Nala

Nala is a 6 year old Rottweiler in Stevens Point , WI, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Stevens Point, WI

Nala was a gift to me from my sister after my dog of 13 years passed away. Nala healed my broken heart and stole it when she came home at 8 weeks old. She has started limping right before Christmas, and now is favoring her back leg again after playing. I want to get her healed again. She is my baby, my snuggle bug, my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without Nala. Nala started limping before Christmas. She was doing better, but tonight while playing she stepped wrong and started favoring her left back leg again. She is currently being seen at Point Area Veterinary Clinic in Stevens Point, WI Nala is a sweetheart and loves everyone. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but protects her family. She loves all animals and have a bunch of friends. She still has a lot of years left. Nala's injury is unexpected. She's being treated with medication, but I feel like it may require surgery to repair the injury. Nala is only 6 years old and could benefit from the surgery if needed. I don't have an emergency fund to pay for an expensive vet bill.

Doja

Doja is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Stevens Point, WI, who needs $1,000 for Blood Work and Stool Samples.

Stevens Point, WI

Doja was my first ever pet and is now considered my first born child. She has gotten me through many things and is the sweetest, most cuddly baby. In our home is just her, myself, and our sweet kitten boy Princeton. Doja is 2 yrs old and was bought as a kitten to be a child’s Christmas present. She’s in my care now, so you can imagine how that went. She is the best thing to happen to me:) In the last month, she’s been having some odd symptoms. First, she began going #2 outside of the litter box. It only occurred when I was gone, and it’s gotten more frequent. I noticed her scooting her butt across the floor like a dog which was a red flag for me as well. Yesterday I found a surplus of blood in her stool as well as blood drops on the floor. I am concerned about what this could mean. Everyone is bias about their pets, but Doja is truly one of a kind. She fears no one. She loves to climb up nudge her head into yours and tells you to love her. She will even meet you at the door! She is unbelievably well behaved and has no negative behaviors. No climbing on counters, no peeing where she shouldn’t, no eating/biting things she shouldn’t. She does no wrong, she’s truly amazing. I’m a full time student. I work at a bar on weekends. I can easily afford check ups, food, litter, toys, and other things the kitties deserve. I’m fearful on how much the blood work/ other work will cost. I was not approved for Care Credit & am struggling to find the funds.

Yoshi

Yoshi is a 6-year-old Lab/Shepherd Mix in Stevens point , WI, who needs $1,200 for Mass Removal and Testing for Cancer.

Stevens point, WI

Yoshi came to us as a rescue as puppy at about 11 weeks old. We got him from a Humane Society. He was first my dad's dog until my dad has passed away in 2019. Then Yoshi got attached to me and I of him. He is not my comfort pet when I need him to be he is always there. Yoshi loves everyone in the household and will go to anyone in the household when called. He is a gentle giant. He looks out for his older brothers. If we tell him to go get your brother he will go and bring them in if they are outside. He "protects" his house from the mail carrier. Yoshi loves to protect our two girl guinea pigs. He will give them kisses and that just melts my heart. He will protect them from the two cats we have even if the cats are just walking by he will scare them away. Sometimes he has accidents where he will hit his head either on the kitchen table or on a door. All you hear is a clunk. But he is a tough dog. He is a very loving dog. Yoshi has no prior health conditions. I am looking for help with paying for his tumor removal and to test that tumor to see if it is cancerous or not. Plus we have to do other bloodwork done before the surgery. I'm looking for help because I am currently a college student and this was a sudden expense I was not ready for. I always had pets but none of them ever got a tumor. This is my first time around with this. Any help would be appreciated.
