Luna
Luna is a 7 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Brownsburg , IN, who needs $2,000 for Exam and Potential Emergency Procedure.
Brownsburg, IN
Have you ever gone with someone to get a dog for them only to end up up getting one for yourself? This is what happened with our dog Luna. I went to get a pup with my mom, and I saw Luna and my son and I just had to have her. A dog never comes into your life by accident, every dog has a purpose/ and story. Luna has been my companion and best friend, especially since my son is now older. Luna has been dealing with some issues lately of not being able to keep food down. She wants to eat but then after doing so she ends up getting sick. She also is having some bowel issues. I am disabled and on a fixed income and I really want to get her checked out. When I can afford it I'm taking her to Noah's animal hospital on crawfordsville road. I'm just hoping that my best friend is okay. Luna is our very first Australian cattle dog. She has so many funny behaviors like her different barks, The way she digs and rolls and rubs her face after eating. She definitely is a one person dog but she has bonded with my son even though she mainly is my dog. Luna has been with me through ups and downs, but she never wavers. After all the times she's been there for me I want to be there for her My pressing financial need is I'm on disability income which is a very fixed income. Next to paying my bills and buying food they're really isn't enough money to be able to help my dog. I love my dog and I want to see her live her best life. She gives so much to me.

Bella
Bella is a 9 year old American Longhair in Mooresville, IN, who needs $800 for Visit, Ultrasound of Abdomen and Medications.
Mooresville, IN
Bella is a rescue that was found in a garage with her sister. They were about 5 weeks old and had been abandoned. We have had them ever since and have been the main loves of our lives as our children moved out. She has a bad UTI and we just recovered from a major flood in our home and can’t afford the bill. I did apply for Care Credit but unfortunately we were not approved. We have 3 cats but Bella is most definitely the Mom of the 3. She took our kitten under her wing about 2 years ago and the two are inseparable. But the kitten has also brought a new energy out in Bella and she plays a lot now like she’s younger. She’s the light of our home for sure! It breaks my heart to know there is something medically wrong with her that we cannot pay to get care for. I can tell she is uncomfortable and wish there was help available in the form of credit because I would take that route before asking for help.

Hopper
Hopper is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Crawfordsville, IN, who needs $500 for Seizures.
Crawfordsville, IN
Hopper came to from a family friend. he gave me hopper about 2 or 3 years ago. his name is hopper bc when he was little he hopped around like a bunny. I was told that when he was little he was locked in a cage most of his life. When I got him his hair was so long he couldn’t see and the harness he was wearing was matted to his fur. So we got him cleaned up and hes the best he’s attached to me. After awhile of having him he had his first seizure. I wasn’t sure what was causing It. I thought maybe it was low blood sugar so I gave him some sugar water on his gums but that didn’t seem like it was helping. But a while later I moved in with my boyfriend and he had another one. Now he’s having them about 1or 2 ever couple weeks or so. We have 3 other dogs their bigger dogs and hopper is little but he still love to play with them. But hopper is like emotionally attached to me. He follows me everywhere I go. If I leave the house he will sit on the back of the couch and he will whine and watch the window to look for me. And when I get home he waits for me at the door and jump all over me when I walk in. I don’t get paid a lot and I’m trying to get hopper to the vet to see why he’s having seizures and if there’s a way to help him. I don’t want him to get worse. I’ve tried care credit and scratch pay it all says I’m not eligible. I just wanna help him get better.

Bella
Bella is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Plainfield , IN, who needs $7,500 for Humerus Repair.
Plainfield, IN
Bella was obtained after the death of iur previous dogs death after having her for 14+ years. Bella is our baby and definitely part of the family we’ve had her since she was 11 weeks old she was born May 4,2024. She keeps us company and helps fill the void we would have without her. Bella has a big back yard but at times she likes to escape out the front door. On the day of accident she slipped out the garage before I had her collar on she runs around for a while then is tired and ready to come home. My husband and I are in our 70’s so it’s hard to run after her I was getting ready to cross the street to get her when a truck came by and she ran in front of it on her way. Bella is very loving and is always near by. Everyone loves her and she loves the attention. We love being able to walk her and play ball and just watch her We live in social security and her operation to fix her humerus is a lot. It’s between $5000-7500. Just a lot to try to come up with and pay off. We love her and we will skimp to help her out.

Apollo
Apollo is a 4 year old German Shepherd Dog in Indianapolis, IN, who needs $1,000 for Ear Surgery.
Indianapolis, IN
A co worker blessed me with this perfect dog cause my two kids really wanted a dog and I didn't have the money to be able to adopt a dog. Apollo has gotten me through so many rough times since I have had him. He's very loyal and very protective of my family especially my kids. His left ear is swollen badly and poor guy is suffering. He needs to have surgery on his ear to clean out the clots and to heal this guy back to normal. The vet hospital is Noah's all pet in Plainfield, Indiana Me and my kids have grown so attached to him Apollo literally will follow me and stay by my side even in our own home. My daughter has anxiety and Apollo can sense she is have a spell and go to her and kiss her and and will lay right next to her till she is ok. My son thinks of him as his brother and them two really do brother stuff lol He also loves to watch my son play video games. It's been really hard to manage and pay all the bills given I am a single father of two kids and then something like this happens is truly breaking my heart cause he is a family member and it's killing me and my children with even the thought of having to surrender him.

GOOFY
Goofy is a nine-year-old Beagle in Franklin, IN, who needs $2,000 for urgent tumor removal surgery.
FRANKLIN, IN
When animal control officers saw how terrified Goofy looked in the shelter and how much he needed medical care, they thought Taffy's Touch Senior Dog Rescue was likely Goofy's only hope. "He was involved in a pet hoarding case. He had no human contact for a year. He had been kept outside in an igloo-type dog house. He is very afraid of humans," Tabatha M., with the rescue, tells Waggle. The group said they'd take Goofy. When Tabatha picked him up, she was shocked. "I was not prepared for the condition he was in," she says. Goofy had a mass the size of a football! It broke open and was extremely infected. He had been dragging the mass when he walked for months. She brought Goofy straight to Noah's Westside Animal Hospital. The medical team ran tests, and from what they can tell the tumor is cancerous but has not spread. Now the rescue is trying to raise the money so Goofy can have his urgent surgery to remove the mass and have it sent to pathology. "Goofy deserves a chance to live out the rest of his years in a healthy loving environment after what he has been through," Tabatha says. "Just looking in his eyes on the way to the veterinarian, I think he finally knew he was safe. Taffy's Touch runs completely on donations and fundraising. To save these seniors' lives and to take in more dogs it takes people's generosity to do so. Goofy deserves so much more than the life he has lived so far."
