I adopted Miles from BENCHS alongside his brother Riker in 2022. The two of them are extremely bonded and have given me so much more than I expected in the four years since I picked them up. Miles has recently begun vomiting and not eating. A mass was identified in his abdomen that needs an ultrasound and surgery. If he continues to reject food, he could develop comorbidities like fatty liver disease. Miles is a truly compassionate animal, he helps us in our darkest moments and shows more love to Siobhan and I then we ever knew could come from a cat. I am currently seeking employment. We had been saving for a trip this month, but we have cancelled it because of Mile's needs. Our trip funds were used up when the mass was checked out and we have been referred to a specialist that will cost thousands more.

Gunner was abandoned by his original owner 3 years ago so i took him in and cared for him. He has become my best friend and honestly my entire world. He is the sweetest little guy, i thank god everyday that he is in my life. He is truly my angel. Gunner tore his Cranial Cruciate Ligament in his right rear leg while we were at the dog park. He cannot put very much weight on his leg, limps badly, and shakes at times when it really hurts. I brought him to BluePearl Pet Hospital in Golden Valley, MN, and Dr. Jeff Yu said that he would require TPLO surgery. Gunner (I call him Gunny) is truly 1 of 1. I've dealt with depression my entire life, but a few years ago, things were particularly low, and I often thought of suicide. But that's when Gunner came into my life. He changed my entire world. I thank god everyday for him. He is the kindest soul that ive ever known and watching him in pain is ripping me apart. I hate asking for help, but I live paycheck to paycheck and just barely get by, and do not have any savings at all. I've tried applying for Care Credit, and they denied me. I don't know what else to do

Maple is my college sons kitten. He wanted a fur baby friend while he is away from home from our family cats. He missed them so much he had to get one for himself! He loves his fur baby so much, she has been such a joy for him and a good homework/video game buddy! Weds 11/19 Maple has been breathing 90-100 breaths per min, she is wheezing, crackles and very lethargic. She isnt eating. Blue pearl hospital gave her a diuretic shot and antibiotics to treat possible pnuemonia. She needs labs and xray but those two things cost 1700 which my son doesnt have. They are unsure if its heart failure or not. She needs to be on oxygen which we dont have. Maple became apart of the family. We are a big family of 6 and all my boys adore her. My college kiddo and his roomates all love her. She is very spunky, busy and fun! She loves to play and play video games with my son haha. She even chases things on the tv when they are watching tv. Its super cute and funny. My son is a full time college student who is double majoring, wokring full time and a track athlete along with being a kitty parent. He has limited funds after he pays his bills and groceries. Being we are a bigger family, financials are tight for us as well.

Hello! My name is Chad and this is my princess, Sunny. She has been in my life for going on ten years and hopefully more. The two of us, along with her Uncle Nick, have been through a lot. And now, Sunny is needing to have an MRI done to find out what is wrong with her. Since the day I got her, she has been my life, my everything. Now, she is sick and I don’t know exactly why. it's some kind of neurological event, and an MRI is necessary to establish the exact cause. It’s hard to watch her go through these episodes not knowing exactly how they are affecting her. whether it’s in pain or uncomfortable or scared. She loses use of her hind legs and eventually her whole body goes limp and it’s even hard to hold her head up and her tongue will hang out and then she whimpers. She has helped me go through so much being by my side giving me love and affection when i needed it the most. She has tons of energy and loves to go on walks she will lick you for hours thank goodness i am not a sucker otherwise i would not be here. She loves her grandma and grandpa and her uncles and aunts. She will do what she needs to do to protect them she is very loyal and loving. I unfortunately lost my job about two weeks before this all started. Over the course of three years, I had to have four consecutive back surgeries. and it destroyed me financially. She been there for me every second of my life and now I am trying to be there for her.

She starts to drag he hind legs as she is not able to use them. She is going to go to BluePearl Pet Hospital to see a neurologist. She has been my savory my world she has been my partner in crime ever since the day i met her. She has helped me become the person i am today. She is my little shadow watching over me making sure i am ok. She has so much energy and sass her favorite toy to play with is lamb chop. She loves her grandma, grandpa and uncle She’s affectionate, she also barks a lot to let me know if somebody’s there. i had 4 back surgeries in the last 3 years and I last my job due to this. Receiving the help that she needs would mean the world to me. When she’s has an episode she’s confused and scared. To see her not have to go through this with be the best thing.

Mya is a fun loving husky. She's can't put weight on her leg, she normally plays tug a war or chaves tennis balls, chases squirrels and bunnies, but has never caught one to date. Mya has a torn acl. She will need surgery. She was running around and jump on yhe sofa. She screamed in pain. I got her comfortable and the next morning I broght her in. The trays came back as a torn acl. Mya loves almost anyone. Love over dogs...well most of them. She is the very emotionally connected to us. She is the light of our lives even when she is being a pain. But we wouldn't change her at all. We just don't have the cost of the surgery. I want to be able to give mya the best life she can have for the rest of her life. We want our Mya back. We've done everything we can to keep her happy

Hope was a rescue and was found in a remote area in Northern Minnesota. She was approximately 5 weeks old at the time and is the runt of 11 puppies 9 of which are still living. She stayed with the family who had found her but they felt they didn't have adequate time to spend with her so they posted on fb she was available to a good home. I saw her and fell in love. Hope has hydrocephalus a neurological condition that requires a surgical shunt to be placed. Without surgery she may only have 5 months with surgery she has a good prognosis of a healthy life up to 10 years. Hope is a sweet snuggly puppy who struggles with her vision she Likes to play with her 2 cat companions (that she thinks are puppies) and her 14 yr old boy she loves other dogs but seems timid with loud noises and things she isnt familiar with. she is a little different than most dogs because of her condition but she doesnt have a mean bone in her body favorite food is oatmeal we call it hopemeal. Last year was a tough year for Tristan and I. His father's house burnt down a week before Christmas. I lost my fiancé (Tristans step dad) and I'm trying to stay caught up with bills but the adjustment has been hard and after loosing my dog ziggy after 16 years. I need HOPE!
