Salem
Salem is a 7 month old Pekingese in Graniteville, SC, who needs $2,000 for Tibia Surgery.
Graniteville, SC
After years of asking my husband for a Pekingese puppy, he finally surprised my daughter and I with Salem. We got him for Christmas 2023, and we fell in love with him instantly! Salem was running along the back of our couch with our 3 year old daughter when he fell off and now has a fractured tibia. The only way to fix his broken leg is for him to have surgery at Capital Animal Hospital in Columbia, SC. The surgery is estimated to be between $3400-3600. Salem is the most loving little puppy in the world. He loves children and our almost 13 year old Rottweiler, Jynx is his best friend. He loves to eat anything he can find, run around with the kids, and snuggle up and give kisses. With the vet expenses being so high and unexpected, we would appreciate absolutely any help to get our puppy his surgery to let him run and play again.

Paisley
Paisley is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Orangeburg , SC, who needs $2,000 for Patella Luxation and ACL Tear.
Orangeburg, SC
Hi I would like to introduce everyone to Paisley. She came into our lives a year ago. It was during a very emotional and stressful time in our lives. We were moving, getting married, and dealing with my husband’s mom being sick. I had a Cavalier King Charles, who is my heart her name is Luna. She was being left alone more than I wanted her to be so I wanted to get her a playmate. About 6 months ago Paisley started limping with her left leg, So I took her to my local vet and he wanted to refer her to an orthopedic veterinarian. When I took her to Carolina Animal Hospital I was told she had a torn ACL/CCL so she had to have surgery. Paisley loves her “Binky” which is her stuffed duck. She is such a lover, everyday when I get home she greets me with a hug it’s so sweet!! She also loves her big sister Luna. This is a very unexpected surgery for me and I really want my baby to be able to live a full life with no pain. I just started a new job so my finances are tight.

Bailey
Bailey is a 5 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd in Evans, GA, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.
Evans, GA
We got Bailey, our now 5yr old mini aussie, when I took my husband to Cherokee & Highlands for a Father's day trip. This is where this little 9 week old ball of aussie fluff suckered us into taking her home. Little did we know she would turn into a parkur jumping TRex with IBS within one week & the personality of Joan Jett lol. I fell completely in love with my little mini me &so did her sister. Bailey was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 3 yrs old &she's had multiple problems with her knees & joints. She recently injured her knee &hip jumping up too fast when she heard a noise in the kitchen &now the vet says she needs surgery. She's seeing the orthopedic surgeon Tuesday the 16th of April. The surgeries will be costly &we are trying to raise as much money as possible to help pay for them. Bailey has the biggest personality I've ever seen in a dog. She loves her stuffed elephant. Loves her pittmix sister. Loves to give 5s, can give real hugs, ecspecially when she gets in trouble lol. She's happy all the time. Very much acts like a crazy mini aussie, if you've ever had one then you know lol. She's a mama's girl &only cuddles with mama. LOVES her snacks. Adores her groomer. My husband is 70 &retired &I have alot of health problems that keep me from working with alot of medical bills we are trying to pay off. My husband is talking about having Bailey put down if her surgery is too much this is why I'm making this campaign. I can't lose my baby.

Shiloh
Shiloh is a 9-month-old Pit Boxer Mix in Bethune , SC, who needs $2,000 for Distal Femur Fracture Repair.
Bethune, SC
I got Shiloh when he was 6 weeks. The person who had him before was a drug addicted. Shiloh was so tiny and skinny. I remember after I got him I went straight to a store and bought some food for him. He ate it like it was his first meal. lol now he is such a big boy. Shiloh is so loving and friendly. He loves to be around other people, and also loves other animals, cats as well. He is so playful with everyone. He loves to be rubbed on his tummy and if I stop he gives me that look like ummm please don’t stop. Shiloh is my comfort and knows when I’m sad. He will come to me and look at me and put his paw on my to rub him. He loves to sit right next to me and watch tv. He loves to play catch the ball and go for walks in the park. On February 27th I left to go to work, when I received a call telling me that Shiloh got loss and was hit by a car. My heart had stopped and I turned around to go back home. My baby was bleeding and cut up all over. I just started to cry and drove for hours to find a vet who would care for him. I was told that he needs surgery and that I would have to pay upfront for it. I am staying with someone else until I can afford to get my own place. I am living check to check, paying other bills. I tried different petcare credit agencies but I got denied. My heart is broken because I can’t afford to get my baby Shiloh what he needs ( surgery).

Tundra
Tundra is a 9-year-old Siberian Husky in Lexington, SC, who needs $2,000 for Limb Amputation.
Lexington, SC
Tundra is a 9 year old Husky that I rescued on Jan 1, 2017. At the time, I was living in an apartment in Charlotte NC and was looking for a roommate. I came across Tundra on a rescue website and contacted the rescue. She brought him out to meet me and I adopted him on the spot. We now live in Lexington SC with my husband, mother in law and 3 other furbabies. Tundra is quite the character. He joined the family in 2017 and when my husband and I moved in together we added my husband's 2 cats to our mix. In 2021 we had to put our eldest cat down due to age (he was 21 years old) and in 2022 we brought in another rescue, a 3 month old Shorkie named Maverick. Maverick and Tundra are the best of friends and spend all of their days together. Tundra is a Husky which means he LOVES to talk. Usually when I don't want him to haha. He gets super excited when Dad gets home from work and will stand at the window and howl and talk until Dad comes in and loves on him. He will tell me all about it to procure a treat from me. He does NOT like fireworks and hates it when people in our neighborhood shoot them off. He loves to run and play fetch. In October 2023 I noticed a lump on Tundra's leg. It wasn't very big and I wasn't overly concerned. I took him to the vet to look at it and they drew a sample. It came back cancerous. We met with Oncology at CVETS and they stated that he will need his leg amputated in order to save him. They provided me an estimate for the amputation and said that the surgery would most likely be curative. 2023 was not our year - April my husband had a stroke; July AC went out; Oct Tundra diagnosed with cancer and Dec I lost my job. If Tundra's diagnosis was fatal I would do everything I could to make him comfortable till the end, but this surgery can save his life.

Emerson Olivia
Emerson Olivia is a 5-month-old Boxer/Pit Mix in Bishopville, SC, who needs $1,000 for Orthopedic Surgery.
Bishopville, SC
A co-worker shared with me that her best friends had a litter of puppies that he wanted to give away. She had pictures of the pups and I was smitten! I knew right away that I wanted one, but I didn't know which one. I met with the owner of the pups and he introduced me to them. They were all so adorable. I randomly picked one and that's how I got my sweet girl Emerson Olivia! She's a sweetheart. Emerson has her own room. She has all of her toys in there. Oftentimes, she will sneak into my bedroom and belly crawl under my bed. When family and friends come over, she gets really excited. Emerson is very friendly and never meets a stranger. My family and friends adore Emerson. Even their pets love her. She can be silly from time to time, but she is an absolute sweet girl. Emerson's personality is very lovable. She enjoys playing in the yard or on the porch. She will play with just about anything! There was an old plastic cup on the porch. When Emerson found it, you would think that t was the best thing in the world. As silly as she can be, she is a little scary. Watching her run from a leaf being blown by the wind was hilarious! Then she tried to play with it. One evening while Emerson was playing in the yard, she started chasing something and ran out into the road. A car hit her and kept going. When I saw her, her mouth was bloody and I noticed that she was only walking on 3 legs. She has a broken femur in her right hind leg that needs a pin in it to heal properly. This accident was unexpected. Currently I'm unable to pay for the cost of surgery. I was recently out of work due to having COVID and that kind of set me back financially. I want my sweet girl to have the best chance at healing. It wouldn't be fair to compromise her health.

Mister
Mister is a 9-year-old Mixed Breed Dog in Columbia, SC, who needs $2,000 for Radius/Ulna Fracture Repair.
Columbia, SC
Mister was found on the side of the road by a friend of a friend. She reached out to one of my closest friends and asked if she knew of anyone that could take in a small puppy that was clearly full of worms due to the size of his belly. Fast forward to today, you can find him downtown columbia at brunch spots, hanging out of my car, and sun bathing at the lake. I didn’t know how bad i needed him. Mister was my second rescue dog and by far the easiest animal i have ever cared for. All he ever does, since i got him at only 12 pounds, is sleep and cuddle. Lately i have been devastated thinking that is because he has been in pain. When he was small, he would run with his friends and play for short periods but he’s never been extremely active. I want to meet mister at his full potential. ❤️ My mister is so special to me because he brings me happiness every single day without even trying. I can watch him walk around interacting with others for hours because he’s just too funny. Mister has always been extremely clumsy, and now it makes complete sense. I’ve watched Mister lose his humor in the last few months. He is extremely inactive/ refuses to go outside. I can’t lose his personality I originally thought that Mister was just bow legged, but i decided to take him in because it seemed like a bigger problem. his front legs would give out when he runs and he has recently started crying when he tries to play with his brother. He was diagnosed with angular limb deformity and will be having correctional surgery at Capital Animal Hospital on July 19th if i can raise $ Mister’s surgery is estimated at 3,900 and I am only 24 with two dogs and a lot of bills. I pay for everything on my own and work full time to do this. I have already spent over 1,000 on diagnosis and i’m terrified of not being able to come up with another 4,000 to fix him.

Bella
Bella is a 1-year-old Yorkie Terrier in Irmo, SC, who needs $1,800 for Femur Fracture.
Irmo, SC
I purchased Bella in August 2020 from a loving pet breeder family In Georgia for my daughters birthday! Before leaving she was vaccinated with the appropriate vaccines and sent home with a nice care package! She was so small we was able to put in our pockets to carry her around LOL! Bella have been such a charm to us and will protect us from any and everybody that comes close to us… She brings so much joy to my household and family, likes to eat what the kids eat, take naps through out the day in our bed or couches whichever soothes her the best! I’m not gonna say she’s aggressive but she can get to that point if she thinks the kids are upset and angry with each other.. She’s overall a Happy Little Fur Baby that we love! Due to this pandemic and my household budget I can’t afford the full cost of Bella’s Surgery. I was able to get her seen at Banfield Hospital in which they provided X-rays, and sent home on high dosage pain meds until procedure can get done She was born a healthy 1lb yorkie… about 2 weeks ago Bella and my son was in the living room eating breakfast, she accident snuggled under his back and while he was getting up he accidentally slipped and sat on her. She was treat at Banfield Hospital and given X-rays which determined she had a fracture femur bone needed surgery She likes to run around throughout house playing with toys, and any kids that come in contact with her! When driving she like to climb around my neck, look out the window( we find this hilarious)…Every night when before bed she will jump in my bed and snuggle under me or find a soft comforting spot in middle of bed.
