Josh adopted Fender 8 years ago while in school. He helped Josh land a beautiful wife who brought her own dog and now they all live together with two cats. Recently Fender tore his Cruciate ligament jumping into the bed to cuddle. It is a hefty bill coming at an inopportune time. Fen is currently unable to play fetch or go on walks with his pack and is very upset about this (and in pain). Fender is always there for anyone that is in pain be it physical or emotional. If he hears someone crying or sighing out of stress he will be there to lay his head in their lap. He loves being anywhere his pack is and is very active. He loves to play frisbee and fetch, Unfortunately, this is an expensive operation not covered by pet insurance and we need some help making it happen in a short time frame so that Fender can get back to his active lifestyle.

We have been homeless for about the past 2 years. We have lived home to home moving a lot.. he suffers severely from anxiety hard for him to be alone… so has kept me out of work, resulting in me falling behind on all his medications and shots. We have finally moved into a home of our own, and trying to get settled in. Roscoe sleeps with me, he loves sleeping under the covers. He interacts well with people who has gotten to know. He is skeptical about people at first, especially when we have to move from one house to another. He is very close to me, he has to sleep touching me. He loves my fiancée as well, it’s kind of just been us 3 the past 2 years. Struggling with life very badly. Very harsh times. Roscoe sleeps with me and on my pillow as if he is human. He snores. He helps me tremendously with my anxiety. He is my best friend, he always has me smiling and laughing after a long day. He always has to be touching me when he is asleep. He cuddles me all the time. He knows when I’m crying and upset he will come lay or sit very close to me, most of the time trying to lick my tears away. Roscoe is very late on his normal vaccinations. He is late on his heartworm medication so the vet wants to test him first for heart worm. He is behind on his yearly shots as well as Rabies. He has very bad ear infections, shakes his head all the time, hard for him to sleep. He suffers from hair loss, which I believe is due to allergies. He has severe anxiety and moves a lot so they sedate him. Lost job due to homeless. Have been living from place to place. I have just started a job. To have Roscoe back on his medications and up to date with his shots and heart worm will help me tremendously because we now live in the country and there are a lot of mosquitoes.
