Bruno
Bruno Is a 7-Month-Old Mixed-Breed in East Stroudsburg, PA, Who Needs $5,000 for Left Tibial Fracture Repair (Bone Plate and Screws).
East Stroudsburg, PA
We only had Bruno in our lives for 3 1/2 months. A friend of a friends dog had a litter of 8 and Bruno was the last of the litter so we graciously took him in. Bruno got so excited to greet our pizza delivery driver that he jumped, fell, and and heard him yelp so loud and started to limp. We rushed him to Barton Heights hospital at the first immediate opening, praying it was something minor that we could manage, but the news was devastating: Bruno needed surgery. He fractured his hind tibia. The break was too severe for casting. Bruno is already a special part of our family at only 7months old. His loving, playful personality brings so much joy to our home. He has a unique way of making each family member feel loved, whether it’s cuddling with us, following us around, or greeting us with excitement. Bruno's unconditional love, loyalty, and sweet spirit make every day brighter. We’re facing a difficult financial situation, and the cost of our pet’s care is more than we can manage alone. Having them healthy again would mean everything to us—more happy days, more cuddles, and the comfort of knowing our beloved family member is safe and well.

Sugar
Sugar is a 2.5 year old Labrador Husky in Nuangola, PA, who needs $6,000 for Surgery for Torn CCL.
Nuangola, PA
Sugar came into our lives almost 3 years ago, and is a very active and loving dog! She has lots of puppy in her and loves to play with her family and older “sister” doggies. After multiple vet visits and X-rays, it was determined Sugar has a torn CCL, similar to a human’s ACL. This unfortunately is a common issue in her breed and requires surgery to fix, and is a must for bigger dog breeds like hers to be able to live normally and happily. Right now she limps daily and misses her long walks and swimming with her sister doggies. Sugar has all the energy and spunk of her Husky side, blended with her loving and loyal Labrador half! Her favorite time of the day is getting to swim and go for long exploration walks. She’s the sweetest girl which makes it that much harder to see her suffering everyday. On a limited income we’re struggling to meet the costs. Our vet has estimated it’ll be ~$6000, not including the gas and medication she will need when healing.

Leo
Leo is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Clifton Twp, PA, who needs $2,000 for Chemo Treatment & Further Testing.
clifton twp, PA
I have had Leo since he was 6 weeks old and he has been out family’s fur baby and brought us so much happiness when we were heartbroken. About 6 months ago we noticed his lympnodes were swollen so we brought him to vet which we spent over 2k in testing to confirm he in fact had lymphoma. Our worst fear as there is no cure for lymphoma. We decided to treat him even though we didn’t have the money. We are looking for any help to continue treatment as he is not currently in remission and we are at our ends and barley able to afford further treatment he is only 4 and we want to save him and give him a longer life with us. We aren’t ready to give up hope. I know he has a lot of life left if we could get him into remission Leo is a lover when he was feeling great he would love kisses and cuddling. He loves car rides. He loves to get up on couch and get under the blankets or even just lay in the bed. He is truly the best dog. Now that he’s sick it’s hard for him to do a lot of those things although he still enjoys his car rides. We have exhausted all savings and need help for treatments this would mean a lot to us as he’s my fur baby and part of my family. I’m not ready to let him go or give up.

Kobe
Kobe is a 10 year old Siberian Husky in Scranton, PA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Removal of Benign Masses.
Scranton, PA
Our Kobe is a one in a million kind of dog. He’s a beautiful soul inside and out. We’ve had him since the moment he was born in my bedroom closet. He’s 100% AKC Siberian Husky with a red/white long-haired coat and 10 years old. He is still just as much a puppy at heart as he ever was! His favorite things are his snacks, playing with his kitty friends, and cuddling with everyone 💗 Kobe has been in pristine health until about 1 year ago two small masses started to appear near his rectal area and on his tail. His vet is Citywide Animal Clinic and has been evaluated by Valley Central Veterinary Surgical Center for a surgery to remove the masses. Just last night we made the sad discovery he now has Fly strike in the area. Kobe is a beloved member of our family and has grown up with my eldest son, being only one month apart in age, they are the best of friends. He is registered as my husband’s emotional support animal as well and completely irreplaceable in our eyes. He is a big fuzzy teddy bear in every sense of the definition. He loves all other animals and people and does not have a mean strand of DNA in his body I’ve already spent about $1300 in vet expenses. We have had a cut in our income earlier this year, had a baby, and moved cross-country. Kobe has declined so rapidly and our limiting finances are stealing his chance at enjoying many more healthy years with us he deserves.

Ruby
Ruby is a 4 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd in Effort, PA, who needs $2,000 for Bilateral TPLO surgery.
Effort, PA
Within 6 years, I lost my mom, dad, husband, brother and my German Shepherd. After having so much loss and grief, I knew that I still had so much more love to give. Ruby entered my life as a puppy shortly after the loss of my German Shepherd. For the past four years, she has been my constant companion, giving me unconditional love and joy. I love her with all my heart. Three weeks ago, Ruby was running and when she came back to me she was limping, holding her rear, right leg up. We went to an emergency vet and decided to give her time to heal with rest and meds. Then the worst happened. She tried to jump up on my lap and fell back. I went to a different emergency vet, where we discovered she tore ligaments in both rear legs and needs Bilateral TPLO surgery. Ruby is a sweet, gentile, loving pup. She is shy and takes awhile to warm up to strangers. Until this injury happened, we went to Basic Obedience training and Intermediate Onedience training together. She is such a smart, good girl. I am a senior citizen, living alone. I rely on Social Security to get by. The surgery she needs to walk again, is estimated to cost about $10,000.00. Ruby means the world to me and your help would be greatly appreciated.

Wynx
Wynx is a 2 month old American Shorthair in Easton, PA, who needs $2,000 for Left Tibia Fracture with Plate and Screws.
Easton, PA
When we found this little 6 week old kitten in our yard she had one eye swollen shut due to an infection and was only using 3 of her 4 legs to get around. We brought her into our home, named her Wynx, gave her pate and kitten milk, and schedule a vet visit. She has a very sweet loving personality and seems happy despite her health issues. Shes eating well and fitting in nicely with our two dogs. Wynx was put on an antibiotic and eye drops. Her eye infection is clearing nicely. After x-rays, we were told she had a triple facture of the tibia and a fractured fibula in her left hind leg and the bones were displaced. Dr Salas at Valley Central said it had already started to heal improperly and would require extensive surgery in order for her to regain use of her leg and lead a full life. We have only had Wynx for a couple of weeks and are amazed by how happy and playful she is despite the major health hurdles shes faced so early in life. She loves to snuggle with us and our 2 small dogs. She has a very curious nature and we love to watch her play with her toys. She is smart - taught herself to use the litter box on day one even though she topples over. She makes us all smile. We had to put Wynx's $4464.36 surgery on a credit card. We also spent $592.06 on tests, medication, x-rays, shots, and service fees. We have limited income and these unexpected expenses have created a major financial burden. Any help with her care is greatly appreciated.

Kylah
Kylah is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Birdsboro, , who needs $2,000 for Luxating Patella Correction Surgery.
Birdsboro
Kylah joined our family 4 months after my dad passed away, my husband knew I needed extra love and he brought her home on my birthday. She has a human brother and sister and another doggy sister, Jazzy. Kylah has been diagnosed with luxating patella. She was diagnosed first with her right hind leg, stage3, which Valley Central Pet performed surgery on February 2024 and corrected. They did an xray on her left hind leg, which also has luxating patella, stage 2. We thought we would have a little more time to come up with the funds for the next surgery, but unfortunately haven’t been able to. Kylah is very special to me, I can’t imagine my life without her. She is always by my side. She is mostly quiet, she only barks when she is demanding something. She knows commands, but refuses to give paw if there isn’t a treat involved. She loves her human brother and sister and dog sister Jazzy. She enjoys tug of war with her rope and pup cupcakes as special treats. She loves giving us kisses. Currently I am the only one working, as my husband is currently out of a job. He starts a new job in 2 weeks. We do not want to delay this surgery, Kylah has a difficult time bearing weight on her leg. We hate seeing her in pain. We want her to be able to walk pain free.

Delilah
Delilah is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Tobyhanna , PA, who needs $2,000 for Initial Treatment and Diagnosis.
Tobyhanna, PA
Hi everyone Delilah came into our lives by surprise, she was found on the side of the road abandoned with her brother Petey. She is such a a good dog and has an amazing gentle soul. She is extremely lovable and is our 19 month olds son's best friend. Two days ago she was ran over by a woman on our road that was speeding down our quiet 25 mph road. We rushed her to the emergency room where an x ray was performed. Nothing was broken but they are worried about internal damage. We don't have the funds to get her further testing to see about saving her. She cannot hold water or food down and we are desperate to save her. She is out 19 month old son's best friend. She cuddles with him and gives him all the love and kisses he can take. She is just such a gentle sould and a loving little girl.she really is a vital part to not only our son but to everyone in our family especially her doggy brother Petey which she was found with abandoned on the side of a road. I was injured in August by the deck at our rented home collapsing. My wife took on the roll of the bread winner and we are struggling. It would mean the world to have our little mama treated and back to herself. Our 19 month old son sits by her and gives her kisses to help.

Valor
Valor is a 7-year-old German Shepherd in Lehighton , PA, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Hernias Surgery.
Lehighton, PA
In August of 2017 we decided we wanted to get a male GS. My fiancé found one on Craigslist. We decided to go meet this one year old boy. Omg he was a mess!! He smelled so bad because of his skin condition. Half his fur was missing and his skin was raw. There was no way I was letting this poor thing go back with these people. Flea infested, ear infections and underweight but he was coming with us. Valor is such an amazing dog. Doesn’t have an evil bone in his body. He loves to play ball with his sister. Occasionally will chase his two kitties around the house. Most of all he loves to be loved. I always say he’s Scooby in a German shepherd’s body. My silly scaredy cat. He sure loves his mommy and I love him back just as much. He’s the silliest. We always know when he’s ready to come back in the house. All you see at the door is this crazy dog jumping up and down. He reminds me of a jack in the box. We’ve always let our babies in bed with us. Unfortunately since he’s been sick he has to stay down. It breaks my heart and his to I’m sure. My poor Valor has been struggling going number two for months now. Our vet thought it could be from swollen prostates pressing on his colon. We got him neutered and his prostates went down. Problem is he’s still struggling so bad. Vet tried steroids and recommended specialist. Specialist said he needs surgery on his colon and perineal hernias. Unfortunately with the cost of living I don’t make near enough to cover his surgery. I’ve maxed out my Care Credit. I need my boy back to his old self. Watching him struggle and cry while he’s trying to go to the bathroom isn’t fair to him. I can’t give up on him.

Shara
Shara is a 5-year-old Egyptian Mau in Albrightsville, PA, who needs $2,000 for surgery to remove tissue infected by Nocardiosis.
Albrightsville, PA
We took Shara home when she was only 8 weeks old….she truly is a gift from God; She is so loving and smart and interactive and has such a personality! Shara likes to play with teaser toys, tear up balls of paper, and watch squirrels and chipmunks outside with her sisters. She loved to be walked in the yard by her mom & dad, before she got infected. We don’t have any kids, and these cats are our kids. Shara really loves her (cat) sisters and her mom & dad, and this family and home are all she’s ever known! We are lucky to have 2 healthy other cats, and had 2 others years ago that lived long, healthy lives, so this is really hard for us to go through…. At this point she's had check-ups, medications, lab tests, surgery, and a CAT scan. We want nothing more than for Shara to be normal, active, and sore free for good and for this evil bacteria to be gone. Shara has been diagnosed with Nocardiosis, a flesh eating bacteria. There are only 3 known antibiotics that kill it. We have given Shara all 3; after each series of dosages the infections would subside, only to return a few months later. We brought her to Valley Central Vet in Whitehall, PA who is prescribing an advanced surgery (her second) to remove canals that the bacteria dug under her skin. About 2 years ago we noticed a large lump in her right armpit that after about 2 weeks broke open and discharged….we brought her to a vet who just thought it was a cyst at first. Later she started getting other holes in her armpit and the bottom of her right paw that were discharging pretty bad. All Shara wanted to do was curl up on our bed and rest, it was pretty hard to see, young as she was.
