Ashi Harai
Ashi Harai is a 5 year old American Akita in Covington, GA, who needs $5,000 for Possible Chemotherapy and Testing.
Covington, GA
Ashi came into my life five years ago as a puppy and quickly became my constant companion. For three years it was just me and him hiking Stone Mountain, taking long walks, and doing everyday life together. He helped pull me out of depression and dark moments when I didn’t want to keep going.Today he’s part of our family with my wife and our other dog Maple, but he’s still my shadow and best friend In early January, Ashi suddenly became very sick. After X-rays and an ultrasound at our local vet, we were referred to UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital for advanced testing. Doctors initially suspected B-cell lymphoma. While one test created uncertainty, Ashi is now undergoing a bone marrow biopsy to confirm whether this is cancer or severe inflammation. Ashi has a rare soul. He’s playful, protective, and deeply loyal. He alerts us when someone approaches our home, comforts us when we’re struggling, and gently wakes me at night with kisses when he needs to go outside. He loves people, adventures, and family time. Ashi isn’t “just a dog” — he is family. He has given me unconditional love. Now I’m asking for help to give him the chance he deserves. Ashi’s emergency testing hospitalization and upcoming treatments have created unexpected medical bills we were not prepared for. We are doing everything we can, but the costs are overwhelming. Your support helps us continue diagnostics and treatment so Ashi has a real chance

Bonia
Bonia is a 12 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Auburn, , who needs $2,000 for Endoscopy, Biopsy & Diagnostic Scan for TCC.
Auburn
Bonia came into my life when I turned 18, and since that day, we’ve never been apart. She was a tiny, quiet puppy who quickly became my best friend and shadow. For 12 beautiful years, she has given me unconditional love, comfort, and joy. We now live together in Georgia with her son Richard and another dog, Charlie. Bonia is more than family — she is my everything. Bonia is a 12-year-old Yorkie recently diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) in her bladder. She was first treated at Auburn Animal Hospital (Auburn, GA) for cystitis, but symptoms returned. We were referred to the University of Georgia Veterinary Hospital, where a CT and biopsy revealed a 3 cm tumor. She urgently needs treatment, but costs are overwhelming. Bonia is the heart of our home. She greets us with her wagging tail and bright eyes, always searching grocery bags for her surprise treat. She’s gentle, affectionate, and loves everyone she meets. Her presence brings comfort, joy, and laughter. She sleeps near us, follows us everywhere, and makes every moment brighter. Bonia isn’t just a pet — she’s our little soul in fur. We have unpaid medical bills and upcoming treatments we simply can’t afford. Watching Bonia suffer without care feels like being forced to let her go with my own hands. But I can’t give up on her — she depends on me. Getting help would mean saving her life and giving us more

Tilly
Tilly is a 7 month old Mix-Breed in Shady Dale, GA, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization Level 3 & Antibiotics.
Shady Dale, GA • Jasper County Humane Society
* Jasper County Humane Society * Tilly came into Animal Control as she was seized from a cruelty case. Although she is just a puppy she has only known a chain her entire life. Even after being abused she is still very loving and affectionate. She was already sick when she came into AC. Jasper County Humane Society pulled her from AC to prevent euthanasia and she was placed into an outdoor kennel with a volunteer foster. Tilly was originally thought to have kennel cough. She was seen at a local veterinarian 2x and antibiotics changed. She still worsened so went to UGA vet hospital for additional workup. It was determined she had pneumonia and was admitted for breathing treatments and IV antibiotics. Tilly adores people! She gets along with other dogs but will gravitate toward people more than other dogs. She loves to snuggle and just wants a home to call her own! She has no aggression towards other dogs, cats are unknown. Jasper County Humane Society tries to help as many animals as possible but vetting and caring for animals is expensive. Her almost $4000 vet bill was unexpected and funds are needed to continue to help her and other cats and dogs.

Theo
Theo is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Altoona, PA, who needs $2,000 for Kidney Transplant.
Altoona, PA
Theo was adopted from a neighbor when he was just a kitten, he has been such an integral part of the house. We currently live with our 3 other cats, and our son, whom Theo considers his brothers. We chose his name to be Theo after Theodore Roosevelt because it’s fitting for him and his character. Theo was brought into the vet with signs of lethargy. At the time, our vet told us that he most likely had lymphoma, and that the lump she was feeling was a tumor. Upon further investigation, a different surgeon at Metzger Animal Hospital said these were his kidneys that she felt and they were failing, with only 20% functionality. We would need a transplant at the University of Georgia Hospital Theo is the best cat anyone could ask for. He is the one who will lay with you every night, comfort you when you’re sick, and come to you for cuddles. Our son has been his best friend since he was born, and Theo has been by his side his whole life. He greets everyone who enters the house with a stretch and a request for attention by climbing in your lap the second you sit down. Theo needs a kidney transplant in order to survive. The cost for this is around $20,000 at the University of Georgia School of Vet Med. This is Theos second chance. He’s only 6 years old, and has so much life ahead of him. His survival is the glue to our family.

Meeko
Meeko is a 2-year-old German Shepard in Athens, GA, who needs $2,000 for Supportive Care & Exploratory Surgery.
Athens
Meeko came into my life as I rescued him from an animal shelter. His foster had told me he was a really energetic playful dog who loves toys and people. They had told me about his past medical records which suggested he was a stray dog. I got him when he was one years old so I have very little knowledge of how he was before I got him. Meeko loves toys! He has toys all over the house he takes toys outside with him and if he does not greet you with a toy in his mouth then there is something wrong. He loves our family, spouse, and he also LOVES playing with other dogs. Meeko is a talk backer, he will whine for even a second of attention. He always has a toy in the vicinity of him which makes him unique. All the owners at the park are always "that's the black German shepherd with the toy!" Currently meeko is supposed to go under surgery at the UGA Vet Teaching Hospital. There is a blockage in his GI tract which were concerned for. He has not been eating and is very lethargic for the past 3 days so if we do not get him surgery ASAP he will be in critical condition. This is a very unexpected expense for a graduate student. Nor does the current pet insurance I have does not cover surgeries or x-rays. We are in need of 4-6k for his surgery bill (broad estimate) which I currently do not have at the moment.
