Chico
Chico is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Glendale, AZ, who needs $100 for Wound Care and X-rays.
Glendale, AZ
My sweet elderly neighbor has this sweet puppy named Chico. He got attacked by a dog who was off his leash and running around the neighborhood and it bit his leg/foot twice resulting in two puncture wounds/now infected bite. I don’t have any money to help her take him to the vet and she lives off government checks and doesn’t have a dime to her name. This is an emergency and we need to get him in! He is hurting really badly, crying and in so much pain. It’s black and is infected now. He needs to be seen immediately. Please help us! The veterinarian that’s closest to us is named Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center. He is so sweet, his sister chica is so so worried about him as are we. His wonder is a sweet elderly lady and loves her puppies. Please help us! Poor puppy!! I don’t have any money to help this sweet woman and her dog, I am just trying to find her some help. If anyone can please help us out I would be so appreciative.

Sukino
Sukino is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Mesa, AZ, who needs $4,300 for Blood Transfusions and Steroids.
Mesa, AZ
In May 2017 I was talked into going to a “puppy party” & this little guy melted my heart. Over the first week his happiness & joy brightened my life so I named him Sukino, which is Sanskrit for Joyful. I call him Kino for short & he has filled my heart and everyone he’s met with pure joy for over 8 years now. He has been my rock, my best friend, my hiking & yoga buddy… my soul mate. 🦮 ✨💖✨ 2 weeks ago Kino experienced fainting spells. After realizing it wasn’t random, I took him to Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center in Gilbert Az. Blood tests and an ultrasound showed a mild issue with his heart & regenerative anemia. My boy is suffering from not enough oxygen to his brain. He has so much love to still share. I thought, how can I help him live? 🥺 🥺I couldn’t bear to see my soul mate suffer, he’s still young! He needed a blood transfusion & more testing to find out more, and he was diagnosed with IMHA. Dr AlexAnne Weinzierl said the transfusion will help temporarily but he needs another one. He is on steroids to try to help his blood cells stop destroying themselves. After a year of financial challenges this has been the biggest one of all as I haven’t been able to save up an emergency fund. I ask of you, please help me take care of my sweet boy by contributing to his $4300 vet bill. Please help Kino bring more joy to the world 🙏.

Max
Max is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Mesa, AZ, who needs $1,979 for Diagnostic Tests, X-ray, Blood work + Titer.
Mesa, AZ
4 years ago my children and I wanted to get a dog. One night, during a rough thunderstorm, Max showed up on my cousin's doorstep, scared, cold, hungry, dirty, with matted fur & no ID. My cousin called me, we took Max to the vet to get checked out. We out up signs in her neighborhood and online. No one seemed to be looking for him. He had no chip. So we took him in and have loved him ever since. I brought Max in last night to the Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center because he had no appetite for the last 2 days. Yesterday he didn't want to drink at all, was very lethargic & had vomited. They gave him a physical exam & noted pain in his mouth & abdomen. He was dehydrated so they gave him fluids under his skin. Max is generally quiet but has always been friendly and curious. At the vet he was usually dull and still. He enjoys running and chasing games. He is best friends with my mom's dog Sabrina - an Australian Shepherd mix. We take Max with us in the car everywhere and he loves to be outside soaking in the sun or sniffing and investigating everything. 4 months ago, my family & I lost our home. We moved into the House of Refuge which doesn't allow pets so Max has been staying with my mom. This has been nice since he has companionship all day with my mom and brother being home all day with him and his best friend Sabrina.

Cheeto
Cheeto is a 2 month old American Shorthair in Chandler, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Polycythemia Vera Congenital Heart Disease.
Chandler, AZ
Cheeto came into our lives as a stray kitten. When visiting my grandparents in California back in April. They had a stray cat they took care of from time to time and she had a litter of kittens. It was love at first sight and I had to take him home. We have been together for 2 months. We have one other cat in our home. She is a beautiful calico and her name is chibi. Chibi means small in japanese. We took Cheeto to the Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center after he was lethargic and unresponsive. We had him tested and they diagnosed him with polycythemia Vera. They said due to his young age it’s likely related to a congenital heart defect. They quoted a few different care methods, but the long term solution costed around $4500. What makes Cheeto so special is his comfort and interaction with us despite being a stray. He’s so loving and always excited about cuddles and playing but his condition limits him from playing because it worsens his symptoms. Even though he can’t use too much energy he is always using it to get closer to us and find his spot to snuggle in with us. His favorite thing to do is snuggle in your neck. The three of us all work minimum wage jobs and can’t afford the procedures at this time. We are trying to save up but his condition is life threatening and we won’t be able to afford it in time. It would mean the world to us to have our baby healthy and be able to play again

Boo Parker
Boo Parker is a 12-year-old Orange Tabby Cat in Chandler, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Recovery from an Acute Kidney Attack.
Chandler
My wife has had a boo Parker since she was 12 years old she gets so much love and cuddles everyday she usually can’t sleep unless she’s under the covers getting cuddles. She will purr all day and night when she’s happy. She’s the only pet 4 years ago she lost her best friend Bell who was the dog that found her 12 years ago in a storm drain. She’s an indoor cat and has been for the past 4 years She’s a sweetheart the vets love her and say she is the most cuddly nice cat. She’s 12 so she does a lot of sleeping in her free time and her favorite thing is to beg for food whether she’s eaten or not. She’s been our emotional support when my wife and I have argued she’s the glue that brings us back together with her goofy silly nature<3 She loves playing with laser pointers and string. She loves butterfly’s and sitting by the window watching the birds! And in the middle of the night you might wake up to her chomping on some cardboard! The first vet's preliminary findings were this is maybe a cancerous process based on the Xray and her kidney values. Boo Parker was immediately rushed to the ICU in critical condition so they could start a chest tap to remove over 4 oz of fluid around her heart and lungs. They also discovered her left kidney is the size of a raisin and the right kidney is swollen fighting an infection. Our cost have piled up due to the multitude of test that they ran on her. Over 10k in test have come back with negative findings but there’s one last lymphoma test we’re waiting for. Boo Parker is our baby…and our house doesn’t feel like a home with her gone…

Layla
Layla is a 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog in Mesa, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Sepsis, Dog Bite Wound.
Mesa, AZ
Layla was found in an alleyway eating trash by my granddaughter while she was driving home from house sitting. My granddaughter took her to the vet right away to see if she was chipped and did all the necessary things needed to find her owner but, no luck. Layla became a great addition to our family 4 years ago. Even Buddy, our chihuahua loves her so much and he doesn't like many other dogs. Layla loves going on walks anywhere and everywhere. She also loves to lay in the sun and roll in the grass in our backyard. When taking naps she loves to snuggle with our cats and dog buddy. Layla is the sweetest girl I have ever met and can make friends with just about everyone. She is a kind, gentle dog. That's why our cats are ok with her. When guests visit she always goes to them to say hi. Layla is very sweet but she is definitely a character. She loves getting her pets. Whenever I am reading on the couch she will come up and bump my hand for a pet. We have many comfy dog beds at the house but, Layla thinks they are good pillows for her head. In the summer she loves to jump in sprinklers but hates the pool. She is always there to comfort someone in distress with a snuggle. When I was walking my pups in my neighborhood we got attacked by a Rottweiler that escaped from his home when the owner was doing laundry. He got Layla right on the neck. She is in the Arizona veterinary emergency & critical care center suffering from that wound and now she has fluids in her heart and abdomen. We want her to recover and come home. I am currently retired so I get a set income now. I have been dealing with heart issues meaning a lot of Dr. visits. I even fainted visiting with Layla one day the vet sent me to hospital. Layla use to help with my stress.I MISS HER and want to get her the care she deserves.
