Prnny
Prnny is a 7 year old Pomeranian in Yorba Linda, CA, who needs $2,000 for Leg Surgery.
Yorba Linda, CA
Penny came into my life as a puppy. She was the result of a neighbors Pomeranian dogs who were not fixed and her family was just looking for good homes for the puppies. She is now 7 and i could not imagine my life without her. I take her everywhere and she is my best friend. Penny was diagnosed with luxatting patellas in both of her back legs. She is limping constantly and unable to stand let alone play run or jump without pain. She limps or yelps most days and is trying so hard to be a trooper through it but you can see she is in pain. She is in need of surgery for both of her back legs to set her kneecap properly and hopefully live a pain free life. She is an absolute hurricane. Shes crazy, funny, and will do just about anything for attention. She drives her brother Spike crazy but he loves her in his own way. She has been my entire world since I got her and it absolutely kills me to see her in pain. Her personality has calmed down quite a bit since her diagnosis. Penny has lost so much of her personality when her knees started to go. She is in pain everyday and i feel absolutely desperate to help her. I miss my hurricane. Shes saved my life in so many immeasurable ways and i would do anything to bring her relief from her pain.

Silas
Silas is a 6-month-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Fullerton, CA, who needs $2,000 for Salter Harris Type 1 Fracture Surgery.
Fullerton, CA
I was dealing with depression and anxiety last year and on halloween I went to petsmart and just wanted to interact with their pets, I wasn’t expecting to take one home. I met silas, he was immediately drawn to me and played with me through the glass. I asked to meet him and the moment I was allowed to open the cage he jumped towards me and climbed up my shirt. I knew then I had to adopt him. At home silas is very playful! He is constantly running around and playing with his many toys. He is super loving, and follows me around everywhere and even sleeps with me at night. My parents were not fond of cats, but after meeting him, they realized how much they actually loved him and he absolutely changed their views on cats in general! He constantly wants to be held and played with! Silas is super funny, he is constantly keeping me on my toes. He’s either putting his paws under my door until I come out of the bathroom, meowing and then jumping up for me to catch him because he loves being held. He also loves his cat tree and toys, if you put his toys in the hammock of the cat tree he will run and jump and hold onto the rim of the hammock and pull his toys out. Yesterday, 2/14/24, I was getting ready for work and heard a crashing sound. I went out to check what happened and his cat tree was knocked over. I had checked on him and he seemed fine, running away and going to eat. I left his toys out and left for work around 2pm. When I got home around 8pm, he was hiding and had a limp in his back leg. I took him to the ER and he has broken his leg. I am a full time college student and cannot afford his surgery. I spent $1,035 on x-rays and medication for him, but after calling around for estimates, his surgery is going to be $5,000+ and I cannot afford that. The only other option is amputation which is cruel and unfair

Boaz
Boaz is a 2-year-old Labradoodle in Downey, CA, who needs $2,000 for Cruciate Ligament Repair.
Downey, CA
Our family adopted Boaz to hopefully potentially be a service dog, he was in training everyday Boaz is an excited high energy dog who loves to run, wrestle, and play, he loves people. Boaz likes to run, jump and roll around a lot with other dogs. Around 8 months old we noticed he had a limp and the vet said it was a sprain and eventually he ended up tearing a ligament. Boaz loves the great outdoors, and our family is very active so to not have him come with us anywhere due to his cruciate ligament tear is heartbreaking. He only has energy to walk around the block and go potty he can’t play with other dogs because he jumps and wants to wrestle play. I do a lot of mental stimulation brain games at home. Boaz is eager to learn and is very smart. He catches on to commands quickly. Loves people. Boaz’s injury was unexpected, Boaz has not been able to enjoy his early years and we have not been able to enjoy him outdoors since he completely tore it. We love boaz and we want him to enjoy his years outside running like he use too. He ended up with cruciate ligament (fully torn ligament) on his right knee which requires surgery, he is currently on pain medication and wears a custom made brace to fit his leg every day. The brace is to basically just hold the knee in place. Boaz’s vet recommends Boaz to be seen by an animal orthopedic center. While bieng a single parent with 3 children (2 with specialized needs).. switching from Raw feeding Boaz to kibble. Funds will help cover some of the surgery costs. donations are appreciated. We do not want to rehome him. Please help Boaz
