Oakley has been a cherished member of our family since we brought him home as a puppy. He is a 5-year-old Red Merle Australian Shepherd who has grown up surrounded by love and has always been an important part of our household. Oakley is an inside dog and spends his days with our family, where he is treated as more than just a pet—he is truly family. Oakley is suspected with Addison’s disease, a lifelong condition that requires ongoing medical care, including monthly injections, daily medication, routine blood work, and regular veterinary visits. If there is water anywhere—a puddle, creek, lake, sprinkler, or hose—you can count on Oakley finding it. He absolutely loves the water and will happily play in it every chance he gets. Winter is his favorite season because he is obsessed with the snow. Oakley is also the biggest cuddle bug. I am a single mother raising my child on my own, and after losing my mother in December, my life was turned upside down. The grief was overwhelming, and I struggled to cope while trying to maintain my job. Having Oakley healthy again would mean everything to our family.

She was given to my little boy she was the runt of the litter and no one wanted her.she loves to play fetch with toys and love red wennies to eat that is her favorite food She was playing with er sister and her eye popped out of the socket and north Davidson vet hospital said it has to come out and she will need surgery to remove it. Cutie pie has been my baby for four years she sleeps with me and loves to ride in the car when she can get to she love to play fetch with her toys every morning My husband lost his job and we are struggling to pay the bills and we just can't afford the bill for her surgery and the vet want do payments and wants it all up front

Shadow came into my life 3 yrs ago along with his brother. The owners were going to surrender them to the animal shelter so I stepped up and took them in. Shadow is very precious to me. He is an awesome sweet cat. He isn't feeling well and I need help to get him to the vet asap. I can't bare to lose him. He has a fever and is lethargic. Not eating or drinking. Shallow breathing. I'm going to take him to North Davidson vet or any vet that would be a good fit for him He is really special and a good kitty. He is very laid back and quite calm. He loves to go outside and venture around the backyard. He is such a a special kitty. I'm currently not working and really need to get him to the vet asap. I'm stressed to the max about this situation with him. He deserves to get better and receive treatment.

Geronimo is an incredibly sweet dog I’ve had him two years his previous family couldn’t have him anymore so they let me have him. I’ve been in his life for ever though even before I owned him he use to stay with me He sleeps in the bed with us, he thinks he is a lap dog he is super jelly so if we are talking and not paying him mind then he will literally lay on our face. Jayden my 11 year old daughter absolutely adores him and so do we. Oh and if we leave the house he has to come he will make sure he is not left behind! He won’t eat my cat but I think he might fantasize about it. He likes to howl like he is a Wolf or something he likes to trick you when you’re trying to leave w/o him best believe he will make it around you he has to be over 100lbs and he thinks he is a lap dog he doesn’t really like the cat if he is out side eating his food and if the cat is watching him through the screen door he will randomly turn around and take a running jump to scare her it’s funny I’m not sure what happened to him he was fine until he went running around with a female dog he actually took my husband out while running it was to funny but the next day he could not walk like he pulled something in his back leg he got better and now it’s worse he can’t walk at all we have to carry him plus on his front leg there is a spot that won’t heal He is like our child he means the world to us someone stole our previous dog and we’ve yet to find her so losing him would be more then devastating he does everything with us he is such a big part of our life I wish we could afford to take him to the vet I just don’t have $$

Me and my husband got Eli from a lady who had to rehome him we instantly feel in love then we had our daughter a few months later and I Eli instantly feel in love with our baby girl our daughter is almost 2 years old and Eli has been in her life since the day she was born my husband and I love our dog Eli and he is most definitely spoiled he is so. With 4 legs we always go places together even if it’s just a ride to the store we have had Eli for some time now and he has always been a happy healthy little dog he is our best friend the son we don’t have and our fur baby

Roy was rescued from an abusive home when he was approximately 7 months old. He was too scared to make a sound for 1.5 years and I thought his vocal cords had been cut. He finally got excited and yipped one day, scared himself so bad he wet himself. It took him a very long time to be comfortable with making sounds but he now barks when the other dog barks. He will only play by chasing his tail...until he sees you watching, then he thinks he's in trouble and stops. I can't get him to play with any toys. He is approximately 11 years old and my 24 year old son is his world!! Roy doesn't really care about the other dogs, but he don't know how to act if he can't be with my son (and visa versa) he has extreme separation anxiety. He goes from my son's bathroom door to me, back and forth, crying the entire time my son is in the bathroom. I lost my 16 year old toy poodle on June 4, 2018 and that was Roy's buddy until my son moved back in with me in 2017. My son has Cerebral Palsy, a cardiac condition, and major depressive disorder - to name a few, and Roy is his companion. They are always together. What we are going through right now is hard on me, but more-so on him, because of this. Even though I have had his teeth cleaned multiple times, with this breed, bad mouths are common and he has had some teeth removed. He lost one at home on it's own in the same location as one that was pulled and his jawbone no longer had support and has broken.

I have had Shorty since day one. Shorty was a puppy in a litter of one of my older deceased dogs little bit in which I had for 19 years. Shorty is like my child and has been who I've depended on for comfort through 2 misscareges and much more. LOVE this baby as much as I do my own child. Shorty is my daughter's best friend she loves laying with her at night and looks forward to sing is everyday never a dull moment with her.
