Burrow

Burrow is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Germantown, WI, who needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Germantown, WI

Burrow is our little spunky pup that we adopted just over a year ago. He’s the apple of daddy’s eye and we love him so so much. He has been the sunshine on bad days so right now our hearts are breaking because he’s not feeling well. Burrow is sick with something that we are unsure of. We need to get him in asap because we are worried beyond belief and money is tight. We can’t even get him in any door without spending $200 we don’t have. He is our spunky happy pup who isn’t very spunky at the moment. He loves everyone and we can take him anywhere because he’s a good boy. He is our guard dog who will lick you to death haha. Burrow is quite literally daddy’s best friend. This is an emergency need that we didn’t prepare for. We normally would be fine but this is something we never expected. We had to pay a large bill so money is incredibly tight.

Zane came into our life when he was a tiny pup. He came from a litter of 5 pups. 3 boys qnr 2 girls. We have had him for 2 years now. We got him from a breeder that I also happen to work with. We live in a single family home where Zane lives to spend time with all of his family. He loves to play in the yard and go for walks. Zane us the happiest dog ever. Zane loves to play with his 2 brothers (my sons). They are the light of each others lives. Zane sleeps with me in our bedroom. He is always next to me. Zane is really my husbands dog though. He follows him everywhere he goes. Waits for him at the door. Zane has been such a blessing to our household. We would be lost without him. We always try to prepare for emergencies but with the world the way it is right now we are in a very serious financial strain as this is an huge unexpected expense. It would mean the world to us if we could get Zane the surgery he needs so that he is not in constant pain. Zaneisonly2 We discovered that Zane has degeneration in both of his knees. He He needs to go in for a tplo procedure. The condition is not a result of anything he did but just his genetics. Zane is only 2 years old so we want to make sure he is as healthy as possible and that he can live a pain free life. Zane is being treated at the Lakeshore Veterinary Specialist Hospital in Oak Creek, WI. Zane loves to play with plush toys. He throws them around and then catches them. Zane likes to be around people as much as possible. He wags his tail anytime someome walks by. He has the sweetest mentality and would never hurt a fly. Zane is afraid of small dogs even though he is twice there size!

Cody

Cody is a 4-year-old Rottweiler in Salem, WI, who needs 5,000 for cancer treatment.

Salem, WI

UPDATE*** Cody got his Radiation treatment. You can see he got a cape for being a super hero! He was brought in the vet specialists and we had to wait outside for 6 hours for everything to be done. It was upsetting and we wondered if he felt alone. BUT Cody also got pet of the month at the treatment center! They told us all he wanted to do was be with someone while recovering. So the vet assistants took turns cuddling with him in the cage. The fell in love with him. The other picture is him coming out of his first Chemo treatment. He was lethargic, the tech said he was sad like he thought we were not going to be there after the treatment. We were and he quickly trotted into my sons arms. So far we have made the payments with the credit cards, and a new loan. I hope somewhere a prayer will be answered and financial help will get better. Cody is only four-months-old and was just diagnosed with cancer. His family is absolutely crushed. "We got the most terrible upsetting news," his human mom, Kelly C. tells Waggle. "He had bone cancer in his leg. We were devastated. We turned into mush. My son could not understand how a kind loving animal, and his best friend could have this horrible disease." Most pet owners will tell you there's never enough time you can spend with your animals. It goes by too quickly. If Kelly and her family can't help Cody fight his cancer the time they've had with him will be significantly shortened. "We adopted Cody when he was 10 months old," Kellly says. "We found out how much of a lover he was. All he wanted was to be by you and be pet. Cody sleeps in the room with my son, Cody is my son's buddy and another brother." Cody is a dream come true for her son. "I went through a bad divorce, and my son was teased while growing up. He always helped and didn't let teasing stop him from doing the right things. When we finally got our own place he wanted a dog," she says. They found Cody listed on an adoption site. They were third in line to meet him, but they wanted him to be their dog so much they waited all day for the chance to meet him. And that was that! "We were given the chance to adopt him," Kelly adds. "Cody was what our family needed. He would sit on your lap if you let him, but is 150 pounds!" Recently Cody started to limp. Kelly figured he just sprained his leg because he loves to run. When his leg didn't get better she brought him for an X-ray and that's when she found out he has bone cancer.
