We rescued Mocha from the streets when she was about 2 months old. She is the sweetest and most playful little girl. Mocha swallowed some wrapping ribbon, and a portion remains that has not passed naturally. She is currently hospitalized under veterinary observation and may require surgery tomorrow if it does not pass on its own. Mocha is my son's first pet, and they bonded instantly. She was so tiny when we found her that we had to bottle-feed her, and she quickly became his best friend. I am a single mother of two boys, and after my husband passed away, Mocha has been a vital source of comfort, especially helping my son cope with his loss.

Her name is Jasmine Jade, and she has many different personalities. She is a very happy dog, but she can also be silly and sassy, and she loves to wrestle around. She loves giving side eyes. My niece's dog had puppies, and I saw a picture of Jasmine and knew instantly that I wanted her. I fell in love with her colors. We bonded really fast; she had to be near me all the time. I can't see life without her. She can't use her back legs. The vet believes that a disc is pressing into her spinal cord. She needs an MRI to see what is really wrong with her. The vet talked to the neurology department at the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center. Jasmine means the world to me; she is the one who is constantly there for me when I'm having a bad day. All I have to do is say her name, and her tail is going crazy, and I love how excited she gets when I get home from work. I can't picture a live with her not in it; she is still so young and has a lot of years left to live. My daughter feels the way I do about her. I don't make a lot of money; I live from paycheck to paycheck. After bills, I barely have money left for food. I'm asking for support cause i cant afford the cost of the surgery, and I don't know what else to do. I can't handle seeing Jasmine in pain all the time.
