I got Sake from a rescue shelter around 8 years ago when i just moved out of the house. She was very malnourished at the time and had really bad teeth. Ive been trying to manage them but have been living paycheck to paycheck and have not had the money to get them taken care of the way they needed to be. Recently Sake had an abscess on her mouth that the ER gave me antibiotics to treat, but they stressed she needed immediate dental care in order to resolve. I called all over and Premier Pet Dentistry was the only place with availability within the month. In addition to most of her teeth needing to be removed, they also found other medical issues needing attention. Sake had a very rough time before I adopted her. She was very skinny with patchy fur and clearly traumatized by whatever happened before she got rescued. She has become the sweetest house dog ever and we have gotten eachother through some very rough periods. I have only recently found a secure housing situation for the first time in my life but this is now threatened by this situation. I work full time as a bartender but my job just barely covers my living expenses. The surgery and tests she needs imminently are estimated to be around 4-5k and there will probably be more expenses once they figure out what is causing her other medical issues.

Mr Whiskers used to be a neglected stray until I took him to the vet to get looked at for an infection I noticed from most likely a cat fight, almost 2 years ago. He was all better once he saw the vet. We have been inseparable since I took him in and began getting him seen by a vet. We live together in our own small space after much needed change for our lives A year ago while we were asleep in bed together, a group of men broke into our home and stole some of my stuff at gunpoint. Mr Whiskers assists me when we go on walks and on car rides to the store or to visit other family nearby. At home we talk play and lounge together, he even critiques my cooking. He is extremely friendly Mr Whiskers is like a dog, I walk him on a leash and he will go outside to go to the bathroom and come right back in when he is done. He will follow me without a leash wherever I go. He enjoys car rides and walking in quiet parks. He has very long whiskers, hence his name Mr. Whiskers: ) He is my best friend Mr Whiskers was seen at Premier Pet Dentistry by Dr. Martin and was diagnosed with stomatitis, which explains the pain he experiences when he tries to eat food even pate and mousse cat food and liquid food. They gave me an estimate ranging from if only a few diseased teeth are extracted to if a full mouth extraction really is needed to clear up the stomatitis so he can eat comfortable again I have been on unemployment since I was a victim of an armed home invasion a year ago which caused me to lose my job for ptsd and anxiety to leave home. We just got into our own place and I want to give him what he needs to be healthy like he does for me
