Edward
Help Edward get Emergency surgery and overnight care — Virginia Beach, VA
Virginia Beach, VA
Edward is the sweetest baby!! I got him just a few months ago when his previous owner wanted to abandon him. He has a bonded brother that is very worried about him. He has an expanded bladder and kidney failure. My baby has been throwing up and unable to urinate. The vet is clearing his bladder and he is peeing blood. This cat saved my life. I was at my lowest point in my life when I decided to get him as a last hope. He could sense my depression and has continued to bring in joy like no human ever has He needed emergency surgery that drained my account. The vet needs to do another one and keep him for the next two nights for $2500. I know it doesn’t sound like a lot but as someone who has to take care of my own medical bills, and this unplanned trip, I no longer have that

Lyla
Help Lyla get Open exploratory surgery — Suffolk, VA
Suffolk, VA
Lyla is a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois and so much more than a dog—she is my best friend, my daughter’s protector, and a deeply loved member of our family. She is sweet, funny, loyal, loves treats and loves to follow us around everywhere we go. We adopted her from a rescue and she had been our biggest blessing and saved us when we didn't know we needed saving. Lyla has a blockage in her stomach and small intestine. She urgently needs an open exploratory surgery, X-rays, and hospitalization afterward so the veterinary team can monitor her and make sure she is stable enough to come home. Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital is providing her care. Lyla is so much more than a dog—she is my best friend, my daughter’s protector, and a deeply loved member of our family. She has family, well beyond just her immediate family, who love her and want her to return home safe and healthy. We simply do not have the extra funds to cover an emergency like this. The cost of this unexpected surgery/hospitalization is more than our family can manage without significant financial hardship. Any amount can bring her home to her little human sister!

Help Lyla get Open exploratory surgery — Suffolk, VA
Suffolk, VA
Lyla is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois who is my best friend. I adopted her from a rescue after she was left on the streets to die at 5 weeks old. She follows me around and loves me and my daughter almost as much as we love her. Her human sister needs her to come home safe and healthy with the help of anyone who can assist. She is funny, outgoing, loves her 2 furry siblings and will eat any treats! She has a blockage of her stomach (unsure of any intestinal involvement). She needs open exploratory surgery, x-ray, and hospitalization afterwards just to make sure she is stable to go home the next day. It is Bay Beach Veterinary Emergency Hospital. She came to us at a low point in our lives. She helped us just as much as we helped her. She came to us at 5 weeks old off the streets and almost died. We took her in to save her life and by doing that she saved ours. She follows me around everywhere with so much love and will lay next to our daughter with so much love in her heart to give. My daughter absolutely adores her. We need her to live! I have no extra funds to pay for this and this will put me, my husband and our daughter into so much debt. Any support during this time will be the difference between living decently comfortable with our daughter or struggling for several months or more.
