We adopted Bonnie a few months ago when she was just a perfectly healthy, happy,and energetic puppy. She is a Chihuahua and jack Russel mix and definitely acts like it. She's so energetic and loves playing outside in our yard. Due to a series of unfortunate moves that drained our emergency fund, we haven't been able to pay for Bonnies surgery to let her live her life to the fullest. In the past 3 months however, we noticed Bonnie not using her back legs as much. She now walks around and stands in this old crouched position. When we brought her to our vet, and got a series or X-rays, we realized she has luxating patella in both of her hind legs which is a genetic condition that if we let it progress can make it so she can't use her hind legs We originally got Bonnie to be trained as an anxiety dog. But as time progressed we now like to say we sure the anxiety. She is the sweetest little dog who follows me around the house all day long begging to be cuddled and played with. She's a fiercely loyal dog who will bark at any man she doesn't know if they walk into our property. most importantly, she's a bundle of energy who loves to play. We had some sudden moves unfortunately that completely drained our emergency fund, and as a single parent middle class family, we don't have the money to pay for Bonnie's surgery. however, with this surgery Bonnie will be able to gain full function of her hind legs.

To know him is to love him. From the second I saw his photo online on the adoption site I knew he was going to be so special. I was living alone for the first time in my life and I wanted a buddy. I wanted a do that was a bit older but this little 5 month old boy stole my heart. He jumped right into my purse when I kneeled down to pet him. He told me he was coming home with me and I didn't argue. Archie was recently diagnosed with cancer - Compatible with malignant neoplasia, favour sarcoma - to be exact. This softball size mass is of course in a terrible spot, of course.. We found Anicira Animal Hospital and they concluded that it needed to come out - and quick! He was scheduled for a CT and then the machine broke! Leading us to Animal Medical Center of Corona for a last minute appt. If you know Archie - you know he is the sweetest sassiest boy. He LOVES all the booty scratches, the pool, and sitting on your lap... all 70+ pounds of him. He wouldn't hurt a fly and is terrified of shoes squeaking on the ground but his bark will still keep his family safe from those that do not know him. He's Natahlias best friend and we're just not ready to tell her hes gone. Our family has been through the ringer the past two months, We are hoping to ease the financial strain that saving our boy will cause. We will do whatever it takes and will appreciate any donations that come our way.
Mishu

Mishu was the runt of the litter, and her mama cat was being looked after by somebody who was unhoused in San Diego, whom we paid to take Mishu home. We called her Mishu after a kind of familiar slang we used to use on the phone for "miss you." As a kitten, she was smaller than her food bowl and would climb up our legs and nibble our ears. Mishu is 7 now and has been struggling with dental infection for several months. Antibiotics clear up her infection, but it comes back indicating an underlying dental issue. The vets have now said she may need several tooth extractions, which cost up to $500/tooth. After the several rounds of antibiotics and exams that we were sometimes turned away from because Mishu is so afraid to open her mouth, we just want to get our kitty the treatment she needs. Mishu grew up with our youngest, Beau, and has always been very protective of him. She's food-motivated, which makes it extra difficult to see her struggle with dental issues. It hurts her to eat and sometimes causes her gums to bleed, but she still has that lust for life and food. She's an outdoor cat at heart, and still goes outside for a frolic and the thrill of hunting lizards and birds. We're still in the investment stage of our business, which we started during Covid lockdowns, and which still necessitates we spend more than we make. We're also enduring an extra gnarly string of car troubles - and expensive fixes - that leaves us with no emergency fund.

We got Simon from a horse farm in NYC when he was only a few months old and have had him 9years. He is currently a Huntington Beach, CA resident and has done more traveling than some people. He's the sweetest dog with our daughter and we love him so much and hate seeing him with any ailment. Simon has unfortunately developed pyorrhea and has deteriorating gums and needs teeth extractions and anesthesia. There is a possible risk he could die with the procedure due to his age. Simon loves to play at the dog beach, is a good fetcher and super sweet dog. He is friendly and sweet with our 2 year old and gets along very well with other dogs. With our now 2 year old and other expenses we are finding it difficult to pay for the procedure he needs. It would be a blessing to our family to have him get the procedures he needs and come out healthy and happy. He is otherwise in good shape and weight.

MAX came from the cat distribution system. He walked into my life straight up to my front door. He was so cute and small I fell in instantly fed him at 7:00am and panic when I got home from work because there no sight of him. To my disbelief 7:00pm 12 hours later there he was I fed him brought him in bathed him took him to the vet the next day Boom We were FAMILY. MAX found me when he was 3 months old. He is now 8 years and is having dental issues. From my research this happens quite often in the cat world. Max had been diagnosed with gingivitis and is in need of some teeth pulled..possibly all of them. I've been hesitant nervous about having his teeth pulled first because eating is one Max's favorite things to do but VETCO said ASAP. I was terrified. Max is a healer. He is definitely the most affection loving magical pet anyone would be lucky to have him in their life. He is large and in charge and protective over me. Loves to sit on heart chakra and send love and healing vibration as he purrs. Supports me when I'm down and loves me no matter what. His Unconditional love keeps me sane. He is good for my mental health and I'm so grateful. I was hurt at work and I am in the process of retraining for a new career at a point in life where I never thought I'd be. Max is in pain (tooth aches suck). Looking for new work and needing to be able to focus and not worry Max must have this surgery to live PAIN FREE.

When Victoria B. saw Puppy was injured and about to be killed in a Texas shelter, she sprang into action. "He was set to be euthanized to make space," Victoria tells Waggle. "I couldn't see him be euthanized." Victoria brought Puppy for care at Anicira Veterinary Center. "The veterinarian said they think he may have been hit by a car. X-rays confirmed he has a fractured tibia, multiple fractures of his right knee, and a fractured fibula that extends into his growth plate," Victoria says. Sadly, Puppy's leg is so damaged it can't be surgically put back together again. He needs to have the leg amputated. The operation is something Victoria is struggling to pay. "I lost my job a year ago," she says. "I have been able to keep all my pets in great health by living off my savings. Puppy would be so happy to be pain-free if he can get his surgery." Victoria launched this fundraising campaign, hoping you can help Puppy get the surgery she needs so they can all live happily ever after. "He has a good prognosis if he can receive his surgery," she says. "He is here with me in a home with a big yard where he hopes to run in one day. Puppy is a happy-go-lucky little guy stuck on kennel rest until he can get surgery. He would love to run and jump around with his fur siblings.
