Luna
Luna is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Asheville , NC, who needs $201 for Diagnosis and Treatment.
Asheville, NC
Lunas original owner from past relationship actually is incarcerated. He left Luna with my gf, and she promised she would take care of her until he got out. Well we are not really sure what is going on but we googled the symptoms and I am going to list what came back (Possibilities). These are the drastic changes she has started showing in past month. She pees uncontrollably. She is always dehydrated and its like she cant get enough water. She is constantly panting and its like no matter how much food she eats its never enough. Like I her original owner went to prison and my gf agreed and promised him she would look after her, although from what I was told by her; he really didin't treat Luna well and kept her confined in a small space 24-7. Like Luna is a blessing. She does a lot for me as far as for me, especially for support for my mental health. She is a great dog. She listens with no hesitation, and loves people. We are currently not working. She is preparing for treatment, and I am a fulltime college student. Like it breaks my heart that she is going through this and I cant help her. I mean I am willing to do whatever to get her healthy. She means a lot to both of us.

Pippin
Pippin is a 7 year old American Shorthair in Weaverville , NC, who needs $2,000 for Treatment for Pancreatitis, Infection and Lung Issues.
Weaverville, NC
I adopted Pippin in August 2016, in the middle of my divorce, at 3 months old. Now, with weeks before her 8th birthday, we're struggling to determine why she won't eat or drink. My bubbly (demands instant affection from all who enter our home) baby girl is improving but not out of the woods. She lives with her baby brother Raider, with whom she is bonded because of their close age. We're being treated at Haw Creek Animal Hospital because our regular mobile vet wasn't available for 10 days. We discovered she has an infection, pancreatitis, and diabetes. We can't start her insulin until we stabilize her. Today's follow up involved an xray, which showed something on her left lung's lower lobe. We've now had 4 visits this week, and one next week. Pippin is the loudest talker you'll ever meet. She's never met a stranger, even harrassing my apartment maintenance crew for love and pets. I can't go to the bathroom alone. She mothers her brother like he's her kitten, even 7 years later. I'm a freelance writer with inconsistent income and pay days. I am a board member of the Asheville Cat Weirdos Emergency Fund, and ineligible for assistance. My baby saved me during my divorce, and I can't imagine life without her.
