Vision
Vision is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Syracuse, , who needs $3,000 for Hospitalization & Transfusion Treatment.
Syracuse
Vision is my 11 year old cat. I have had him since he was a kitten and he’s moved across country with me. He’s been my steadfast companion for years now and is the sweetest, most loving boy. Just recently my poor boy started to collapse while walking. He was screaming out and it was extremely scary. I rushed him to my regular vet who discovered somehow his red blood cell count had dropped down to dangerous degrees and he needed a blood transfusion. At the er vet his blood cell count has dropped even more. He’s since had a transfusion but has to stay at the hospital. Vision is the sweetest boy. He sleeps in my arms every night and loves attention. He’s such a character and my friends all know him by name and sound alone. He loves everyone and he’s never been mean a day in his life. He’s very silly and loves his food— but loves me more than anything. Even while in oxygen he was trying to get to me so I could hold him and love him better. I’ve been able to pay for partial of the estimate of his vet bill. But I still have the other half left. This emergency vet visit came out of no where and I’m just desperate to try and get my boy home and stop his bleeding.

Bruce
Bruce is a 11 month old Mix-Breed in Binghamton, NY, who needs $18,000 for Reconstruction of the Right and Left Tarsi Joints..
Binghamton, NY
I rescued Bruce's mom from a vacant home not knowing that she was pregnant with 5 kittens. He was the runt of the litter and needed special attention. He currently lives with my girls and I in our apartment along with our 6 other cats and gets all the snuggles and love we can give. His hind legs have severe tarsi malformation and require reconstructive surgery at Cornell Animal Hospital. It is a rare deformity that cause's Bruce to walk on his ankles instead of his paws. His hind legs face upward causing him to walk on his bones. His body developed fluid sacks around the bone as a form of protection, but overtime will cause sores and other problems. Bruce is so special. All you do is look at him and he will start to purr and keep purring for hours. He loves to snuggle and be held. Despite his disability he loves to play fight with his brothers and chase bouncy balls through the house. He can also be a little devil when he tries to swipe food from your plate. The surgery is a major expense that will allow Bruce to have a better quality of life. It's hard to watch him struggle and wonder if I tried every avenue. To be able to see him walk without pain would mean so much to me. He is part of our family.

Chloe
Chloe is a 3 year old French Bulldog in Edison , NJ, who needs $2,000 for MRI and Surgery to Fix Disc.
Edison, NJ
We got Chloe when I was pregnant with my second baby. She is currently 3 years old, she was a gift after I lost all my frenchies I payed for in a divorce. My dog had a herniated disk which can mean paralysis if not treated, she is currently paralyzed but her outcome looks better with surgery. I am needing to raise money because the MRI alone is 4 grand, please help her get back on her feet. Chloe is friendly she loves everyone. She loves to eat and cuddle and chase squirrels unfortunately they are saying her running is too much and she needs to stay in a cage until she gets surgery and after may need to find new hobby chasing squirrels is too risky. We have 3 kids and all 5 and below; they love Chloe Dearly. We do not have help with the kids for even diapers so it is a must we start Chloe fundraisers. We didn’t expect a 3 year old dog to have these issues I am urging people to stop breeding French bulldogs.

Dancing Bear
Dancing Bear is a 1 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi in Berkshire, NY, who needs $2,000 for Hydrocephalus (Water on the Brain).
Berkshire, NY
He was born via c-section. He was a bit weak but with tube feeding he became strong enough to nurse on his own. I have been breeding Pembroke Welsh Corgis since 1998. I have never had experience with a puppy having water on the brain. His enlarged head and down turned eyes are a sign that he has this problem. He was mostly normal up until now. He is almost 6 weeks and needs surgery This is not easily treated. Surgery begins at $10K. A shunt is involved to drain the water away from his brain. Cornell University is close to my farm. Long term humans recover well but I am not sure about puppies. He was born with a black nose and I named him Dancing Bear. He reminded me of Dancing Bear from Captain Kangaroo. I regularly tube fed and bottle fed him. He is the sweetest puppy. He has been a fighter since the beginning. I am a breeder and had a very costly spring whelping season. I also have two children in college. And my husband is retiring. This surgery isn't something I can pay for in my current situation.

Poppy
Poppy is a 2 year old French Bulldog in Cortland, NY, who needs $2,000 for Cardiac Stent Placement.
Cortland, NY
Poppy came into our lives very unexpectedly. Prior to her coming into our home, we adopted a bulldog named from a rescue group in PA. She was a patient at the veterinary teaching hospital I work at, Cornell University. She had a disorder called pulmonic stenosis and surgery to repair it. About 6 months later I got a call from the rescue that they had another dog that had the same heart disorder. Poppy was taken in as a foster and initially had a procedure done to attempt to repair her heart called a balloon valvuloplasty. Unfortunately it wasn’t successful. The rescue doesn’t have the ability to pay for a $9k procedure for a stent placement (next step), so we have decided to officially adopt Poppy and get her the surgery she needs. Without it, she has less than a few years to live. Poppy is our “Marley and Me” dog. She was a naughty puppy. Destroyed everything, had no manners, couldn’t be trained to save her life, and potty training was a nightmare. But she got us through so much. We unexpectedly lost our bulldog and she innately knew how to calm our broken hearts. Then we lost my mom and my mother in law. We were wrecked. But Poppy became a silent therapist for us all. We had the sole intention to be a great foster home for Poppy. With her medical disorder, we knew that we couldn’t afford her care. The rescue wanted her close to Cornell, so we wanted to help. Once they wouldn’t do the next surgery which means life/death, we had to step up

Rusty
Rusty is a 8-month-old Mixed in Webster, NY, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Angular Limb Deformity.
Webster, NY
Rusty is the newest member of our family. We rescued him in August of 2023. He is 8 months old. We first discovered Rusty from an email sent to us by a local rescue. Valerie fell in love with his picture and I reached out to inquire about him. At that time we were told he had been adopted. About a week later we got a call from the rescue saying he was available. We adopted him the next day. Rusty loves to play with his brother, Bentley, and sister, Marcy (both rescues). He loves to run and chase a ball but we have to try to avoid that activity right now. He is a super snuggler and enjoys a good nap - especially if he is cozied up with his fellow pet buddies and his people. He is full of puppy energy, curiosity, and love. Rusty's favorite playmates are Marcy and Bentley. He likes to tease them into chasing him. He also has a surprisingly big, low, bark - which surprised us the first time we heard it. He has even made friends with the cats Finny & Fluffy. Although Finny is not 100% sure of Rusty, from time to time he runs up to him and bumps noses. It's super cute. They are working out their own language. We recently noticed Rusty's left paw turning out strangely. His vet recommended taking him to Cornell Animal Hospital. It was determined that he has an abnormal bone growth that requires surgery in order to avoid possible amputation as he ages. Because of his young age the prognosis is very good for him as long as its taken care of quickly while his growth plates are still active. We are on a fixed Soc Sec income and adopted Rusty while Valerie was going through her 2nd fight with cancer. That depleted our savings. Rusty brought a ray of sunshine into our lives during a very difficult time. Helping him grow up health and strong means everything to us.

Foxy
Foxy is a 7-month-old Shiba Inu in Allegany, NY, who needs $2,000 for TEE and Ventricular Septal Defect Repair.
Allegany, NY
We adopted Foxy from a breeder at the age of 5-6 months. We weren't provided any paperwork as promised. We took her to prevent her from being euthanized when adopting another dog. We took her for her first vaccines, and learned she has a heart murmer. She is a great dog! She is a Shiba Unicorn. She is not the typical Shiba. She's a calm, loving dog that is great with my 6 year old, Foxy is very loving. She lives with My daughter and me. We share our home with cats and 2 pet rabbits. All of whom were rescued. She fits in well. Low pretty drive for a Shiba, and goes to "grandmas" daily for doggy daycare and socialization. She is house training all. We believe she wasn't socialized at the breeders, but mostly kept Kenelled. She's come so far in a short time. Foxy has a high pitched sequel that says she wants to play. She loves to interacts with her toys, and has learned to disassemble some. She's very bright. She gets so excited when I pick her up after work from my mom's, and is ready to go home to see her "girl". She loves her daily walks, and pay time with the cats. She's unique though. She knows not to chase them. Foxy was recently diagnosed with a heart murmur. Due to its severity, we were able to get her an emergency appointment with Cornell Veterinary Hospital which diagnosed her with a membreanous ventricular septal defect. She has a 6 month window for repair which would correct her heart defect, and provide her a normal lifespan. With out this $20,000 surgery, she has 6 months - 1 year to live. I am a single mom who works as a Licensed Vet tech FT and pet sits to make ends meet. LVT's don't make much money. We do it for the love of animals. I don't want to see my daughter lose her first dog. We can't afford this without your help. I plan on fundraisingto help

Rocky
Rocky is a 8-year-old Alaskan Malamute in Attica, NY, who needs $2,000 for Thyroid Removal and Ultra Sound.
Attica, NY
We have 3 dogs. Mayo is our white husky malamute mix, Rocky is our pure Alaskan malamute and Rona is our German shepherd. We can’t have kids so these are our kids and we would do anything for them. They are 8, 8 and 4(in name order) we own our home and they have lots of space and yard. Rocky is sick and needs to have surgery. He has hyperparathyroidism and needs his thyroids removed. Rocky sleeps a lot now because he is sick. He is drinking a lot and peeing a lot and throwing up. His calcium levels are real high and if they get above 60(he’s at 40 ) it could be fatal. He is a lover and cuddler and he is my baby. I can’t imagine him not being here with us. He’s goofy and vocal and loves everyone. He doesn’t deserve this His favorite friends are his brother and sister.(not blood related) and us! Rocky is the most calmest caring dog I have ever seen. He is so different from the other 2 and really can’t be with out him. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old and raised him. He is so lovable and kind. We are trying to pay for surgery and treatment his vet is Perry Vet in Batavia and he needs to go to Orchard Park vet Hospital for ultrasound and surgery to remove thyroid glands and tumors. This is an unexpected even that we don’t not have money for. We spent 500 last week just getting him the blood tests he needs, and the surgery and treatment could cost 3000 up to 10,000. We aren’t looking for all of that just some help. We do not have that much saved.

Moose
Moose is a 5-year-old Great Dane in Baldwinsville , NY, who needs $2,000 for Gastric dilation Volvulus Surgery & Recovery (GVD/Bloat).
Baldwinsville, NY
Moose had a medical emergency of bloat that required surgery. He has to be hospitalized for a week with multiple blood transfusions and protein treatments. He is a sweet giant boy that loves 4 children and 2 mini-schnauzers. No value can be placed on his life, he’s a human. Thank you for any help you can give. Moose loves to run the yard and patrol the neighborhood out the window. His favorite place is the dog park where he always makes new human and pet friends. Moose is the size of a human and acts like it. He sits and hugs the same way a human would. On his behind on a couch cushion, and by wrapping his arms around you. His favorite game is Moose wins. He never loses a game of tug. He loves small animals, from his miniature dog siblings down to little kittens, he wouldn’t hurt a fly, He’s the embodiment of unconditional love. Moose was having a normal night then started dry heaving, he was experiencing bloat and his stomach had flipped. He was rushed to the Emergency Room at Cornell University, He has had surgery including removal of his spleen. His circulatory system is taking some time to recover from the blood transfusions, but he is still here. He lifts his head up and tries to stand when his family visits him. We have exhausted all financial credit options, and are working second jobs while fitting in visiting. Moose needs an estimated $12,000 plus to be well again,

Floki
Floki is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Lansing, NY, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Care for Malnourishment, Dehydration, and Deep Wounds on Legs.
Lansing, NY
We are Jen, Anthony, and Dante, the human family of a wonderful pride of cats - Sake, Meowsers, Floki and Pineapple. Floki is 2.5 years old, and is the sweetest, most gentle, "scaredy cat" of the bunch. We adopted him from the SPCA as a kitten, when he excitedly reached out of his cage to grab us as we walked by. Floki is a sweet soul.. he is always up for snuggles, especially with our cat Meowsers - He is best buddies with cat Meowsers (in pictures), who misses him so much. The would often play together, fighting and wrestling, and end up snuggling afterward. They were inseparable. Meowsers frantically looked for Floki when we brought the carrier home from the animal hospital after he was found. Floki would often roll around excitedly when I got home from work, I called it "roly poly". A silly boy, he is known to sleep comfortably spread-eagle all the time - a photo collage of this exists! He is a rare cat that loves belly rubs too. His meow is loud and more like a desperate yowl - which can often be heard when he was mad his food was 10 minutes late making it to the bowl!:-) After 1.5 months of being missing, Floki was found near the brink of death. He is currently at the Cornell Companion Animal Hospital. He has been stable this whole time, but his ailments include: severely dehydration/malnourishment; refeeding syndrome; loss of muscle mass; deep open wounds on his paws. Miraculously no obvious broken bones or paralysis. Floki is a much-loved member of our family. It's a miracle he survived on this the long hard journey. We will do everything in our power to give him the chance to complete the journey home. We have financed what we can, but fear we may reach the end of what we can do.

Kitty Sacco
Kitty is a 6-year-old Short Hair Domestic Cat in Ithaca, NY, who needs $2,000 for Amputation of Limb.
Ithaca, NY
This is Kitty, and my name is Robin. When she was crying outside in the middle of winter I had to check her out, asked everyone in neighborhood who she belongs to, and after about a week of letting her in and out I realized I had been adopted. We live in Ithaca NY and luckily it is home to one of the best vet hospitals; Cornell Small Animal Vet Hospital. She is the only pet, as I had decided I couldn't afford them and I am allergic. 8 weeks ago kitty had an accident and crushed her leg under the garage door. She was coming in, changed her mind last second and tried to slip under but got her leg stuck. It's broken in three different spots on each of the two bones. It was recommended she have surgery. Kitty first came to live with me in 2018 after I lost my two kids. It was an very emotional time and she and I became family. Surgery cost 5,000 USD and I couldn't afford it. The only other option was splinting. It was warned that for breaks this bad, its not likely to work, but I felt I had to try something. After the first 4 weeks that kitty was having trouble adjusting to it. The vet's still recommended splinting instead of surgery now due to knowing she wasn't yet adjusting. We've been splinting now for almost 8 weeks, it's still an unstable break and the doctors are recommending amputation. This is still a surgery yet a slightly cheaper surgery costing $3000+ in it's self. We've already accumulated $2000 in vet bills, which is split between two credit cards. This has bankrupted me already and I cannot do the $3,000. I've searched the area for a better option without success and it's come down to the breaking point. It's time to ask for help. Can you help us?
Sullivan
Sullivan is a 13-year-old Shih Tzu in Fairport, NY, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy.
Fairport, NY
Sully & Finn came to live with me at 9 weeks old. The same weekend we moved into our house, they arrived. Picking their names wasn’t easy as my bf at the time wanted to name Finn, Thor but wouldn’t agree to Sully being named Loki. We decided on Sully after hearing about Captain Sully who landed the plan in the Hudson River. Was fitting since Sully was always flying around the house. Sully is also known as Silly. He’s a little ADHD & a mamas boy. He loves going on walks to new places. We would walk 2-3 miles a day and he’d rest for 15 mins and be ready to go again. He follows so closely to me when I move around the apartment that I almost step in him. He & his bro sleep with me and when I turn over he jumps over so he can snuggle to me. He’s very talkative. He makes me laugh Sully make me laugh daily. His other name is Silly. Recently due to his illness he’s on a med that causes him to seem like he’s high and so he did in the begging this funny thing of crawling very slowly but clumsily up to my face when we were snuggling on the sofa and he would ever so gently put his nose on mine and look me in the eye. I really wish I could speak dog when he speaks to me About 5 years ago I had a breast cancer scare and Sully started getting sick too. We discovered he had a poly on his spleen, our vet said nothing to worry about and thats not the cause his illness. When my biopsy came back neg, Sully got better. Now that polyp has grown by 2cm and is very painful on him. It needs to be removed. I work a ft job & have recently taken on 2 pt jobs just to be able to eat as my rent went up $200 last year & now another $100 but no raises, no savings, no credit cards. Trying to pay off my past debts so that I can have a savings but now I’m working to save Sullys life.

Syracuse, NY
Mabel, my 11month old puppy girl needs emergency heart surgery!! You can help chip away at the financial obstacle in the way of saving her life! In Mabel's case, permanent pacemaker implantation is her only chance! The surgery for pacemaker would be 100percent curative of her life threatening heart malfunction!! Mabel is equally tenacious as she is sweet as pie! She is a personal snuggle angel and tear-licker-upper! Her adventurous side is bigger than her own britches! We always knew her heart was big but now it’s swollen to a dangerous size due to her heart condition! Bomber is her big brother who was Leary of her arrival but now they are an inseparable duo! She gives the family insurmountable joy She’s a burrowing fool and quite the moochy pooch. She wants whatever bone or treat her big brother Bomber has even though she has been given her very own. Her sense of adventure is modeled by her big brother too which is saying a lot since he is a true athlete! She always surprises us with the size of her personality compared to her mini body! We had no clues into her heart condition until the very telling time under anesthesia for her spay surgery. We almost lost her that day! This was the warning to get us to get to ‘the heart of the matter’! Mabel’s heart problem is life threatening yet, this surgery that is needed is 100 percent curative! Due to my own health woes, my fainting spells have landed me needing major nerve surgery on my hand after a blackout fall. I remain on disability and my husband can only take so many overtimes!i

Binghamton, NY
Mystique is a 5 year old Great Dane. She was a 4th birthday gift to my son in 2017. She was 3 months old when we purchased her. I've wanted a puppy for many many years. We waited until we bought our house to get a puppy so the pup could have all the space they deserved. She is a very healthy, spunky, loving pup. She loves making new friends, & knows the whole neighborhood and all the mail carriers Mystique is 1 of 7 fur babies in this home. She gaurds all her siblings, both 4 legged and 2 legged. Her favorite place to sleep is either in my bed or mainly my son's bed. She loves going for walks on the nature trails and playing tag with her puppy friends at the puppy park. She is currently teaching her baby sister how to be a good girl. She's trained to be off leash. Mystique is a snow puppy. Every winter she has to be outside work my son, sticking her face in the snow and rolling around. She is also my service dog for PTSD, depression, anxiety, and panic disorder associated with agoraphobia. She helps ground me and bring my heart rate back down when I am in crisis. Mystique was diagnosed with stomach torsion at 5pm on 06/11/2022. We called all the local vet's in Broome County, and with her symptoms, they all recommended that we go to Cornell Animal Hospital. We drove as fast as we could and got her there in time to be saved. We managed to scrounge up $800 as a down payment for her to be able to get surgery. We are currently a one income household with my income being the only one. I work 40+ hours a week, but only get paid bi-weekly. Between all of my bills and food, I can not afford to pay her while medical bill at once like they want.

Daphne
Daphne is an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel in Little Falls, NY, who needs $1,500 for an urgent surgical procedure.
Little Falls, NY
Daphne had a heartbreaking start to her life. She lived inside a cage in a puppy mill for seven years, never knowing love, a soft bed, or a human's touch. But Liz C. changed all that when she adopted Daphne. "Despite Daphne's long history of being caged, she is a sweet girl who loves to give kisses. She has learned to play and enjoy walks. Daphne also loves to eat and scour the apartment for things to steal; she will steal almost anything and bring it to her bunker, her safe space under the bed," Liz tells Waggle. Since Daphne never had proper veterinary care, she now suffers from a larynx issue which results in breathing difficulties and chronic urinary tract infections. She's being treated at the Cornell University Companion Animal Hospital. "Daphne's UTIs are caused by staph and enterococcus bacterial infections inside the bladder. Extended antibiotic treatment has not helped, and the infections continue. She needs to have a cystoscopy under general anesthesia, estimated to cost $2,500 to $3,000. Daphne also has problems breathing when exerted or walking. This prevents her from playing. She needs larynx surgery. That's estimated to cost $3,000-4,000," Liz says. Liz hopes you will see the same potential she does in Daphne and give to her campaign to get this poor girl the care she has not had for years. "I am on Social Security Disability, and I have health issues and expenses," Liz says. "I have raised money on my own in the past for Daphne's expenses, but this is more than I can handle. Daphne is my anchor to sanity. I suffer from clinical depression. Daphne makes me smile every single day. Her joy despite her horrible past, teaches me something every day. She never complains, and the vets are amazed because she must be in pain. Daphne is a survivor, and she deserves every chance to have a good life."

Asia
Asia is a 5-year-old Saint Bernard in Cobleskill, NY, who needs $2,000 for total hip replacement .
COBLESKILL, NY
Asia came into my life when my sisters dog had puppies. I was there for her birth. She was the first born and I was home alone with her mother. She plopped out on the floor and I thought that she was dead. I quickly rushed her mother to the whelping box and rubbed asia until she squirmed and latched onto mom. The second she was born I fell in love and knew she was mine. I was not looking for another dog nor did I want one but there was an instant connection that I had never experienced before. From the day she was born (I have photos from literally seconds after she was born), I spent most of my time with her and for the last 5 years we have been inseparable. I dont go anywhere without asia.
