Scout
Scout is a 1-year-old Mix in Bloomington, IN, who needs $2,000 for TTA Surgery (ACL/CCL).
Bloomington, IN
We adopted Scout from C.A.R.E just a few days after her amputation. Scout was found dumped on the side of the road with a badly broken arm. This led to her getting her arm amputated, and becoming a tripawd. Given that adorable face, and her rambunctious attitude, there was no doubt in our minds that she belonged in our family. Scout is one of the most energetic dogs you will ever encounter. Although she only has three legs, you would never be able to tell by the way she acts. She is always biting on her brother's neck, juking him out, or running circles around the couch in a fit of zoomies. Yet, she is also the biggest cuddle bug with her nickname being "licky-lick" as she is the BIGGEST face licker. Although she had a rough start to life, that doesn't exempt her from her princess behavior. She might be a lover, but boy is she stubborn. When we first got her we had to try 4/5 food brands until she found the one she liked (only fish will do, no poultry). If she doesn't feel like walking anymore she'll just plop down right there. Our king sized bed? You mean HER bed. Given her energetic behavior, Scout unfortunately has torn her CCL/ACL, and since she is a tripawd as it is, she is basically down to two legs. She is being treated by Dr. Brain Thunberg (based in Bloomington, IN). During x-rays to prepare for surgery, we also discovered that Scout suffers from hip dysplasia, as well as arthritis. I am a graduate student, who, well, lives on a graduate budget. Since, getting Scout she has been one of the primary (if not sole) sources of my happiness, and I just want to provide her with the best life possible. She already has suffered enough.

Lola Mae
Lola Mae is a 10-month-old American PitBull Terrier Mix in Bloomington , IN, who needs $2,000 for Luxating Patella.
Bloomington, IN
Lola Mae came into our life September 2022, she was only 1 month old, my husband friend was giving her away and we took her in for our children and have had her every since and she is one of our children, goes everywhere with us and does everything with us. Lola Mae has her own bed and sleeps in our room between our beds, and their are times she sleeps with us in our bed also. She is a very lovable and enjoyable dog that is very well maintained and respected. I just gave birth 7 weeks ago and she is so over protective of the baby, she is constantly at the babies side. Lola Mae is a very lovable and enjoyable dog, one of her favorite things to do is give kisses in the face, she is just like a human, she sits down to eat with us, she goes to bed when we go to bed, when we leave she goes with us 85% of the time. She is very well behaved. She likes to sit, shake, and spin for treats. Everything about her makes us happy and she puts a smile on our face daily. Hi my name is Lola Mae and I am a 10.5 month old American PitBull Terrier Mix, and I just went to the vet, because my back legs have started giving out on me and I collapse and my mommy has to sometimes pop my knees back in place, it is very painful for me, so my mommy to me to the vet and I have been diagnosed with Luxating Patella in dogs, and it requires me to have surgery on my back legs. I have been off work since August 2022, I was in a really bad car accident door dashing and was put on medical leave, then found out I was pregnant and put on bed rest.
