he could be sleeping and he has learned the sound of my car that when he hears it he jumps up into the window and just stair at me until I come in. Carlos was a runt when he was born and because of this he was born with bladder smaller then it should, and because of this he has a lot of problems with his bladder. He is fighting a really bad uti right now and need a surgery possibly. He has crystals in his bladder. He is a very special cat he sleeps with me every night and sleeps leaned up against my chest, when im at work he crys until I get home and then when I do get home he only wants to be by me. He loves toys and loves his toy fish( which is actually a dog toy, but don't tell him that). He loves catnip and of course loves to sleep! He's so amazing! As of right now, I am not able to afford what the vet is asking for. I would be able to afford it at the end of the month. But I don't know if Carlos. Has that long with your help? Carlos will hopefully have more time on this Earth, with his family and his brothers!

Murphy
Murphy is a 3 month old Dogue de Bordeaux in Grand Junction, CO, who needs $800 for Emergency Abdominal Exploratory Surgery.
Grand Junction, CO
Murphy was brought into my clinic for having abdominal pain and we found out that she had a metallic foreign body in her stomach after taking X-rays. She needed emergency surgery. The owners refused to do the surgery and wanted to euthanize her and “get a new puppy.” We convinced them to relinquish to our hospital to have surgery. At amigo animal clinic, when Murphy presented with her abdominal pain and lethargy, we did X-rays and found metallic foreign material. The doctor was concerned that she ate a penny - which can cause anemia. After relinquishment, we did some bloodwork and found out that, yes, she was very anemic and required emergency surgery. During surgery, the doctor did in fact find a penny! Murphy is just a puppy and deserves to live a long happy life. At 13 weeks old, she already has such a cute, chill personality. She loves kids, she loves other dogs. She’s just a happy baby that wanted to live and be loved! As we take on this sweet little girl, emergency surgery is not an easy financial feat. Coming up with the money right away is harder than you would think to get the care that this baby needs.

She has a yard to go out to everyday is a bonus she also gets her walks in some short and some long her favorite. She enjoys many daily sniff sniff pleasures and leisure. Friendly to any and all company. Skittles is the sweetest girl she likes to lounge on couch and sleeps by my side. Her favorite pass time is to howl and communicate with the people in the house. She can hold a smile Skittles is a Talker and Singer. She let's me know that she knows my presence and she will carry on talk communication to let me know she is there. Chico
Chico is a 9-month-old Pitbull Mix in Grand Junction, CO, who needs $1,918 for Femur Repair.
Grand Junction, CO
I just recently took in Chico. Chico lived with a family member of mine that unfortunately became homeless and has no job and is unable to get the care and love Chico needs and so desperately wants! I took Chico in because I just wanted to be able to get him the care he requires. Chico lives with me, my fiance, and 4 year old little boy in a 2 bedroom apartment. He is just one big lover boy. Loves to play with my 4 year old little boy while being so very gentle with him. I don't believe this dog has one mean bone in him. He also gets along well with my 8year old King Charles Cavalier very well. The two are partners in crime. All though my 8 year old cavi acts like an old grumpy man he sure loves Chico! Chico, my 8 year old cavalier, and my 4 year old little boy are like the 3 Amigos. With Chico, I don't think he understand what stranger danger means. He loves everyone and everything. I can say that if my apartment were to ever get broken in to, he'd give the robbers lots of loves, and probably direct them to all the good stuff! Chico was was out in the yard playing. When Chico came in from outside he was unable to put any weight on one of his leg and it just dangled there. Chico showed no pain when I went to pick him up. Chico came in to the animal clinic on May 31st, where they performed an exam and some X-rays. After reviewing the X-rays we learned that Chico had snapped his femur in half. 1 year ago my fiance was injured while working and has been on workers comp since then. This was something we just were not financially prepared for. This dog is not just a dog he's like a brother and son to my family. We want our 9mos pup back to being healthy again!

Slinky and Yoyo
Slinky and Yoyo are 1-year-old mix pups in Moab, UT, who need $2,000 for Parvo Treatment.
Moab, UT • Underdog Animal Rescue and Rehab- Moab
Slinky(M) and Yoyo(F) were found abandoned in Newcomb, NM on the Navajo Reservation in early January. A long-time supporter of Underdog Rescue and Rehab saw them cowering under some trash to try and keep warm from the chilly winter winds and scooped them up. Since recovering from Parvo, both Slinky and Yoyo are now in their forever homes. Slinky and Yoyowere very energetic, happy, and vocal pups. So when their foster reported that they were acting lethargic and uninterested in food, we knew something was wrong. After three nights of intensive care, Slinky and Yoyo are both back to their energetic selves. They love exploring and following their noses to new places. They enjoy playing with other dogs and learning new tricks. Underdog Rescue has saved 1400 + dogs from the res. We never turn a dog away because of their medical needs. We are a small rescue that relies on our supporters to help us through emergency medical cases. Slinky and Yoyo were transported to our foster in Grand Junction, CO. Later, the foster reached out and said Slinky was acting lethargic and was uninterested in food. At Amigo Animal Clinic, Slinky was diagnosed with Parvo. Two days later, Yoyo was diagnosed with Parvo too. Each pup spent three nights in intensive care at the vet for IV fluids to ensure they survived. Slinky and Yoyo are from the Navajo Nation reservation. They were rescued from the estimated 250,000+ stray animals on the rez. Rez dogs are against some of the harshest environments, deadly dog diseases, and cannot access basic needs. When these pups survived abandonment in the winter on the rez and deadly disease, they became heroes in our eyes.
