My kids and I adopted Anubis who was originally name Panther at a Humane Society. He was brought in with his brothers and sisters as a litter found outside and we instantly knew that was the best friend that our cat at home needed, and the addition to our family that we wanted. It’s just my 2 kids and I and our two cats. Anubis is the younger one, they are inseparable. Anubis has a history of eating things he shouldn’t, we thought we had it under control but two days ago he stopped eating and has just been puking and because lethargic so I took him to our vet. Jolly Road Veterinary Hospital in Lansing, MI. He is the funniest, weirdest, most loving cat. He loves the kids, greets us when we get home. He’s rambunctious, likes to play, drags his toys out of its box at night and leaves them around the house. He sits like a human and plops his body around to lay down. When he has the zoomies he parkours off the walls. He really is so unique and funny. I am a single mom of two, also a student and only am working a student position right now that is part time. I pay everything myself and take care of kids and pets also myself.

I rescued Precious off the streets when she was just 6 months old. I was nervous at first as I had never owned a Pit Bull before, but as soon as I saw her face, I was in love. The bond between us was instant and she follows me wherever I go in the house or yard. She is spoiled and allowed to be on the furniture, sleep in my bed or where ever she wants. I give her everything her heart desires. Precious has been diagnosed with 2 very large kidneys stones that can only be removed with surgery and the Jolly Road Vet Hospital in Lansing, MI said she needs this surgery ASAP in order to save her as the stones are irritating her bladder causing her to urinate blood. My dog is my world! She is my comfort and joy, never showing a mean bone in her body. She loves people and other animals. As you can tell by the pictures, one of her best friends is a cat, named Smokie. I know that after a hard day at work, Precious is there ready to give me doggie kisses and climb on my lap. She is my comfort on hard days and sunshine when I am down. I would be lost without her. I have already paid for 2 vet visits, 3 medications for Precious, an x-ray, and special dry food that is $40 for just 6 pounds. I don't make a whole lot and it barely covers my bills. I need my dog healthy to give me comfort and strength every day.

Jackson came into my life from Florida from a breeder. It was love at first site when I saw his baby photo. I was looking for a Merle Dane when I saw him and knew I needed his goofy, shy, cuddly loving wagging butt in my life. Jackson Fudge is seeking help as he was diagnosed with bone cancer. To save his life and prevent spread of it to going to any other part of his body he needs his leg amputated and started on chemo. He is in great pain as well as the cancer in his right leg makes it very painful for him to walk and at risk of his leg easily breaking. Jackson is being seen by Jolly Road vet hospital in Lansing MI. Jackson Fudge is a very special boy with a big heart. He really is a gentle giant that is considerate of others, as he watches where he steps when hoping into bed not to crush you. He loves cuddles, kisses and hugs. He makes the most adorable faces and has so much personality it’s like he is human. He loves all his fur brother and sisters who can’t go in the backyard or do anything without him. I really need your help as this was an unexpected expense that I was not prepared for especially when getting back on my feet from having surgery of my own. It would mean the world to me if I could help Jackson live longer, pain and cancer free.
