Ophelia
Ophelia is a 8 month old Greyhound in Parker, CO, who needs $3,866 for Crown Height Reduction and Vital Pulp Treatment.
Parker, CO
Ophelia is my oops baby. She was born on my birthday. How could I say no to that adorable little face. I brought her home at Christmas when she was 8 weeks old and she fit right in providing a Greyhound bestie for my 4 year old greyhound and an adventure buddy for my Shepherd mix. She is the perfect mix of both her sisters. She is my little shadow. I can’t imagine life without her check in boops. Ophelia has an overbite and a narrow lower jaw. For her this means that her lower canines have come in on the inside of her top canines instead of outside. In order to correct this and keep her lower canines from puncturing her soft palette and damaging her upper canines she will need a crown height reduction and vital pulp therapy ASAP. This procedure can only be done by a certified dentist. Ophelia is a dramatic little menace. She may be the youngest in the pack but she makes sure everyone knows she’s there. She has often been mistaken for a husky before people see her. Ophelia is also the bravest greyhound. She is always down to meet anyone and do anything. She charges ahead to show her big sister that there is nothing to be afraid of. We have been planning and saving for this procedure since Ophelia’s adult teeth came in but last month she sustained a stifle growth plate fracture while zooming with her sister and required surgery which drained what had been saved.

Ares
Ares is a 2 year old Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) in Highlands Ranch, CO, who needs $2,000 for Root Canal Therapy.
Highlands Ranch, CO
Ares has been in my life since he was 10 weeks old he was a gift from my wife after having lost my Rottweiler a few months beforehand on my birthday. The only time he is ever away from me is when I'm at work. He also has a wonderful malinos sister that he loves playing with. Lastnight as I was going to brush his teeth I noticed that one of his canines was broken. I have his appointment on Monday to get seen and schedule his surgery for a root canal on Thursday im assuming. His appointment is at the chewy vet clinic right by my apartment. Ares is special to me because he is my best friend. I am currently training him to be my ptsd service dog. His best friend other than me is my wife's belgian Athena. He definitely loves his ball which is another reason I have to get him to the vet. I would feel so bad if he couldn't play with his favorite thing in the world anymore. Im asking for help because I'm on such a fixed income right now that I can't afford for any surprise bills. My wife has been dealing with medical issues that kept her out of work she is backcalworking now but we are trying to get out of a three year hole.

Maverick
Maverick is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in Castle Rock, CO, who needs $2,000 for Skin Growth Removal on Lower Eyelid.
Castle Rock, CO
Maverick was at Edwards Farms animal rescue in Parker, CO. My daughter did some volunteer work and we fell in love him so adopted him! He is an amazing dog and we love him so much. Maverick is a healthy chocolate lab. He has recently grown a skin growth on his eye that needs to be removed. The surgery will cost $3000 and we need help covering the cost. Maverick is such a sweet, loving, happy boy who loves my girls and our family so much! He is so friendly and wiggles his whole body when we get home from school. We would like to raise money to help with the surgery costing $3000. We can pay for some but not all so need some help. We have some support from the rescue but need to cover the cost of the rest.

Luna
Luna is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair in Lakewood, CO, who needs $2,000 for full mouth extractions.
Lakewood, CO
My last year in college, I kept saying I wanted to adopt a cat. I knew I would be moving for graduate school, so I figured I would wait. However, one day my mom called me and told me her coworkers neighbor had a pregnant cat who she stranded and left outside when she moved. My mom immediately went and took one of the kittens. She called me and told me that she had rescued a kitten from outside! In Georgia where I was living at the time, there are a lot of coyotes so she really did save her life for me. I immediately fell in love with her. Oh and by the way, we saved her on Halloween Day, so I decided her name needed to be something according and I named her Luna. Luna was estimated to be about 6 weeks at the time we rescued her. She is now about to turn 3 years old in September. Luna is not just my best friend, she saved me more than I saved her. I went through some hard times and have suffered from anxiety and depression throughout my adolescence/early adulthood. Luna is my certified emotional support animal and I don't think any animal could really define an emotional support animal more than her. She knows when I am going through hard times and will not leave my side. She will even follow me into the shower. She will not let me be alone and also cheers me up. I have all of my previous mental health issues under control and have for a while now, but Luna still always brightens my day. As a graduate student, days are long and coming home to her is the best thing and always makes my day.
