Shadow
Shadow is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Milton, , who needs $1,250 for Hospital Stay and Blood Transfusion.
Milton
Shadow just walked into our home. He was left behind by a neighbor and decided he lived with us. He has since been a member of our family and is best friends with my two year old son. He has a mass on his face and is severely anemic. We’re still figuring it out, but he already had to have a blood transfusion and has dropped to only 4 pounds. He’s currently staying in the hospital. Shadow loves cheese and cuddles. His favorite nap spot is my husband lap. He loves to play with my son and likes to hide in dark places and startle us. He’s lovable and even wants strangers to pet him. We have already racked up an estimated $1250.. We live paycheck to paycheck. I’m a teacher and my husband is a computer repair tech whose pay is based on the calls he gets. It’s very hard for us to come up with the money. We did use cherry, but even that is going to be tough

He was hurt, bleeding, and couldn't even stand to find shelter from the rain. It seemed like he had been hit by a car. Thankfully, some kind students on campus found him and called for help. Animal control came and took him to the emergency room right away. Without an owner, the ER policy is to euthanize but, fortunately, they called us first, One By One Animal Advocates to see if we will accept. Of course we did! Tiller has a severely fractured leg at the distal femur, which can’t be saved. He’ll need to have it amputated. The vet team were concerned about head or chest trauma because his nose hasn’t stopped bleeding, but additional XRYs didn’t reveal internal damage. Now, he needs to be hospitalized and observed, treated for pain, shock, infection, and have his leg amputated. Please help us save Tiller! Your donation is big or small, will go a long way.
