Joey

Joey is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $5,700 for TPLO Surgery.

Los Angeles, CA

Joey came into our life 7 years ago when my son saw a Craigslist post about puppies needing a home quick or they will be taken to the local shelter. Joey chose us. His name is from the TV show Friends, Joey Tribbiani. Nickname, Chunk. Currently are only dog. Loves small dogs and cheese.Loves Bob Marley and watching Bluey. Last winter, we took Joey to his favorite dog park in West Hollywood. He started limping so we took him to his doctor and got an x-ray and the X-ray confirmed a torn CCL. What we are looking to accomplish is a TPLO surgery for Joey's left knee because he is having a really hard time going up and down our stairs and walking on a torn ligament. This would be the only fix for his specific situation. The reason why we feel Joey is special is because Joey loves everyone. Every animal, every person. He is large and in charge when he greets people and other animals. He doesn't know that he's a giant. He knows that he's the baby of the family and that he can get anything he wants. Whenever he is walking people always stop to greet him because that's the kind of dog Joey is. Full of love. Me and my husband are currently working but when it comes to the surgery it is very hard because we do not have anything saved because the price of living is hard. Having the surgery for Joey would be a blessing, no other words. We have got denied for every credit option

Blueberry

Blueberry is a 10Year Old Mix-Breed in Compton, CA, Who Needs $2,000 for Tail Amputation.

Compton, CA

Blueberry came into our lives after he was abandoned on my uncle's doorstep. I had wanted a cat for so long, and despite allergies in my family, we knew we had to take him in. He was so tiny, we had to bottle feed him. We named him Blueberry because of his crystal-blue eyes he had when he was a kitten. He's a happy, affectionate cat who loves the outdoors and cuddling with us at home. Blueberry came home after an attack with a large section of skin missing from his tail. We prayed that wound care and antibiotics would be enough, but our veterinarian informed us that his tail is too damaged to save and must be amputated. This is a true emergency, and acting fast is the only way to protect him from a dangerous infection and give him the chance to heal and stay with us. Blueberry is such a special cat—he even acts like a dog sometimes after growing up with our two pups. He's super vocal and loves to “talk” to us. He loves being outside, and when we walk the dogs, he follows right along us without a leash, which always amazes the neighbors. He's been by my side through some of the hardest moments in my life, and his sweet presence means the world to me. Our finances have been tight, most of our resources going toward college, basic household needs, and a recent family emergency. We've been struggling for a while, and this unexpected surgery is more than we can afford. Getting blueberry healthy would mean the world to us!

Constanza

Constanza is a 2 year old Maine Coon in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $5,000 for Surgery for a CCL Tear in Her Knee.

Los Angeles, CA

Constanza showed up at my door about three weeks ago. I have three other outside community cats who she quickly befriended. She was very skinny, but otherwise healthy. Unfortunately, after several days, I noticed she had a limp that progressively got worse. My vet diagnosed her with a CCL tear in her rear knee, and she will require surgery. So far, the most affordable surgeon in my area is Dr. Martin at Simon Veterinary Surgical in Sherman Oaks, CA. The flat fee for surgery and all recovery follow ups is $5,000. Constanza is a very sweet girl. She gets along with other cats, and seems to have a calming effect on even the most unfriendly cats. She has a loud purr and she loves attention. She is also very striking, with many physical attributes of a Maine Coone, except the size. I am on a fixed income, and with the six other cats I care for, this is an expense I can't handle on my own. I would appreciate any financial help to reach my goal of $5000. The good news is that Constanza is already set to be adopted by a great family.

Rosie is a 10 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Tarzana , CA, who needs $2,000 for Lump Extractions & Biopsy Treatment Impacted Tooth.

Tarzana, CA • Sweet Angel Dog Rescue

Meet Rosie! 🐾 This sweet girl was rescued just in time from being euthanized at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Since then, she’s blossomed in the care of some amazing foster homes, showing just how loving and resilient she truly is. Rosie now has a forever home lined up—she just needs a little help getting her medical care up to date so she can start her next chapter happy and healthy. Rosie has a few lumps and bumps that need to be removed, and some may be cancerous—biopsies are needed to know for sure. She also has an impacted tooth that could be causing her pain. Aside from these concerns, Rosie is in great health, and we want to make sure she has the longest, happiest life possible. She’s currently receiving care at Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital. Rosie is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold. She’s gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loving—a true companion through and through. Rosie gets along wonderfully with all animals and has a calm, wise spirit that makes her easy to adore. She’s also a smart girl who quickly wins over everyone she meets… it’s impossible not to fall in love with her! 💕🐾 Sweet Angel Dog Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that cares for many dogs in need. We face constant veterinary bills on top of daily care, and our resources are very limited. Large medical expenses, like Rosie’s, put a serious strain on our ability to continue rescuing.

Shasta is a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Simi Valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for Crucial Ligament Surgery.

Simi Valley, CA

Hello Shasta is actually my roommates dog. But Shasta and I became unseperatable. We walk 2 miles in the morning and 1 mile at night every day. When done she always wants to catch balls. She is so full of life. We were playing ball last week and she came back holding her leg up. The doctors said she needs surgery. Please help. I make very little money but I must get her back to normal. Thanks Well according to my vet she needs surgery I called around and found what I believe to be the best place Simon Veterinary Surgery Center in Sherman Oaks CA they said it is a flat price of 4900 Shasta is the best. Before she got injured. She would go 24/7. She never stopped playing and when we went for walks she would know where every dog lived and would bark at there house to get them going. She is so smart. She would look up in all trees because squirrels are her favorite. I love her so much WellI just work instacart. My income is so up and down. The only reason I am trying this platform is to try and help with the cost. I don't have the money but I will try to get financing if I can't raise money. I will get my baby back to 100 % she is so sad

Jasper

Jasper is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Castaic, CA, who needs $2,000 for Torn ACL Repair(Surgery).

Castaic, CA

Jasper came as a foster puppy from a shelter. He was born in a kennel as the only puppy. Jasper became super attached to my daughter from the get go & that has been her baby ever since. Jasper has other adopted fursiblings. One of his other fursiblings earlier this year had a stroke/vestibular disease issue which took from the emergency fund. He has a torn ACL and is still such a happy boy. Jasper just went to the vet today for his diagnosis. Jasper has a torn ACL which would require surgery. We want to take him to Simon Veterinarian Surgical center. We received the quote today. This is the first time Jasper has ever been hurt. The quote we were given is 4900. Every bit helps. Jasper is a big chicken but protector of his baby(my daughter.) Jasper loves to kiss his other fursiblings, he will sit and whine if they won't let him kiss him. He loves to run and play with his toys while shaking them about and smacking his face. He's terrified of balloons. He loves every person who comes in the house and will sleep on them. Every night he sleeps in bed on my neck. It's a tight income, between the other fursiblings he has and my own kid. We just moved out of our house into a family members house due to losing the ability to pay for rent as the increases became more than my entire salary. It's been one thing after another financially.

Atlas

Atlas is a 1.5 year old Nebelung in Reseda, , who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head Ostectomy.

Reseda

I rescued Atlas from the East Valley shelter back in October 2023. He quickly made friends with our other rescues and made himself right at home becoming an essential part of the household. Yesterday (8/26) Atlas injured himself by landing wrong when either jumping or falling off a tall piece of furniture. He was rushed to the vet where he was given x-rays that found he has broken his hip. He was sent home with sedatives and pain medication, and I was given a list of vets to contact for help. I have been in contact with Simon Vet Surgical who says an FHO is necessary for his recovery Atlas really is a ham. He always wants to be watched and admired whether he’s eating, lounging, or rambunctiously running through the house with his friends. He’s the sweetest, most agreeable cat I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I work full time but unfortunately do not make near enough to cover such an emergency. Any money I did have was already spent on yesterday’s vet visit. I want to get Atlas the help he needs ASAP so he can get back to his normal self and not suffer any.

Elvis is a 8 month old Boxer in Bakersfield , CA, who needs $1,000 for Elbow Fracture Revision Surgery.

Bakersfield, CA

My pet is about eight months old. His name is Elvis and he is a Labrador boxer mix. He was a very active puppy until he had this terrible accident. He lives with my dad and I and our four other dogs. We still have both the mom and dad. About a month ago, Elvis fractured his elbow, we took him to the pet ER where they referred us to, the Beverly Oaks Animal hospital. They initially charged $5000 for surgery. We Got the surgery, however a month into the surgery he was no longer healing properly. His body started rejecting the surgery and now we’re right back at square one. He now needs revision surgery which is an additional 1,000 My pet is really loving really funny. We all think our pet is the best pet in the whole wide world but Elvis truly is my spoiled little boy. I love him so much. I’ve been working extra overtime just to figure out a way to pay the surgeries. He’s so playful happy and hungry he loves stealing my food and my socks. He still teething right now so he doesn’t play about his toys. I’ve been working Monday - Saturday from 9 AM-7PM to just to try to make ends meet and so I can make extra cash in order to pay for this revision surgery. My dad and I had to take out a care credit to pay for the initial surgery, but we cannot cover the costs of revisions.

Snoopy is a 3 year old Beagle in Santa Monica, CA, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Bone/Knee Surgery.

Santa Monica, CA

Snoopy, is 1 of 4,000 Lab Bred Beagles, that were neglected & abused at Envigo Lab Breeders. They had 9 Federal Court Actions against them, before a final Federal Court Order for their removal in Sept. of 2022. Just recently, in May of 2024, the company was fined $35 Million for the abuse, cruelty & neglect of these amazing, wonderful creatures. Snoopy tore his CCL (ACL in humans). Unfortunately in dogs, it requires cutting the the top of the lower bone, rotating it, and putting a metal plate in, to help repair it. Initial recovery takes 8 weeks. He is being taken care of by Simon Veterinary Surgical, in Sherman Oaks, CA. When I adopted Snoopy, he was so scared, shaking & terrified. With patience, care & love, he quickly bonded with me. He is still shy around others & outside. I am glad I named him Snoopy, as he is now like the Peanuts Snoopy - Happy, Fun, Funny, Joyful, Caring & Very Loving. At 1st, he would only sleep with me for about 20 min., now, for over a year, he HAS to sleep as tight against me as he can I am a 69 yr. old disabled Marine, with a Spinal Cord injury from 9/11/2001. In Dec. 2021, I had Quadruple By-pass, Open Heart Surgery, leaving difficulties. A week ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I am on a very tight budget, barely making it by, but I do. I need help.

Rocket

Rocket is a 8 month old Australian Cattle Dog in Lebec, CA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Lebec, CA

My husband has always wanted an Australian Shepherd, but due to the rules by our HOA we need to have smaller dogs. I saw rockets mom at a local rescue, she just had six puppies and she was a mini Australian Shepherd/heeler mix so we went to look at them, and Rocket chose my husband ❤️ Rocket was visiting our daughter on her gated property. Her mother-in-law did not see rocket, and because he is an indoor dog and only goes outside in our fenced in backyard, he did not know to watch for cars, and he got run over. He was taken to the vet but requires surgery because his left leg is broken and his right hip is broken. The cost of the surgery is well beyond our means, so we are doin Rocket is the sweetest boy, he has no idea he's larger than any of his fur siblings, and he's so gentle playing with them. He still loves to curl up in our laps, even though he has outgrown them months ago. We love that he is still, and always will be, our baby. Due to covid, I was let go of my job that I had for 13 years. We used every bit of our savings just to get by until I was able to get another job. Because of that, and are overstretched credit limits, it would mean the world to us for any help that is given.

Beulah Bell II

Beulah Bell II is a 2 year old Pug in North Hollywood, CA, who needs $2,000 for Hip Replacement.

North Hollywood, CA

Beulah Bell came in to my life 3 weeks as a rescue. She was found by a facebook friend and wasn't chipped and didn't have a collar. When I saw on her on the facebook something clicked. I responded to the post and said if they couldn't find the owner I will take her. My FB friend let me know that there was something wrong with her back hind leg. Beulah ended up coming to my house a week later. Once Beulah was her, I got her shots and got her chipped. I then took her to the vet to get her checked out. It turns out her hip is dislocated, probably from getting hit by something. The vet tried to pop it back but it didn't take; so he said she needed to get an FHO, (femoral head ostectomy) operation. The vet suggested Simon Veterinary Surgical team; who quoted me $2,500. Beulah is super special. She loves her walks, loves to cuddle and loves to sleep. She loves people and dogs alike and I can't wait to bring her home to visit my family in Canada. 2023 was a difficult time for me. My father passed away unexpectedly and I'm still working through the mess, which has been time-consuming and costly. $2,500 was very unexpected but Beulah is worth it and any help would be appreciated.

Shadow is a 9 month old Mix-Breed in Bakersfield, CA, who needs $2,000 for Peritoneo-Pericardial Diaphragmatic Hernia (PPDH).

BAKERSFIELD, CA

I came across this little stray kitty on the corner of a super busy intersection, I was intrigued from the sight of this little kitty being there and being smart enough to follow the sidewalk. Took her to the vet and was told she is a tiny cat for being 9 months, and she has a congenital Peritoneo pericardial diaphragmatic hernia. I’m a single mother and my son and I have fell in love with her. So this surgery is $4500, I have $1500 saved for it. The surgery would be a success, no further treatment would be needed. The doctor in Los Angeles viewed the X-rays it is a straight forward routine procedure. Had her scheduled but couldn’t get a loan or front from work or family. Please Help Us! She is an amazingly smart cat and her baby years have been tough. We will provide her the best home Shadow is a talker for sure, not much meowing but a lot of grunting and snores at rest. Her name sakes came from her love of chasing shadows. Anytime my son gets up from his desk in his room and comes to the front room, Shadow flies in his room to get there before Andrew in order to take over his comfy desk chair, it is the cutest thing., Shadow also loves to be on a leash and go for walks. I work 3 jobs DoorDash, Shipt, Spark deliveries, but rent takes is $1,000. I can contribute $1500. I’m a huge animal lover and would be so appreciative to have her well. This is what I pray for. She will make a lot of friends and families smile when walking her on her leash
