Hodir
Hodir is a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Rowlett, TX, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.
Rowlett, TX
Hodir was the outcast of his litter, the pup no one wanted to adopt. I was looking for an emotional support dog to be my companion after I finished therapy and left a suffocating relationship. I fell in love with him as soon as I saw his picture and knew he had to be mine. I adopted him and raised him from a pup to be my little man and my best friend. Hodir has recently stopped eatong and will only eat a quarter or his daily required food intake every day. He's been losong weight, acting lethargic, and vomiting a watery substance. He has been showing signs of stomach pains as well. My previous vet, Rowlett Vet Clinic, made the situation worse to start so I'm looking at Liberty Grove Animal Hospital for help and have an appointment May 8th. Hodir is my snuggly little boy. He loves to play and cuddle, and knows when I need cheering up. He's very friendly, loving, and energetic. He has always been very treat and food oriented but recently, he's lost that side of him due to being sick. He hasn't been his playful self for quite some time. I recently lost my job April 8th and my new job is in a restricted training phase so my income is a quarter of what it should be. Having Hodir healthy again would give me my cuddly emotional support dog back who helps me get through these hard times.
Lucky
Lucky is a 2-year-old Vizsla in Rowlett, TX, who needs $1,672 for Amputation.
Rowlett, TX
Lucky has been in our family since March 2019. We gave him to our twins for their 13th birthday as we felt that was the perfect age to have a new pet. He was 7 weeks old when we got him from the breeder. He not only was a wonderful gift to my twins but for us as well. I think we were the ones blessed to get him. He has given us nothing but pure love and joy. If anything, he is our doggie soulmate! Lucky runs the house. Every night he sleeps with one of us in our beds, under the covers (even in the summer). On the weekends we like to go to different nature preserves and go hiking. He is a great walking mate (most of the time he is dragging me). He also like to swim at the lake. His favorite place to hang out during the week when we are away is Camp Bow Wow so he can play with his friends. The reason I am requesting help is because this past year I quit my job to go back to school. We are living on one salary and don't have the extra funds to get Lucky healthy and out of pain. He is no longer walking on his front right leg because of how much pain he is in. Lucky started to grow a lump on his right wrist. After taking him to 2 vets and a specialist, they was determined that he has Osteosarcoma. The treatment includes amputation of the from right leg. After the leg is amputated and sent to be tested we will then know if Chemotherapy is necessary. The surgery will be preformed at Liberty Grove Animal Hospital by Dr. Michelle Hoag. Lucky's favorite treat is to get a new bullystick or dried cow lung from the pet store. He can pretty much eat it in one evening. At night he usually gets a second wind before bed and gets the crazy "zoomies". He runs around the house like a mad dog and then passes out for the night. Lucky truly runs the house.

Deuce aka Buck
Deuce aka Buck is a 2-year-old American Bulldog in Rowlett, TX who needs 865 for surgical pin removal, for fracture repair.
Rowlett, TX • Rowlett Animal Services
Deuce aka Buck was found under a picnic table on the side of the road with a broken leg, he looked like he had just been hit by a car. He was very sweet from the very beginning even while dealing with the initial injury, but now the vet thinks the pins have shifted in the bone and are causing him pain.
