Luna
Luna is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Garland, TX, who needs $850 for Amputation.
Garland, TX
We have 4 dogs and 5 outside cats that we take care of, Luna being one of them. Luna was born on our front porch a year ago by one of our other outside cats and I've been taking care of her and the other outside cats by myself. I've just gotten all of the female cats spayed including Luna. Luna before the incident wouldn't leave our front porch but since her injury she stays inside with me now. Luna is in need of a major surgery. Amputation of her front left arm. About two weeks ago I took her to the vet to find out she has 3 broken bones and no feeling at all in that arm. The vet recommended that I have the arm amputated. I found a vet hospital that will help me with her amputation at a fair price. CHEW Animal Hospital in Dallas. Luna has always been the most lively and curious cat. She's always into something or playing with anything she can make a toy. Even a dandelion! She's very sweet too, she will never reject the offer for affection and she makes her appreciation known by how loud she purrs. Luna has stayed indoors consistently since the incident so I'm still introducing her to our other dogs, but so far so good. I still live at home with my mom and siblings and help with paying bills and everything that my mom and the animals may need. This was VERY sudden and unexpected and my family isn't able to add any additional funds towards this so it's all on me to try and help Luna asap!

Puppy Perales
Puppy Perales is a 3 year old Chihuahua in Dallas, TX, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Dallas, TX
On Friday, March 6th, a woman came into my place of work with a puppy she had found lying outside our cemetery grounds. She was unable to care for him and ultimately surrendered him to us. I immediately took the puppy to the nearest veterinary clinic for an evaluation. X-rays revealed that he had a broken leg, along with other possible injuries and determined that surgery is needed. We've done everything we can, but we simply don't have the resources to cover the full amount on our own. Chew Animal Clinic has provided the following quote: $1750 surgery $90 bloodwork $85 neuter Despite his injuries, he is a healthy, resilient puppy with a sweet and loving spirit. He eagerly seeks affection and never turns down pets or cuddles. And honestly, he deserves so much more. We know times are tough, but any contribution will help. Our only goal is to give this lil guy a chance at a normal life. We would like to than Jennifer Weller and Animal Rescue of Texas, who have been an incredible source of guidance and support. Thank you.

Briley
Briley is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in McKinney , TX, who needs $3,040 for Cranial Cruciate ligament (CCL) tear.
McKinney, TX
Briley is a year and a half boxer mix who was abandoned at just 16 weeks old. She is a ball of light and just wants to give love all of the time. She loves to play fetch and jump around with her sister. Unfortunately while playing with her sister, she jumped off the couch, slipped and tore her left knee and partially tore her right knee. When it first happened I thought she just had a sprain, but when it wasn’t getting any better I took her to CHEW, and they advised the injury was more serious. Both knees will require surgery with the left being a priority. Briley love to play with a Frisbee, play tug with her sister and run around in the backyard. With her lovable personality, she was starting training to be a therapy/service dog. Unfortunately with her injury, she is uncomfortable to walk, can’t play Frisbee like she used to and her training has been put on hold. The injuries came at the worst time. Even though I make a good salary, I have fallen into a financial hole that I am working a second job to get out of. Unfortunately the first surgery is going to be $3,040 to which I do not have. I have been denied every loan request.

Apollo
Apollo is a 1 Year Old Weimaraner in Frisco , TX, Who Needs $1,833 for Exploratory Surgery.
Frisco, TX
Apollo came to us as a gift. The greatest gift our family has received. We got him as a baby and have had him since. He is now a year and 10 months. He is our first and only dog, and he has brought so much joy into our life. Since we saw him as a light in our life we decided to name him Apollo, after the Greek god. He is such a sweet dog how has bounds of energy and affection. Right now apollo requires Exploratory surgery to investigate an ongoing problem he has had since September of this year (2025). We are hoping this gives us the answers we need to help Apollo get better. We just want our happy boy back. Apollo loves food and tug of war. He loves to run and play, especially with other dogs! He has so much life in him and even now when he can’t do what he once could he still has not lost his luster. During his first winter last year he could not get enough of the snow, I have hope he will be able to have just as much fun this year! I am currently in between jobs trying to find one that pays more. My mother passed away in 2020 and since then I have been taking care of my siblings. I have spent my savings on Apollos testing and medications and need help paying for this surgery. Any help is appreciated!

Kira
Kira is a 9 month old American Shorthair in Carrollton, , who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Carrollton
We adopted Kira from a shelter back in March of 2025. She is our first cat ever and she loves playing with out two year old. She hangs out around the apartment and is so sweet and loving. She loves play fighting with our toddler. During one of the playfights, our toddler hopped off the couch and landed on her arm breaking her humerus bone. We spent the money we could so she could visit an emergency clinic but ultimately, she will need surgery or amputation. Not sure what the surgery costs but were told it could be a couple thousand. She is our first ever cat we owned and is not even a year old. My child loves her very much and we have been deeply saddened by the situation. We do not know what to do or how to even proceed knowing we cannot cover the cost of the surgery. Exploring any options we find online or through the clinic. I make enough for us to get by while my wife stays home to watch our child. We also are currently sharing one vehicle as well. It would mean the world to us if we could find financial help for our fur baby. We don't know the amount of the surgery but will find out soon.

Muffin
Muffin is a 5 year old Dachshund in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,500 for Cystotomy.
Dallas, TX
adopted my dog when she was just a tiny puppy, and she’s been my best friend ever since. It’s just the two of us, and she’s been my emotional support through nursing school and tough times. I named her muffin because we always joked she looked like a little loaf of bread. She’s playful, smart, and truly part of my family. A year ago, muffin started peeing red, and the vet diagnosed her with bladder stones. I’ve tried the prescription food, but it hasn’t worked. The vet now says surgery is needed to remove the stones and stop her pain. I’m terrified of losing her because she’s still young and full of life, and I just want to help her get better and I know it’s small fix but I don’t have the money. Muffin is the happiest, most loving dog I’ve ever met. She loves cuddles, chasing her favorite squeaky toy, and watching me cook and sing. She’s gentle with everyone she meets and always seems to know when I need snuggles. Her little tail wags and loving nature make every hard day better. She’s my heart in dog form. I’m a full-time student living on my own, and lately it’s been hard to keep up with bills. My rent is my concern I don’t want to risk eviction. I’ve been saving every bit I can for her surgery, but I just can’t reach the amount needed.Getting this help would mean so much.

Nya
Nya is a 12 year old Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,750 for Splenectomy.
Dallas, TX
We brought Nya home from Foster care about 12 years ago. She lives in our home with our 2 year old German Shepard. She's taken the role of the Alpha over our German Shepard Dolly, and their cousin who frequently visits for play dates, Rosie. My family shares a soft spot for Anya as she’s an important member of our family since the day we brought her home. Problems started about a month ago, including things like vomiting, choosing not to eat her food, or generally being picky about food she usually enjoyed in the past. After a vet visit with normal blood work we took her home. 2 weeks later she started to choose to not eat. Continued vomiting and diharrea. We brought her to the vet again for x-rays to discover a large mass on her spleen. Our Nya was raised by our former cat as a puppy, giving her goofy, cat-like tendencies growing up. She enjoyed cuddling, chasing squirrels in our back yard, acting as our trusted alternative doorbell. Shes afraid of thunder but fearlessly barks at the TV when something catches her eye. Nya helped raise our German Shepard, Dolly, and even taught her to bark at all the odd things she chooses bark at This came as an unexpected expense where I have no savings and am unable to provide any funds for emergency care with my current finances to help Nya with surgery, treatment, or pallatative care.

King Choppa came into my life at the age of 3 weeks and was a rescue during difficult period of my life. Willy
Willy is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Cedar Hill, TX, who needs $240 for Pathology Specimen Exam.
Cedar Hill, TX
I fostered Willy from Dallas animal services. After fostering him for several months I came to love him because he is such a sweet natured, loving & obedient dog. He's also SO beautiful & handsome too. I couldn't believe anyone wouldn't want this wonderful boy so I adopted him. I only have my disability)SSI, & until this medical situation came up we were ok. But now I really need help. Between the vet's charity program, the SPCA, my check, & friend's help, Willy has now had his surgery. But I still need $240 for his pathology exam from the surgery & only have till Thurs this week for it to be done. Otherwise I won't know what these masses were I love him so much & he's so young. He deserves a chance to be treated for whatever caused these masses. I'm scared because my heart will be completely broken if I can't get him the help he needs, I don't think I can live without him(can't stand idea of losing or giving him up just so he can get medical care). But he deserves better than this. He's my emotional support animal. IDK what to do. I live off of SSDI and SSI. I just really don't think I can handle him not getting medical care because of my lack of finances for esp because this is not a usual medical problem in such a young dog.

Honey
Honey is a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Lake Dallas, TX, who needs $2,000 for Consult, Blood Work, Mass Removal & Biopsy.
Lake Dallas, TX
My baby, Honey, is six years old. I rescued her on a very rainy evening after she escaped from a pit breeding ring. She always watches out for her Chihuahua brother, Chillee Arthur. Once, she protected my home during a break in. We live in Lake Dallas. Dr. Waite at Mid Cities Animal Urgent Care Center diagnosed Honey with a tumor on her back left leg this past Sunday. She believes it is cancerous. Dr. Waite recommends having the tumor removed via surgery & sent off for a biopsy. I have an appointment on Saturday with Texas Foundation for a second opinion. I am requesting financial assistance for the appointment, bloodwork, surgery, & a biopsy. Honey's favorite game is "chase stick," and she loves playing it together at the lake. She is extremely protective of me. She is energetic around my close friends and family. I love lying my head across her midsection while we take a nap together. One cute behavior is she loves to rock in my recliner before winding down for bed. This is an unexpected expense, and unfortunately, I do not have pet insurance nor savings. I also did not qualify for Care Credit. Rent is due and I am having trouble paying bills. I cannot afford medical treatment, and the vet wants to have surgery sooner than later.

Marble is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Richardson, TX, who needs $400 for Treatment for Persistent Vomiting.

We currently live in a house with 2 other cats. She cries out when she is going to throw up. Marble cannot hold any food on her stomach. She keeps throwing up. I don't have a car and have limited income. I would like to take her to Chew Animal Clinic. Marble has toys and gets along with other animals. She is not afraid of thunder. She is a Calico/Torti mix and very pretty. She likes to be around my women friends. Living on Social Security with no help from my family. It would mean a lot to me to have Marble healthy again. She has been throwing up a lot lately and needs to be seen by a vet.

Pac
Pac is a 6-year-old Shitzu in Mesquite, TX, who needs $2,000 for Repair Fracture of the Left Distal Lateral Tibia with Medial Displacement.
Mesquite, TX
Pac came into our lives at 6 weeks old. My daughter has pet allergies but wanted a puppy soo bad. My son's best friend's dog had given birth to puppies. My son took the lunch money he had been saving and bought his little sister a puppy. Pac loves to walk, run, and play tug of war with socks. He is lovable and happy all the time. He naps under my chair while I am working. He is always hungry and loves back rubs. When he has done something wrong and he is asked about it, Pac turns his head away as if he doesn't want to talk about it or acts as if he doesn't know what we are talking about. Pac broke his left pelvic limb, medial rotation below the stifle, swelling at the tarsus. He was in moderate pain but the pain is progressing. He is barely eating, having diarrhea and vomiting. I am going through a divorce and moved in with my mom. I have 2 college kids that I have to support and their father will not help since I moved out. I do not have extra money to pay the cost of repairs for Pac and I don't want him to die.

Reddie Rue
Reddie Rue is a 9-year-old Dachshund Mix in Bonham, TX, who needs $1,115 for Chain Mastectomy & Ovariohysterctomy.
Bonham, TX
Hello, our dog Red is a wonderful well behaved Dachshund mix.She came into our lives 3 years ago when a friend of our former roommate was incarcerated and her boyfriend was selling all her belongings and neglecting 5 dogs that were left in his care or lack thereof... My mother had 2 male dachshunds when i was growing up, they were a handful but i loved those dogs so when I saw th6e condition that had been left in with my roommate's friend's worthless boyfriend it broke my heart so I asked my roommate to ask her friend if we could go pick up Red and care for her until she was released, her friend agreed. Red was great from day one. She has such a loving, grateful disposition and sheand she was completely housebroken. We honestly couldn't have gotten a better dog. My boyfriend of 11 yrs and myself had been very reluctant to get a dog bc we couldn't picture a dog that never did their business inside the house or a dog that didn't tear up/ destroy things and a dog that didn't irritate my boyfriends asthma however we took a chance on Red and it has been one of the best decisions we have made to date.Red's original owner was released after 15 months she came to get Red but when she saw how happy and loved Red was w/ us.She thought it would be best for her to stay with us. We were elated and relieved to know that Red would be happy and safe for the rest of her life. However, my boyfriend became unemployed in December and January. We are struggling financially and Red needs medical care as soon as possible she has a tumor on her mammary gland that by the grace of God the cancer hasn't spread to her lungs but it can at any time. The Vet said she is going to need 2/3 Surgeries. 1st one they will spay, remove mass tumor & one side of her mammary chain. 2nd surgery remove remaining tumors & deal w/ her severe dental disease. 3rd finish dental care

Buddy
Buddy is a 1-year-old Pyranees/Lab in Arlington , TX, who needs $2,000 for TPLO.
Arlington, TX
Buddy joined our family during a time in which we were trying to grow our family. We had lost 5 babies and decided to bring a dog home to love. The Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue was where we found Buddy. He was the runt of his litter, born under a trailer, and he quickly became a beloved member of our family. Buddy was born with an umbilical hernia, which was repaired when he was fixed. Coming home is our family's favorite thing to do because Buddy is always the most excited to see each of us as we arrive. He has become an integral member of our family, and though he loves the cats who also call our house a home, they aren't as fond of him. Buddy especially loves the teen boys in the home who quickly dissolve into ridiculousness to get a reaction out of him. Buddy loves people and dogs alike. He thoroughly enjoys visiting dog parks to play with other dogs and greet people. Because he such a gentle giant, Buddy's future may include working as a therapy dog who visits children and nursing homes. Buddy's family has had him for less than a year. In that time, Buddy has overcome Parvo, a massive hot spot, a shoulder injury, and has recently been diagnosed with two torn ACLs that need surgery to repair. Buddy's mom is a high school English teacher who is back in school to become a counselor so that she and Buddy can be a counseling team. In less than a year, Buddy's family has paid for his Parvo treatment, umbilical hernia repair, hot spot, and shoulder injury.

Royalty
Royalty is a 5-year-old Yorkie in Dallas, TX, who needs $1,400 for Cystotomy Procedure.
Dallas, TX
I’m a young adult, I don’t have very much money but I’ve always loved and wanted to rescue animals. I never thought my little dog would have issues such as a stone the size of an egg in her bladder. She is so little and in so much pain. I really cannot afford to have her treated. The doctor said if she she doesn’t get the surgery she needs soon, she will die. Royalty is my emotional support dog. She is so sweet and just would like to be loved and feed. She comes and cuddles with you and makes you pet her by pumping your hands up. I’ve never been able to have kids of my own due to infertility, therefore she is my only child. I had another dog who passed a few months ago. You can tell she misses him but she is still as loving as ever. Royalty is special because of her kind nature. She is loving to everyone. She loves other pets and anyone who will pet her. To me the most special thing about her is, she knows exactly when you’re sad. She will crawl into your arms and give you the best hugs ever. When my oldest dog died five months ago, I felt so alone. But royalty came and brushed up against me, showing every time I cried. Royalty has stones in her bladder. She’s so small but the stone is the size of an egg. She’s having the hardest time going to the restroom and is passing mostly blood. The doctors at Chew Vet clinic in dallas says she needs surgery soon. She stains and stays in the urinating position for 5-10 minutes at a time because she cannot get the urine out. I was married and was divorced recently. My husband and I ended up filling for bankruptcy therefore I have no extra money. The bankruptcy courts have created a budget for me that has no wiggle room for emergency situations such as this.

Skylar
Skylar is a 4-year-old Mixed Dog in Dallas, TX, who needs $800 for Leg Injury/ Fracture Repair.
Dallas, TX
We got Skylar from a friend who found her & her siblings in the woods in Missouri. They brought them all back & we fell in love when we seen all of their photos. We have had her for about a month now. She has an older brother named Hoss & they get along well. She rescues him from closed doors when he gets trapped! Lol Skylar loves to play! She is very energetic & loves to play with bigger dogs. She sleeps in her crate with her toys throughout the night. Occasionally she sleeps with us. Everyone who meets her loves her & wishes they say her first. Super friendly & loving pup! She likes her dad more. She follows him everywhere! Even now she is still trying to follow behind him & play with her friend Arlo. Skylar is curious about everything. She can be a little timid at first with new people but if you give her a treat she will be your best friend. She is pretty well known around the neighborhood. A lot of people have new puppies around here so she loves taking strolls to see everyone. Anytime we take her to PetSmart she has to pick a toy lol skylar was playing with a bigger friend & got hurt pretty bad. Judging from the aftermath it looked like they were playing on the couch both decided to jump off at the same time & hit our hardwood floors pretty hard. The other dog also landed on her. Animal Chew Clinic is working with us to get her taken care of. Tim has been very helpful. As of right now she needs X-Rays to see what the damage is I work for Wag! so my income can be up & down. With COVID vaccines it has gotten better since more people are able to go back to work. Jordan works full time but he covers all household expenses. Skylar is his first dog & he is so sad that she is in pain. We love her so Much

Dirty
Dirty is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in The Colony, TX, who needs $1,333 for Pyometra Surgery.
The Colony, TX
Dirty is an 8-year-old American Pitty. She came to me as a rescue a few years ago and had a very rough life in the beginning. Her prior owner only used her as a breeding dog, and when she wasn’t being bred, they locked her in a closet. Since I have had her for the last couple of years, she has socialized with her sisters and brother and is well-behaved. Over the last week, she began to act significantly differently. She didn't want to go for rides, didn't want treats, and started to vomit when she ate until she stopped eating. I took her to the Emergency Vet, and they diagnosed her with open pyometra and advised that she needed emergency surgery to take out her uterus and clean out the infection as she was becoming septic and very dangerous. Dirty is remarkable as she is full of energy and life. She wants to make sure that everyone is happy and loved. She is also as close to an Emotional Support Animal as she can be for me, as I suffer from PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, and intense levels of anxiety. She is there when she knows I need a hug or just to keep my mind occupied. Wherever we go, she becomes a mother and loves rubs. To have her healthy again means the world to me. I don't want to give up on her as others did when her prior owner was breeding her. Unfortunately, a significant expense had occurred recently where my emergency fund was depleted, leaving me helpless for her medical needs.
