Elizabeth came into my life when she was just a tiny 8 week old girl. I found her sister and her in a bush, and took them in. She has been my best friend ever since, I call her Bestie Liz. She lives with her 13 siblings, and 7 foster kitties. Elizabeth needs a dental. She has resorptive lesions on tooth 307 and 407. These are very painful for her, she is rubbing her mouth on objects, and one of her eyes is watering. She always looks like she is painful. She goes to The Community Cat Clinic in Woodstock Georgia. Elizabeth is a special girl. When she was a baby she had a bad reaction to the rabies vaccine and almost past away. Last year she was diagnosed with IBD, and she had some teeth removed in 2024. I know after her dental she will be feeling like her silly self again. These past two years have been extremely hard. I have had three cats diagnosed with IBD/GI lymphoma, a cat diagnosed with HCM and several of my foster kittens be extremely sick. I take care of over 30 community cats, doing TNR, and removing and caring for sick/injured cats.

TexMex is a rescue from PetSmart. After moving to ATL in pursuit of a job, I was very lonely. I've always had a penchant for black cats, and when I saw him on top of a cat tree with a thousand-yard stare, I knew he needed to get out of there. Sure enough, he had already been there for almost a year. We quickly bonded, and a year later, I acquired another black boy cat to keep him company. When I got Tex, he was flea-infested, had worms, and had gingivitis. I had warnings that his teeth would need attention, but I never had $$ after an annual $500 wellness visit for two cats. Cat Community Clinic estimates $696 for a Dental Cleaning Grade 2, which includes up to two tooth extractions. Recently, he started scratching his mouth, drooling, and stopped eating. TexMex is a lover. He adores those who will pet him and loves to be the center of attention. He likes to think he's the baddest kitty on the block, but really, he can only get the jump on his cat brother, Dante, every once in a while. As a stunt performer, money always ebbs and flows. The guild strikes, and then AI ground my income to a halt for an extended period of time. Now, with a new, wonderful addition of a baby, and the rising cost of living, we have no vet $$, but would love Tex to stay with us.

Nugget was originally my brother's cat. He came into my care because he wasn't getting the adequate care he needed. I have had him for I would say 2 years now and he is my best friend. Right now, Nugget is fighting a bacterial infection called Mycoplasma. It is an infection which attaches itself to red blood cells in the body. Community Cat Clinic in Woodstock helped finally figure out what was going on with him and he has to have consistent vet visits to make sure his red blood count is rising with the help of antibiotics and a steroid. Nugget is a very sweet cat. He has been my light in my life since he came into my care and I can't imagine my life without him. He's an adventurous soul and that's what caused him to get the infection, but I'm doing everything I can to make sure he's healthy again. My world revolves around him and I wouldn't trade him for anything. I have been trying my best with the cost of vet bills and have been denied for multiple things that would help me with the costs. I just need a little help and it would mean everything to me if I had support to get my boy back to his normal self.
