Baby
Baby is a 10-month-old Staffordshire Terrier Mix in Stanton, KY, who needs $1,300 for Hip Surgery to Reattach Broken Leg.
Stanton, KY
Baby was hit by a vehicle and her family couldn't afford medical treatment. They know how much I love dogs & that I have a fenced yard & asked if I wanted her, of course I did. The vet said her back leg is broken and it's no longer attached to her hip socket. It is difficult to walk and play, not to mention sometimes painful. My dog Buddy has welcomed Baby into our home. They quickly became best friends. They run and play in the backyard, she drags her leg & I know it hurts but she still smiles. She's still a puppy so she has so much life ahead of her & I want it to be as happy & pain free as possible. My dog Buddy has a tree rope he swings from and it's so cute watching her watch him. She loves chasing balls too. I hope she'll be swinging from that rope soon too. Our veterinarian said the xrays show her leg is broken and not attached to the hip socket. With surgery she will recover and go on to lead a long healthy life. I am trying to give Baby a chance at a pain free life. I have tried to find veterinarian clinics that will accept a payment plan but I haven't yet. I have received a $500 donation from a family friend and that brings it to $1300 that I need to raise.

Abby
Abby is a 5-year-old Husky/Pit in Lexington , KY, who needs $748 for Growth Removal and Ovariohysterectomy.
Lexington, KY
Abby was brought home from Missouri 5 years ago. She's super happy playful silly wild and hyper all at the same time. She lives with us a family of 6. 4 adults ( two Seniors and two adults) two kids. Abby is the best dog we could have ever asked for. She actually is untrained but alerts for certain medical problems for my self and our 8 year old son who is special needs. She is so playful and silly with everyone. Abby loves everyone she meets people wise. Abby is very protective of her family including our other pets Aspen and Caesar our cats. Abby never fails to get as hyper as can be when I walk in the door especially after being gone from home for moths at a time in the hospital with our oldest son. She acts like she meets me every time all over again. Her tail doesn't stop wagging. Saying her name makes her tail wagging crazy. She follows me every where and warms my heart. Abby suddenly started to develop a mass on her teeth about 4 weeks ago maybe a little more. We finally got enough funds together to get her in the clinic to be seen. She needs two masses removed as we found a second one at the vets exam. Getting her spayed and these masses removed would greatly improve her life and make her feel better over all. I'm a stay at home mom and a full time caregiver to our special needs son. Jake has seizures requires oxygen at night and during naps.jake needs 24/7 supervision due to all his medical needs. My parents are the seniors. Jake works full time and it's still a struggle saving.
