Winks
Help Winks: A Pitbull Tragically Struck by a Car
Germantown, OH • Adopt a Pit Rescue, Inc.
A sweet 1-year-old pittie named Winks had her life turned upside down when she was hit by a car. She was left badly injured and in desperate need of help. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan rushed her to the emergency vet, where the full extent of her injuries became clear. Tragically, her eye was so severely damaged that it had to be removed. Despite the pain she’s endured, Winks has captured every heart she’s met with her incredible spirit, warm and snuggly nature, and the cutest wiggle butt you'll ever see. At just 40 pounds, Winks is the perfect mix of energy and calm—she adores toys, plays with other dogs, is great with cats, absolutely loves kids, walks, snoozing on the couch, and, of course, rocking her favorite PJs. Winks is the total package. However, her medical bills are mounting up, and we would greatly appreciate any help you could give as we are committed to helping her heal and find a loving family who will aodre her as much as we do. Winks has so much love to give. Will you help on her journey to recovery? Your support will go towards giving her the second chance she so deeply deserves.

Sasha
Sasha is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Germantown, OH, who needs $2,000 for Parvovirus Treatment.
Germantown, OH • Adopt a Pit Rescue, Inc.
Adopt a Pit Sasha has had a rough go at life in her past few months. She found herself at the local shelter in Dayton Ohio, having been hit by a car. She had a broken pelvis that, fortunately, was repaired quickly through surgery. Less than 48 hours after her surgery, she fell sick with Parvo. It is suspected that the surgery was so hard on her little body, that her immune system was weakened and made her susceptible to this highly contagious, sometimes fatal disease that attacks white blood cells and the gastrointestinal tract. Sasha was brought into Adopt a Pit rescue, who got her the treatment she needed for Parvo. She was hospitalized for two weeks with a prognosis that was not hopeful. She has fought hard to survive, and we are so thankful she did. She is finally stable, but still has a bit of a way to go. Sasha is incredibly sweet and just wants love. She is just 2 years old, and deserves to be a healthy, happy dog. She has been through so much in her short life, and Adopt a Pit is doing everything they can to put her sadness and pain in the past. Adopt a Pit rescue relies on donations to help save dogs like Sasha. Please consider donating so that Sasha has the support to continue on her journey back to health and happiness.

Dandelion and Pansy
Dandelion and Pansy are 3 month old American Pit Bull Terriers in Germantown, OH, who need $2,000 for Hospitalization and Wound Care.
Germantown, OH • Adopt a Pit Rescue, Inc.
Pansy and Dandelion were found abandoned next to a dumpster with horrific wounds. It was quickly evident these two siblings were used as bait dogs for dog fighting. They are barely 3 months old and have faced horrors that no dog ever should, leaving them with some of the worst wounds Adopt A Pit Rescue has ever seen. Pansy and Dandelion are currently at Far Hills Veterinary Clinic. They have abdominal trauma, extensive puncture wounds and bruising, and multiple open wounds. They are anemic, have skin issues, can barely open their eyes because of swelling. Pansy cannot stand up due to joint issues in her back legs. They also have coccidia. They will remain hospitalized until they are stable. Pansy and Dandelion have healed wounds, which means they have never known anything else but physical pain and abuse in their three short months of life. Despite their history and current health, they are still giving kisses and wagging their tails. They are extremely sweet and vulnerable. No dog deserves this, much less innocent babies. Pansy and Dandelion will not survive without hospitalization and future surgeries. Their vet bills will be thousands of dollars, but Adopt A Pit Rescue knows they are worth fighting for. Please help by donating to their cause today.
