Aslan Arias

Aslan Arias is a 5 Month Old American Pit Bull Terrier in South San Francisco, CA, Who Needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery Foreign Body.

South San Francisco, CA

We adopted Aslan in August 2025 from SPCA in San Francisco. When we saw Aslan he was 2 months old and we fell in love with him, we decided to adopt and give him the loving home he deserves. Five days ago, we noticed that Aslan was not eating and not being playful. It was quickly apparent that our baby required help and we decided to bring him in to be seen at Lenity Vet Specialists + ER Care. They found a foreign body and explained the need for emergency surgery. Aslan our pet is very loving very playful. He loves everyone he meets, person or animal. He likes to climb into our bed when it’s cold outside and would prefer blackout curtains so he can sleep all day long. He’s very playful and loving. We love our Aslan very much. and then he’s very smart. We need your help to pay the expenses of this emergency surgery we can’t afford it we live paycheck by paycheck and we have nothing else to pay for it please help us to give our loving Aslan another chance!

Luke came to Lenity Vet Specialists in San Mateo, CA following a previous bladder surgery. Sadly Luke had become septic and was on the verge of death. He had an abscess at his surgery site snd numerous stones still in his bladder and urethra. Luke needs life saving care his wonderful family cannot afford. Please help save Luke’s life. He is a sweet boy! Luke is the most loving and easy to be loved Corso’s you would ever meet. He loves his family and any person or animal he meets on his daily strolls around the neighborhood. A gentle giant, he is the center of our universe and the light of our lives! Unexpected major expense that I won’t be able to fund myself. It is URGENT and family and I have no means at this moment. I have sold everything we could possible do

Speed Bump

Support Speedbump's Costly Surgery

S San Francisco, CA • The Purrfect Catch

One night, a caretaker from The Purrfect Catch rescue was feeding a community of cats, ensuring they had food, water, and medical care, and while making her final stop, one of the cats, who's name is now Speedbump, started running near her car, causing her to accidentally hit her with her back tire. She stopped immediately and searched for the cat with another couple in the car behind hers. They found this sweet cat, and thankfully, she was alert but obviously panicked and with potential back-end injuries. At the ER, she was placed in an oxygen box and put on some pain medication. She was found to be in stable condition, but X-rays revealed a shattered pelvis, which is a complex diagnosis with a few options for treatment. The team assessed her leg reflexes and determined she will need surgery that will cost between $8,000-$15,000, depending on the complexity of the surgery. This was a tragic accident, and The Purrfect Catch is doing everything they can to get her the proper medical attention she needs and to bring her back to health. With their funds already stretched thin, they are urgently asking for generous donations to help Speedbump heal. Any amount makes a difference. Thank you for your continued support!

Thea

Thea is a 8-month-old Domestic Shorthair Cat in Stanford, CA, who needs $500 for Surgery to Repair Fractured Femur.

Stanford, CA

Thea is a rescue I found abandoned on my college campus, scared, tired, hungry, and thirsty. I took her in 2 months ago and have been nursing her back to health since. She now lives together with me in my studio apartment and has settled in nicely after recovering from her spay surgery. I give Thea free range throughout the apartment because it's overall a bit small. She spends all of her time either sleeping, cuddling up against me (especially when I first get home), playing with or without me, or Her favorite toy is her mouse on a stick. I don't need even need to entice her with it and she'll find ways to simulate hunting it, carrying it away in her mouth when she's succeeded. She chirps whenever she plays--a reflection of her strong hunting instincts---and whenever she's excited, which is most of her waking life. Meows are strictly reserved for when I return after several hours away. I found Thea with a limp that hasn't fully resolved. After finding x-rays and a surgical consultation I could afford, it's now clear that she has a fracture in her femur just above her left knee that still hasn't healed---the bone parts are held together only by scar tissue. Dr. Kimberly Carlson at Lenity Vet in San Mateo, CA gives a good prognosis for corrective surgery. I couldn't help but rescue Thea when I found her, but I am a graduate student within "very low income" limits in my county and this surgery is ~$10,000 in that county. Surgery would give this very active otherwise healthy rescue the best chance at an active, pain-free life.

Photo of Lilikoi "Lili"

Lilikoi "Lili"

Lilikoi "Lili" is a 13-year-old Mix, Maltese, Pomeranian Yorkie in Foster City, CA, who needs $1,950 for Sacculectomy-Anal Gland Removal.

Foster City, CA

I found Lilikoi at a humane society shelter.Discovered on the street, scared, extremely thin, hair matted and filthy. It took nearly 4 months to get her to trust me and stop being afraid of men in baseball caps. I think that as her abuser. We have been together for 10 years. She is 13 years old. We are living with a friend as I can't financially or physically live by myself since my accident. Lilikoi is beloved by everyone in the household. She flirts for attention, rarely barks & never yaps, she loves baths & getting her hair blown dry. At first she was terrified of baths until she realized it came with a doggie massage! She sleeps with her "blankie" and stuffed rabbit (twice her size). She lives for chasing small critters. She even catches flies and eats them. Ugh! 10 pounds of spirt She loves treats, sleeping on her stuffed bunny. She sleeps with an old, ragged"Winnie the Pooh" blanket given to her by my childhood pal. She loves to wrestle with Cai (Corgi), play with little girls and ignoring the cat. As soon as she hears the shower running she runs to the bathroom and waits to be covered in her favorite old towel, always breathing a sigh of contentment once covered. Lilikoi has suffered with anal gland infection for many years. Now her bottom has numerous open sores that antibiotics can't heal, has chronic infections, suffers with severe chronic pain and issues with defecating. After seeing numerous vets over the years, we found a specialist who will treat her. I have searched for a vet who might treat her at a discount but have found none. Accident 4 years ago, broken spine, comminuted fracture right leg, broken clavicle, injured shoulder put me in a wheelchair. Forced to stop working, my medical bills took most savings. I recently fell due to the injury in my back and broke two front teeth costing $14,000.

James Z., and his Maltese, Jayden, are in quite a bind. Jayden started passing blood when he went to the bathroom. James rushed him to Pets Referral Center, where the medical team found he has a perineal hernia that needs to be repaired immediately. "This unexpected surgery will cost $8290," James tells Waggle. "I have been trying to get insurance for him, but it's too late. I know I made a huge mistake by not getting insurance." James is trying to raise the money so Jayden can get the life-changing operation. "My young children love our dog," James says. "He has been like a little boy to us. I sleep with him every night with the kids. He's been a very good dog to us."

Storm

Storm is a 5-year-old in San Francisco, CA, who needs $1,900 for Orthopedic Surgery to repair arm/elbow fracture.

San Francisco, CA

During renovation of a playground at our preschool our "Storm" kitty walked up to me in the pouring rain. She was wet, tiny, starving and no safe place to go. We took her home and began to do all the right things. We looked through the neighborhood for her family for days. We immediately started veterinary care and took very good care of her indoors. Storm is sweet and curious. She likes to play and adores her toys. We raised her, bottle fed her, and nurtured her to health...Unfortunately, she became too adventourous and made it outdoors where we found her injured:(...We felt so bad and yet she has been so great, sweet, and friendly. We need her to recover and live her best life! Storm is very curious and protective. She gives you clear indication when she wants attention. She cuddles in your arms and keeps you amazed as she finds her capabilities to climb and be adventourous. She will chew on your fingers to get you to pet her and purrs when comfy, she loves tummy rubs, and her water fountain that glows. She especially loves birdwatching. Lenity Vet Specialists 257 N Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo, CA 94401 www.lenity.com 6505136660 Our Specialist vet needs to do orthopedic surgery to put a tiny plate on her fractured arm to join and heal her front arm that she broke while outdoors exploring and had some kind of injury upon finding her bloody As an 18 year old preschool teacher and part time student it's expensive for me to come up with $8000 needed for her surgery. The vet knows she is able to be fixed but we need to pay for this.....
