Novato, CA
Aziz came to our home about a year and 8 months ago, he is a rottie mix. We got him from a friend of the family.after searching we came across the name aziz wich means big and strong! Aziz has been such an amazing pup from the beging bringing our family joy, love, and laughter! At about a year old aziz started having seizures un his sleep.they became more frequent. We took aziz to multiple vet e.rs then landed at v.e.g where they helped get him on seizure meds! Hes been minimized to 1 seizure a month! But now is faced with having a spleen surgery. We are deeply sadden for our boy as we can not afford this procedure. Aziz is amazing with our 5 year old boy and our oldest of 14 years. Aziz is a gentle giant at 106 pounds he loves to cuddle and his spirit animal is a lap dog. Aziz has two four legged brothers that he loves and also a stuffed sheep called lamy that he just does not leave behind. Aziz is very active and loves to voice his opinions.he enjoys long talks about anything u might be eating We are a family of 4. Wife is a t.k teacher and im a barber. We have a 5 year old boy and a 14 year old boy.i know the boys are heart broken to see our gentle giant like this. It would mean the world to all 4 of us to give aziz the life he deserves

Sasha
Sasha is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever in San Rafael , CA, who needs $10,000 for Treatment for DKA - Life Threatening Diabetes.
San Rafael, CA
my husband picked out our dog 7 years ago. Three years later, my husband passed away. Today my dog was diagnosed with diabetes and also known as DKA. it’s life-threatening and she is currently in the hospital. I can only afford one day in the hospital even though they want her to stay in for 4 to 5 which would be around $10,000.She’s a very sweet silver lab. I am seeking funds for my dog because she is now diabetic and will have to get insulin shots every day. We don’t know if one day is going to be enough in the hospital, but it’s all I can afford. She might recover from this or she might notbut usually dogs with DKA only survive around two years maybe more if managed properly she is currently staying at PET EMERGENCY specialty center of Marin my girl Sasha a.k.a. Sashi is very friendly has never been confrontational with any dog or human. She sleeps on my feet at night and wakes me up in the morning. She likes to go for walks and she loves bully sticks. I am currently in a financial situation because my husband passed away. I do not have his income. I had to take a job with taking less money an hour with no benefits. it’s a sad day when you have to worry about fixing your plumbing or keeping your dog alive.

mao
mao is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in San Rafael, CA, who needs $2,000 for Initial FLUTD.
san rafael, CA
My cat was found on the streets by a friend of mine. I wasn’t aloud to have pets but my mom told me I could get him. It was as if it was fate for him to come to our home. I’ve had him for 2 years. We are the best of friends. We can always count on each other. I was so lucky that my friend gave him to me and being able to live life by his side. I noticed that he wasn’t able to pee and took him to the vet and they were charging 5k for a bladder blockage. Since I wasn’t able to afford it they told me another method was to take him home and give him medicine and hopefully he would be able to pee at home. He hasn’t and I am so worried. I want to take him back to the vet and give him the medical attention he needs. Mao is the calmest most clingiest cat you will meet. He is super friendly. He is gentle towards everyone. He knows when it’s 10 pm somehow and always tries to put me to sleep. I’m not sure what i would have done without him, he’s the best companion ever. I got into an accident recently so all of my emergency money went to that. I am also a college student who pays for her school out of pocket with no financial aid.

Gordo
Gordo is a one-year-old English Mastiff in Ukiah, CA, who needs $2,000 for an MRI.
Ukiah, CA
When you look at the adorable pictures of Gordo and his human family, there is no doubt he is cherished and loved. "Gordo, or as my daughter says, "GORDY," came into our life when he was nine weeks old, and he quickly stole all of our hearts," Amanda T., his human mom, tells Waggle. "He is now a little over a year old." When Gordo was young, Amanda worried he might have hip issues, and now their beloved dog is in severe pain. His veterinary team believes his problems are likely neurological, and he needs an MRI at the Pet Emergency Specialty Center of Marin to get some answers. The scan is $3500. Amanda doesn't have the money to pay for the MRI, but Gordo desperately needs it. "With our current living situation, we can't afford additional monthly expenses. Gordo is not just a dog; he is family. He is our first pet as a family unit," Amanda says. Unfortunately, pet insurance won't cover Gordo's scan because veterinarians have treated him for this medical issue in the past, and now it's considered a pre-existing condition. Amanda and her family are heartbroken and desperately trying to raise the money to help Gordo. "Every night, he sleeps right next to Olivia's (Amanda's daughter) bed. I don't think we could ever break this habit even if we wanted to. Gordo gets so excited and loves to be around people he has to be the center of attention," Amanda adds. Will you help Gordo get the MRI he needs?
