Bucky

Bucky is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Allentown , PA, who needs $20,000 for Spinal Surgery, Red Light Therapy, Physical Therapy.

Allentown, PA

From the moment we laid eyes on Bucky, it was love at first sight. My husband gently reached out to pet him, and Bucky playfully chewed on his hand, sealing an instant bond with us. Over time, he blossomed into a bundle of joy with a hilarious personality. He sits like a human when begging for food, and he’s my little Velcro boy, always glued to my side. I can't imagine life without him by my side He has been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and has ruptured a disc in his back. Consequently, he has suddenly lost the use of his back legs and is experiencing significant pain. This is quite premature for him to be experiencing such an issue. His doctors have stated that there is an 80% chance of recovery with surgery. - he's receiving care at Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center Bucky is a bundle of joy who adores cuddles and walks, especially when he’s with my two boys. His gentle nature shines through as he remains quiet, only speaking up when a special treat is in sight. With a heart full of love, he’ll sit on his hind legs and wave his paws, eagerly seeking attention. Bucky’s warmth and affection extend to everyone he meets, making him a cherished companion in our liv This surgery came at us over night. One minute he's rolling around in the grass, and the next he can't move his back legs. The doctors are telling us his care will cost around 17-20K, which we can't afford. It would mean everything to us to get him healthy again.

Lola

Lola is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Pottstown, PA, who needs $6,000 for Fracture Repair.

Pottstown, PA

Hello! This is our little daughter Lola, who has been with us since February. She shares the house with her brothers Jasper and Blaze (our 2+3 year old cats). Lola loves playing with her brothers and being outdoors. To put it simple, Lola loves everyone! People, other dogs, cats, you name it. She never barks nor growls at anybody and wants to be around everyone she meets! Like I said, Lola loves her brothers, she follows them everywhere! Even to places where they shouldn't be (like on top of our dining room table). On 06/11, we were in the other room talking when we heard a crash followed by Lola's cries. Lola was on the ground with her paw broken and bent in several directions. We immediately transported her to Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center. Lola has always been so kind to everyone, never acting in any hostility towards others! She loves her brothers, and she loves being with people at social gatherings, always wanting to make new friends both big and small. Many of our friends and family have had the pleasure of witnessing the legendary "zoomies" where she will express her energy by racing around the yard. Since Lola's wrist was found to be completely broken at the bone after her tragic fall, they told us the only affordable option would be amputation! I could never take away her ability to run like she loves to do, so we paid into the surgery to save her leg. We need help!

Nala is a 5 year old Boxer in Jim Thorpe, PA, who needs $9,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy Surgery.

Jim Thorpe, PA

Story: My name is Michelle, and my sweet 5‑year‑old Boxer, Nala, has been a constant source of joy and love for our family since we brought her home from a breeder near Allentown, Pennsylvania, during COVID in 2020. Nala’s personality is a little ornery, but she is deeply loving and was always full of energy before her injury. She loved walking around our neighborhood, greeting other dogs. Nala is a 5‑year‑old Boxer who was recently diagnosed with complete ACL tears (cranial cruciate ligament ruptures) in both of her back legs. This painful condition makes it very difficult for her to walk, stand, or enjoy the activities she once loved. She is being treated at Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, under the care of Dr. Melissa Gibson. Nala has always been the heart of our home. Whenever we come back from being out, she greets us with uncontainable excitement. Before her injury, she would jump up, put her front paws on us, and stand tall on her back legs to say hello. One of her sweetest quirks is the way she tilts her head, as if she’s really listening and understanding every word we say. She shares a special bond with me The cost of Nala’s surgery — $7,000 to $9,000 is completely out of our budget and will never be within our reach without help. We’already spent so much just to get her diagnosed and to understand what she needs. Right now, Nala is in so much pain And needs your help.

Horus

Horus is a 9 month old American Shorthair in Sinking Spring, PA, who needs $4,500 for MRI.

Sinking Spring, PA

Horus is a kitten rescued from the streets, he entered my life by chance, my husband wanted to adopt a kitten and when we went to look for her at the rescuer's house I fell in love with Horus since I saw him, he was 3 weeks old, and he was super playful. Without a doubt I took it. They were very hungry, on the way home I gave them a Churu and their hunger was so great that Horus bit my finger He was always a healthy cat and loved to eat a lot. For three months it has not been the same as before. Little by little he stopped playing and hid in places where he couldn't reach him, I worried and began to take him to the vets, because he felt like his back hurt. So far they haven't been able to tell me what he has. The last thing left to do is to do an MRI. I need help to do that study. He loved to play, he was very attached to me, when I arrived from work he went with me to the bathroom, and if I sat on the toilet he climbed on my legs and sometimes to not lower it they spent up to 10 minutes with him on my legs, when I entered the bathtub he waited for me, and he didn't stop talking to me, he always had to take his head out of the bathtub and tell him "I'm here". I'm separating from my husband, and I'm in charge of my three rescued cats. I have spent the few savings I had on veterinary consultations and medicines. I have no way to support the medical examinations that Horus needs

Keren

Keren is a 1.5 month old Mix-Breed in Schuylkill Haven, PA, who needs $2,000 for Double Transpalpebral Enucleation.

Schuylkill Haven, PA

This Waggle campaign is for our little Keren. He was brought into the animal hospital for treatment and when we called his owner- she had disappeared! We tried for several hours to reach her by phone, text and email. She never got back to us. So, Keren was bound for a shelter where he was destined to be euthanized considering his current condition. When Keren was brought into Eastern Pa Veterinary Medical Center, he was under weight, tiny all over, barely 5 weeks, and had two ruptured eyes- this is why he was destined to be euthanized. Extremely painful and infected - he needed treatment ASAP. He received pain medication and sat while we waited for her to respond. After many hours, I decided he would come home with me! Keren showed determination to live! He eats like a champ, purrs like a motor and is one snuggly little guy! With this in mind- I'm determined to help him have a healthy life! His big brother Koa lives a wonderful life without eyes, and KEREN CAN TOO!! This surgery for Keren is $3,000-$4,000. I am one who rehabs animals and lives off limited income to do so. I would greatly appreciate any and all help! Please consider donating to our Waggle campaign, which pays the hospital directly. Thank you!!

Anabelle is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Emmaus, PA, who needs $2,000 for Fatty Liver and Pancreatitis, E-Tube for Feeding.

Emmaus, PA

Anabelle and her brother Aiden came into our lives as a pure accident. I (Kelly) was asked to kitty sit for a foster agency for a week when Anabelle and Aiden were a few weeks old. My husband, Travis, was firm on keeping them so they became part of our kitty crew! They started out a bottle babies and we did feed them from a young age Anabelle was admitted to Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center on 4/24/25 after being icteric. She was rushed to the hospital and was confirmed. She lost 5 lbs since 12/2024, suspected due to pancreatitis then stopped eating which caused her to use her fat storage in her body and develop a fatty liver. She was making progress was discharged 4/26 and remitted on 4/28 and remains hospitalized. Anabelle has a biological brother- Aiden. She also has other cat siblings- Jake, 12- Theo and Grace, 10; Colby and Ariel 3. Anabelle is a sweetheart she loves to cuddle with humans and other kitties a like. She purrs and purrs. She loves to give “hugs” basically rubbing her body against us. At the hospital she is the same way. The staff has told us she is a sweetheart. We agree! Anabelle’s two hospitalizations and ED visit has put significant financial strain on our family. Anabelle prior to this was a VERY healthy cat. This rapid decline in her took as by surprise and it would mean everything to have her happy and healthy at home. We miss her!

Wembley Roo

Wembley Roo is a 10 year old Papillon in Breinigsville, PA, who needs $2,000 for MRI and Spinal Tap.

Breinigsville, PA

Wembley Roo came into my life in October of 2021. I scrolled upon his picture on a Lost & Found pet page. He had been found in the street. Although I had followed lost pet pages for years, it was different this time. I immediately thought, "I'm can take care of him." I called for him and had to wait to see if he would be claimed. About a week later, he came home with me. My whole life changed! Wembley has been very healthy- just two breed-specific dental procedures. On 11/2/24, he had his annual check-up and did great! On 11/3/24, I woke up to Wembley having a grand mal seizure. We went to the ER vet, and he seemed to be doing much better. A week later he seemed to have another seizure or stroke. The neurologist is recommending an MRI. Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center. Wembley changed my life. I never thought I would have a dog of my own and tend to be very busy and focused on work. Wembley has given my life a new purpose. He has also impacted his other family members. He loves his Mimi, Gigi, "Friend" (my twin sister), and his cousin dogs. He says hello with a lick (aka a kissey), and protects us with his 14 lb stature and 3 remaining teeth! He is very special. Within that last 10 days, the vet bills have come to $1,840. I was prepared for initial ~$400 for his routine visit on 11/2, but did not expect these emergencies. I am working full time as and working an after-school program. I am open to a third job, but have limited time.

Jonah is a 9 year old German Shepherd Dog in Nazareth, PA, who needs $2,000 for GDV Surgery and Splenectomy.

Nazareth, PA

I got Jonah as a puppy 9 years ago when I was 14 years old. He’s been my constant best friend and companion. I’m a full time student so we live with my mom and sister. They also love Jonah so much Tuesday the 15th of October Jonah was crying and pacing around the yard. Trying to throw up but it appeared extremely painful. We rushed him to an emergency vet at 11pm and were shortly afterwards informed he had a severe case of Bloat. Meaning his stomach was filled with gas and had flipped, cutting off circulation. All this lead to him needing emergency overnight surgery to save his life. Jonah has been my best friend all through my teenage years and now into my 20’s. He has a little sister Chia, a 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd. He also spends his evenings relaxing by a fire in the wood stove with his “gam gam”, my mom. I am a full time student that works at a cafe on all my days off from classes. Jonah’s life saving surgery came to $6,600. I am trying to pick up extra shifts to help pay for it while balancing making sure he has a smooth recovery.

Our family expanded with May just like a lot of us do when getting a dog. The dad says no and the mom says yes! she is beyond the sweetest girl! My husband and I knew that the day she came into our lives. She is truly a family member at times she forgets she isn’t like one of the kids! She loves to play ball, and is very happy in the car. She lives for her “kids” and that slobbery chuck it ball! May is currently hospitalized at Eastern PA vet medical center She is still undergoing tests but is getting treatment for lyme nephritis, which her vet said they have seen at this stage make a great recovery. The issue is she is also anemic so a further work up is needed. May is the kindest, sweetest girl. She has 3 human kids she loves to play with. She also is my snuggle bug for my anxiety. I am fighting stage 3 cancer and she has been here for me on a few emotional roller coaster through treatments and surgery, but she is always right here by my side! And it’s my time to return the favor! I am currently fighting stage 3 cancer, we are a young family of 5 (6) with May and trying to make ends meet because of loss income from my diagnosis in Jan. 2024

Maddie

Maddie is a 8 month old Golden Retriever in Kunkletown, PA, who needs $2,000 for Femur Fracture Repair.

Kunkletown, PA

Maddie joined our family just 4 months ago. She was rescued from an puppy mill in Lancaster county. She is a fun, playful, crazy 8 month old puppy. She enjoys playing with her human sister and her two fur sisters. She is such a loving pup that doesn't like to be down. On July 5th, Maddie became spooked during the night. She went to jump off our bed, however her right leg did not follow. It became stuck between the mattress and the footboard. She cried and cried! When we got her to the vet, they confirmed she has a from femur and will require surgery to repair it. It is close to the growth plate which is why it is so urgent! Maddie has quite the personality. She "talks" to use and shows her little attitude with a side eye glare. It is like having a teenage but in a puppy form. We have not had all our firsts with Maddie since she is not even a year old, however she is a huge part of our family and we wouldn't have it any other way. This is a HUGE unexpected expense for our family. The surgery will be at a minimum $5,000 and could go $7,500 very quickly. It all depends on what they find when they open her up. We will do whatever it takes to get Maddie back to her normal self,!

Chance

Chance is a 2-year-old Pitbull in Kingston , PA, who needs $1,400 for chronic kidney disease.

Kingston, PA

Chance came into my life 2 years ago, I never had any problems paying his vet bills or making sure he’s in the best care possible, I live by myself with Chance and make sure he lives the best life he can! Someone from Philly had a lot of pitbulls for sale and they didn’t seem to be in the best care they should be in. That’s when I inquired Chance. Chance loves playing with his toys, going on walks, hiking, he lives his best life, I take him everywhere with me, he’s so friend with other people and he loves hanging out with other dogs, Chance is one of a kind! Chance loves destroying all his toys so they only last a few days but his smile is worth it:) Being laid off this month with Covid and having to pay bills plus all the fees I already paid i don’t no how I’m going to afford to pay his emergency fees. I’m taking to Allentown to get an ultrasound, hopefully they can find the problem and treat it. Just started about a week ago he’s been acting a little strange, not eating, started to lose his playfulness, and sleeping a lot... after 2 vet visits and all the blood work and trying to pin point the problem they still can’t detect the problem, they detected high calcium levels and today has been the worst day, he’s limping around and not eating, Chance is the best cuddle dog ever, he makes my day is happier, and loves his kisses. Since chance came into my life it’s been a lot better and I never feel a lone, Chance knows when I feel sad he will be extra cuddly and I'm always there to give him the same love. It’s a 50/50 relationship..
