Crumb

Crumb is a 13 year old Mix-Breed in Raleigh, NC, who needs $10,000 for Tumor Removal and Emergency Spay.

Raleigh, NC

Crumb was adopted from a farm in Four Oaks, NC in 2013. She was the runt and so tiny she fit in the palm of a hand; that's how she got her name. Unable to suckle with her siblings, we had to bottle-feed. She cried the whole ride home but settled into a clothes basket where she slept her first 3 months. After 10 years in a single-wide, we bought a house in 2023 so she’d have more space and a yard. We took Crumb to the vet in February 2026 for allergies because she was very itchy. During the exam, the vet found a large tumor on her rear. Further testing revealed another possible mass near her spleen. At BluePearl, specialists confirmed the rear/vaginal tumor, but the second “tumor” turned out to be an ovarian cyst after additional testing. We were quoted 7.5-10k initially to remove the mass. Crumb has been with us through many trials and has never wavered in her love. She’s always a joy to come home to. In 2020, mom was furloughed and stayed home with Crumb while the world shut down. When not with her parents, she spent time with grandpa, who passed in April 2024, and visited him for a long time that last day. Now she stays with grandma when both parents are working. We already paid for surgery to remove 3 small mammary tumors in September 2025. Since then, we’ve spent about 2.5k on testing for this new set of tumors. We’re also facing a hospital bill from Mom’s ER visit, Mom’s dental work, Dad’s car repairs, plus regular bills.

Keelo

Keelo is a 3 Year Old American Pit Bull Terrier in Cameron, NC, Who Needs $2,000 for SA Chemo Treatment (Doxorubicin).

Cameron, NC

We met Keelo in Jan 2021 after a relative offered us a puppy. He was the only tan one and came home on Apr 3. We named him Keelo on the way to Walmart for his stuff. He’s been with us 3.5 years. Lala (his gf) joined a year earlier and has been with us 4.5 years. They had puppies, and one, Milo, stayed with family. As Milo grew and Keelo got sick, they began to clash, so we keep them apart for now. On July 30, 2025, Keelo received a diagnosis of stage 3-5A lymphoma cancer. I would like for him to receive SA chemo treatment every three weeks with four to five months of remission. Keelo was going to the Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Cary with Dr. Karri Miller. I do plan on giving him at home remedies for longer remission. His human mother (my gf) is Keelos' favorite person. He will immediately take my place and cuddle under his mother as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. Keelo despises summertime and being outside in the heat. Keelo's bunny-like hops make me smile when he runs. I found it funny that Keelo would bring you his dog bowl when he was hungry. Keelo is not an aggressive dog; he loves people. I worked for a trucking company that paid well and helped me care for Keelo, but I quit when they mismanaged my finances. Issues with my CDL followed, and now I’m trying to fix them with no income, debts to pay, and Keelo’s health still my priority.

Kainoa

Kainoa is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Raleigh, NC, who needs $6,000 for CHOP Treatment for Lymphoma.

Raleigh, NC

Ten years ago, Kainoa bounded into our lives as a loyal, energetic puppy. Our three children adored him instantly, making our family complete. Now facing his lymphoma diagnosis, we're devastated and struggling with treatment decisions and financial burden. But Kainoa teaches us daily courage - to love fiercely despite uncertainty, find joy in each moment, and face tomorrow together as a family. Kainoa is being treated for lymphoma at BluePearl Pet Hospital. Treatments for his cancer will be costly. Kainoa's instant loyalty made our family complete. He comforts us when sad, bonds deeply with our children as their confidant and playmate, and brings pure joy to every moment. Through ten years of birthdays, difficulties, and daily life, he's taught us unconditional love and what it means to be a family. Our beloved Kainoa, 10, has lymphoma. Chemo could give him years more, but costs $3,000-$6,000. Any amount will make a difference and helps save our precious family member.

Blue

Blue is a 7 year old Golden Retriever in Durham, NC, who needs $2,000 for LOPP Chemotherapy Protocol for T-Cell Lymphoma.

Durham, NC

After many years of struggling and saving we finally were able to get a house of our own and this past November. It took a couple more months of fixing up to be safe to live in but in January of 2025 we finally had a home and Blue got his own yard to play in for the first time in his life. We were thrilled to be able to finally offer blue more than just part of a shared home. Blue was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma in early July and began chemotherapy July 10th. He is being treated by the Oncology team at Blue Pearl of Cary to extend his quality and quantity of life. His life expectancy without treatment is 1-3 mo and with treatment 6-9 mo. Without treatment to manage his symptoms he will likely begin to feel very sick in a matter of weeks from the aggressive cancer. The first night Blue was with us was the first night he ever spent without his litter mates around him. I slept on the floor with my fingers through the crate bars so he could sleep with his tiny head resting against me. He has always been exuberant, overflowing with eagerness and joy and steadfast beside us through any tears. He tries with his whole being and loves without reservation. Ava lost her job in early April and we had already been under significant financial strain before getting this diagnosis. The only way to keep him comfortable and give him back any time is through expensive chemotherapy treatments and supportive diet and medications.

Petals

Petals is a 2 month old Maltese in Whitsett, NC, who needs $2,000 for Admission and Liver Shunt Surgery.

Whitsett, NC

My daughter and I got Petals 2 weeks ago. We have been rescuing dogs all our lives however when we wanted to rescue another we were refused because our other disabled puppy is not spayed. So we got Petals. She lives with us in our apartment with my other puppy Helena. They are the best of buds/sisters. We love Petals so much from the moment we saw her. She is so tiny. So sweet. So smart. Loveable. Petals has been admitted to the veterinary hospital 4 times since I got her. She has been vomiting, bobbing her head, wrenching. She vomited so much she now has aspiration pneumonia and is on antibiotics. Now they are saying she may have a liver shunt which requires surgery. She is currently admitted to Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital. It is getting very expensive. I have no more money for her care Petals is a beautiful baby. She loves to play with her sister Helena, a maltipoo. She is so sweet and so tiny. She learns quick the commands I give her. She is a snuggle bug. She has soulful eyes. She is very vocal when she wants something. She has a Cinderella toy that she loves to play with. She loves to play tag with us. Everyone who sees her falls in love with her. I’m on disability. I have lupus and Parkinson’s. I have so far used whatever money I have. Credit cards, cash, and even my debit card. I have no more money. With her 4 hospital visits and stays, my money has dried out. I am panicking about her continuing care.

Tobi

Tobi is a 4-year-old Domestic Short Hair Cat in Raleigh, NC, who needs $2,000 for Abdominal Surgery.

Raleigh, NC

I got Tobi when I was at one of my lowest points in life and just wanted someone to come home to. As soon as I met Tobi, I knew he was coming home with me. I felt like he chose me, and I chose him. Tobi is my only pet and he is 4 years old. He loves people and is the sweetest cat I have ever met. He enjoys sitting on the cat tree to look at birds, playing with his toys, and most of all eating! Tobi loves my mom, and he's a real people person, quite the charmer! All my friends love him. On rainy days he'll wait for me to turn on the TV, so I can play bird watching videos. He can be a bit mischievous as I said, he loves food! If I'm cooking or eating he's right by my side, and even though I know it's because he wants to steal my food I think it's because he enjoys my company. I've always had dogs growing up, so Tobi was my first cat. Sometimes we play fetch or people watch. When I visit my mom, he likes to antagonize the dog, Nutmeg. They'll play during the day, but once it gets late both of them will be curled up on the couch together. Sometimes Tobi will sit like a human, or clean himself with his legs in the air. He's got a great sense of humor for sure. Tobi has had FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) since before I adopted him, however, he can still live a long happy life with it. Recently, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis and after an ultrasound they found a blockage in his gall bladder. If he does not get better in a couple of days, he will need surgery. The surgery would be done at BluePearl Pet Hospital where he has been treated somewhat. Unfortunately, the surgery would cost $4,000 to $5,000. I cannot afford that, and I do not even have that amount in my account. I have already spent $2,000 for treatment. I go to school thanks to financial aid, but I lost my job after the holidays due to it closing down.

Jake

Jake is an 11-year-old Chihuahua in Chesapeake , VA, who needs $2,000 for a CT scan.

Chesapeake, VA

Jake is fighting a rare form of cancer and needs your help! Gabriella A., Jake's human mom, got heartbreaking news in March. Her beloved dog had an orbital meningioma. The tumor was in his left eye, which was surgically removed. Now Jake needs a CT scan to ensure no cancer was left behind. If there is residual cancer, Jake will require radiation treatments. Gabriella paid for all of Jake's initial testing and surgery, and now she's struggling to pay for his scan. "Jake's scan will cost $3,500," she says. "We need assistance with the rest as his surgery, and other vet bills were very expensive and unexpected. It would mean the world to us for Jake to be cancer free once again so he can continue living happily!"
