We brought Harlei from a breeder as a Christmas gift for our daughter. We got her when she was 8 weeks old, but she was so small, she looked 4 weeks old. We asked for a male puppy, but ended up with Harlei. She is an exciting addition to our family as she & her mother (our 6 year old daughter) act just alike. Harlei was the runt of the pack, but shares a lot of attitude & excitement to our lives. Harlei jumped out her grandpa arms excited to play with him when she landed she fractured her front left paw. If we cannot get this surgery we will have to have her leg amputated. I want Harlei to enjoy her long life with all 4 paws. It breaks my heart to think we may have to do this as it is the cheaper option. Harlei is very energetic & playful she loves to play fetch and to be rubbed on her belly. Her paw being broken has taken her outgoing personality so much. We are first time pet owners & we are getting on our feet to become financially stable. This tragic event is out of the blue for us & we cannot afford it. We can barely afford to get her leg amputated. This is very heartbreaking as I don’t want our puppy in discomfort

Sophie is my baby of the house, she is 1 yrs old & she is not afraid of anything or anyone, she loves the water, & held like a little baby, & ever so vocal. Sophie just showed up at my door one day We would spend all day together after work until bedtime, in the morning I would feed her, comes home a call for her & she would come. Eventually I got the paid to get her shots so she could come in Sophie needs an emergency spay immediately, due to a life threatening infection called Pyometra,. Pyometra is a life-threatening bacteria infection and it is fatal, right now any day can be her last day, but with surgery she 92% survival. She has an appointment at Petco's medical clinic to confirm, than she will being going to Reidville Vet Hospital. I can add more as I know more. I know I said somethings about Sophie already., but she is amazing anytime she hears the shower on here she comes & she will jump up as soon as I get out of the shower so I have to quick wrap a towel around, she is the 1st baby at the door to say hi, she loves affection and cuddles, and to beat up on her uncle Edgar, and scare her grandma Nina. She is the definition of "if I fits, I sit" The economy the way it is, financial wages do not match what is being asked. I just put $300 into my car on Friday. I am the only paying bills right now but my fiance and I are also going through a immigration process that we just put $600 down on. We were not expecting this

Bailey came into my life at a time that I really needed her. I was having a struggle making it through day by day life, unhappy and just hurting. At the time of my exiting the military I was at my lowest and she came into my life like any other would, she was a stray, nothing to be there, tiny little puppy and that’s when our bond really came together. Bailey is currently fighting to keep going, she had surgery to remove a foreign object, of which we can’t understand what it was or why she ate it, she got the surgery and now we are raising money to help with that cost, and also to help be able to keep her at the vet to make sure she will make it Bailey is a dog that will love anyone, she’ll be there when you are upset, she’ll cuddle when she thinks you feel alone. She’s done so much as to jump into my lap when playing video games and I’m upset or seems not normal. She’s been my best friend and more to myself and others her whole life Income, as it comes is hard enough as it is, events like this will always happen at the worst times. On military disability, and working a little bit helps but not having her at home is driving me insane, having her home would be bringing my other half home.

Wolfgang or Wolfie as we call him is an 8 year old Yorkie. He lives with me and my sister's family of four. He is showered with love and he has a safe home. His wardrobe consists of all weather coats collected from thrift stores. He has pancreatitis, but with special care has not had another attach since diagnosis several years ago. Wolfie taught my niece not to be afraid of dogs. He loves to curl up on her bed when he is invited upstairs. He keeps me going by walking me several times a day and loosening up my arthritis. He wants to be with his family and dinner time is a group activity. He has watched over several family members while they were recovering from surgery. Wolfie never meets a stranger. He is loving and will insist on visiting the neighbor's 3 year old grandson when he is home. Wolfie is gentle with him. He is very easy going only barking when he really needs something. When we realize he has been telling us something is wrong with him, he with stay by you and come back after treatment in a behavior we have learned means thank you. Sunday we noticed Wolfie's ear bleading. I drove him 30 minutes to Reidsville Veterinary Clinic in NC for urgent care treatment that is not available here. He has a mass blocking the ear canal that has to be removed and biopsied. He is whimpering, so we know he is is in pain. We had to schedule the surgery asap so it is next week on March 19, 2024. I work as a healthcare aid and had my work hours cut by medicaid patient reviews. I have medical issues that insurance will not cover and bills that leave very little to spare. It is important to me that we continue to take the best possible care of Wolfie that we can.
