Romeo

Romeo is a 1 year old Sphynx in Wind Lake, WI, who needs $6,000 for Polyp Removal From Inner Ear- Soft Tissue Surgery.

Wind Lake

Romeo has been with us for a few weeks and has become the love of our life. Our two children and other cats absolutely adore him. We do not know much about his past, but do know previous vet care was seriously neglected due to the seriousness of his condition. With life-altering surgery Romeo can live a full, happy and pain free life. Romeo has a severe bilateral inner ear infection that was left untreated for a very long time. Dr. Moeser removed a polyp from his throat and saw multiple polyps in both ears on the MRI. He indicated the need for a soft tissue surgeon to promptly remove the polyps from the left ear first. We will seek this surgical intervention at Blue Pearl Vet in Glendale, Wisconsin. Romeo is such a kind and loving soul. He loves to cuddle with his people and will follow you everywhere you go. After the procedure Dr. Moeser performed, he can breathe better. Romeo is one of the most lovable enjoyable cats to have around. He loves everyone he meets and does not have a mean bone in his body! After paying for Romeo’s MRI and removal of the polyp in his oropharynx, we are struggling to come up with the funds for removal of the ear polyps. Removal of these polyps will ensure Romeo lives a full, complication free and happy life. Anything helps and is appreciated!

Cookie

Cookie is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in West Bend, WI, who needs $1,500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

West bend, WI

Cookie came into our lives when covid was starting to cooldown. Just shy of her 3rd birthday. She was being rehomed. We decided she was the one to get. She is a shy cat, she takes a bit to get use to us. She doesn't sit on your lap or like to be held. She did sleep by me and kept getting slowly closer. As I described before she did slowly get closer. Her preferred spot was either right next to me on the armrest of the couch or if someone was sitting next to me like one of my daughters and they got up she would steal their spot. She loves gentle belly rubs. We jokingly call her cookie (aka karen) because she didn't hesitate to tell us how she felt and the way she meows its like she's telling us how to do everything. I took cookie in to her vet and they said we should take her to the vet hospital. But she said it would probably cost $1500. I couldn't afford to do that. So they took x-rays, drained the fluid from around her lungs. And gave me some diuretic for her. They found saw some sort of mass in her intestinal area. But that needs an ultrasound. I would like to get her in to see what is wrong at bluepearl I emptied my bank account just to get the x-rays, the lungs drained. I am hoping to save her life as she is still so full of it.I would love to see her be conpletely herself again. I was diagnosed with lyme disease last year and im still struggling with it after treatment.

Photo of Ash

Ash

Ash is a 7-year-old Siberian Husky in West Allis, WI, who needs $2,000 for Thoracotomy.

West Allis, WI

We welcomed Ash as a member of our family 7 years ago. He is and always will be our first baby. He lives with us, Chris, Liz, and two children along with two furry siblings our cat Harlow and puppy Jax Four months ago, we lost his husky sister, Ruby at 5 years old to an untreatable bone cancer. He has been there with us through that period of grief and we emotionally got through it together. Ash is the eldest but also the baby in the house. He loves to play with his Great Dane younger brother, Jax. Our 6 and 3 year old daughters love to cuddle up with Ash. He spends all of his time indoors with us in our house during the summer. But in the winter, his husky nature comes out and he stays outside all day long! Like I said, he loves to be with his four legged friends, Jax(Great Dane puppy) and Harlow( rescued calico cat). He has a special bond with Chris and I and the girls. We enjoys having his alone time, but will never turn down a good scratch behind his ears. He loves to be vocal and howl when it is time for one of his favorite bones or treats. A few days ago, Ash was diagnosed with a spontaneous pneumothorax, or collapsed lung. Air is escaping from his lung causing excess air to pour into his chest cavity. The pressure from this air restricts his lungs from being able to help him breathe. The ER vet has placed a temporary chest tube port so that we can physically excrete this air from his chest 4x a day. Due to Ash’s condition, we were given an unexpected $10,000 estimate for this surgery to save his life. Please consider helping us in saving our baby and giving him a long healthy life.

Dayvi

Dayvi is a 3-year-old Pitbull terrier mix in Milwaukee, WI, who needs $2,000 for IVDD treatment.

Milwaukee, WI

Dayvi came into my life through MADACC. She was a rescue dog. I've had the dog since June of this year. I live with 2 cats. The dog and cats get along so perfectly. Dayvi is the most lovable pitbull you could have. She gives you kisses and loves to lay by you. Just loves people. Everyone who has seen her says she's such a happy doggy. Dayvi interacts with family members so perfectly. She lays by them and plays with the cats. She loves to scoot between the couch with you laying on it. When you give her treats, she loves anything you give, especially the frozen bone. The dog follows the cats around and follows you around when you take a shower or go in different room. She's going to need a bunch of rehab going forward. I used all my last money to cover the surgery. The rehab would give her chance to walk again. She will also need an additional hospital stay. Please, this dog is my life! Well this week the dog went to the dog park on Friday. Then Saturday we had take her to the vet because she wasn't acting right. They really didn't diagnose much except muscle strain and sent us home. The next day, well you couldn't have imagined, Dayvi lost function of both hind legs and had to have emergency spine surgery for IVDD. There's a chance her legs could still be paralyzed. So she is being treated at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists in Glendale on Silverspring. Dayvo makes me laugh in the car the backseat, she whimpers in the backseat sometimes when looks at dogs or people. Just wants to play. Also, I think she smiles and is so happy when she sits outside. She puts her head up to get all the air and smelling in. She loves dog parks. She's just happiest 3 year old dog you could see.

DIAMOND

DIAMOND is a 1-year-old BULLIE in Milwaukee, WI, who needs $1,800 for Parvovirus.

Milwaukee, WI

My princess, Diamond. The first time I met her, I fell in love with her chubby wubby. She was a bossy girl who always leads first in line. I'm a proud owner of Diamond and her brother Dino. She looks out for her brother, Dino because he was born with a S shape spin which causes his mobility hind leg to not as great. I wish this was all a dream; rush my princess to the emergency vet.... PARVO Diamond is the boss and whatever she says goes. Never gave up on helping his brother, Dino to never quite trying to walk with his back legs and she keeps him moving around. She very protective and never lets anyone she felt was a bad person come close to us. She really can be the sweetest and the naughtiest. When the pandemic hit in 2020, my job was cut short and my husband's job close the door for good. With his income of unemployment income, not enough to caught up on all the bills or hardship. Living paycheck to paycheck, not being mobilize is very hard to get around. Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists tested her positive for the most deadly and no vaccine to cure a canine parvovirus disease. She was weak and lifeless as she was unconscious for 1 whole day, feeding of a tube and IV. Vet Doctor discharge her as an outpatient care, with no funds, we were turn down on IV and some of her prescription and was told if we pay invoice they will release benefits for her. I always tell everyone who comes over to my house, "No eye contact with my princess, Diamond!" Reason why, she give you these cuties puppy sad eyes that you wouldn't be able to refuse. She never gives up on anything; she got that drive to never to quit.... The silly games she pulls on her brother everyday but at the end of the day....the love is what she never gets enough off....

Mamas

Mamas is an 8-year-old Mixed-Breed cat in Milwaukee, WI, who needs $425 for a veterinary examination and an X-ray.

Milwaukee, WI

We picked up Mamas about a year ago from someone who was moving and could not take her with. We chose to take her in instead of her being sent to a shelter. She immediately took to our kids and home, and fit right in with other cat already here. She quickly became the "boss" of all of us, wrapping us around her little paw. In the short time we've had her, she's brought so much joy to the house. It feels like we've had her since she was a kitten.

Milwaukee, WI

Halloumi, nicknamed "Hal" was rescued in January from Shawano, Wisconsin. She was found abandoned in a campground, covered in mud. This sweet girl was cleaned up, spayed, as well as vaccinated before I adopted her the end of January, 2019. Halloumi absolutely loves to play, chasing a foam ball up and down the hallway being a favorite. She loves to be petted, held, and of course, cat nap.
