Sophie
Sophie is a 7 year old Dachshund in Evans, GA, who needs $2,000 for IVDD Decompression Surgery.
Evans, GA
Sophie is a pistol, let me tell you... she is her Daddy's little diva and loves her family so much. We got her 7 years ago when I found a picture of her online and showed it to my husband, he took one look at her and said "that's my girl her name is Sophie when are you going to get her. So a week later, I drove to Ohio to pick up this cute little girl, and she changed our lives forever. 2 days ago Sophie slowed down and we thought a pulled a muscle so had her away from everyone and then we woke up and she was dragging her hind legs. Took her to the vet and they said she has Ivdd the best course of action is surgery and that if we don't she may never walk again, it happened overnight and I am left speechless and heart broken over this. We will be taking her to Blue Pearl in SC Sophie is a bug part of our family, husband is retired military and has her as an emotional support animal for his Ptsd, she has 1 sister Essie and a bother Levi and our life just wouldn't be the same if she wasn't in it. She goes everywhere with my husband and sleeps snuggled up to him every night. Sophie needs Ivdd surgery and we were quoted 10-12k for the surgery she needs. My husband just started working again after 2 years off going to school fpr nursing so been living off his retirement and disability so savings is depleted, so we need help to get her the surgery.

Belle
Belle is a 9-year-old Cockapoo/Peekapoo in Lexington, SC, who needs $2,000 for IDDV Surgery.
Lexington, SC
We got Belle when she was 8 weeks old. She was the smallest cutest puppy. She has two brothers(dogs), and a kitty friend. She has a bassinet she sleeps in at night and is by my side other than that. She was great until she she was 4 when she first was diangnosed with ivdd, first surgery was successful but over the years she has gotten worse again and really needs another surgery. Belle loves everyone. She gets so excited over the littlest things, even a simple pet. People come to our home and she so badly wants to run and greeet them but she can’t. They come over to her and she squeals with delight. Belle loves her toys! She has a monkey that has literally turned into a rag but she still holds onto it. When I take her out to use the potty she will sit it down and pick it back up in her mouth to make sure it is always with her. She also loves her cranberry chews as utis r common with her ivdd She has seen Ben to blue pearl vet hospital for her surgery and check ups. She has not been back since getting worse as financially I can’t afford it right now. We bought a house and didn’t realize mortgage would put such a financial strain on us. Both my husband and I work full time and struggle to keep going, and there isn’t any option but to help Belle.

Raven
Raven is a 10-year-old Black Labrador in Simpsonville, SC, who needs $1,800 for tumor removal surgery.
Simpsonville, SC
Raven entered my life as a surprise gift for me and my brother by our late mother. He was rescued at 10 months and has been apart of our family for 10 years. While my mother was his heart, my brother is his best friend. I am the one who spoils him though. But the day we rescued Raven was the day that he formed a deep inseparable bond with our family that went to a spiritual level for us. It was my mother and Raven who shared this type of bond the strongest. She was diagnosed with heart failure and diabetes sometime after we had rescued him. But as her condition became worse, without any training, command, or schooling in being a service animal, he acted just like one as he saw fit. His main way of doing this was following her when she fell low on sugar or make sure she didn't fall I want to do everything I can to save him. He still plays like a little two-year-old puppy and I want him to do so for more years to come, but I need financial help. Over time I noticed a few bumps on parts of his body. These of which were confirmed to be a Mast Cell Tumor by his vet. While it has not spread to the rest of his body, and can be removed, when I was told of the price for treatment, I knew that I did not have the money. The money is to remove the tumors from him and give him a better survival rate. Throughout the years Raven and I have become attached to the hip. He has formed the same bond with me as he did with my mother. He smiles at me the same way he did to her. He snuggles next to me during storms because he's terrified of them. His favorite game is chasing a laser pointer for hours on end, and will tap my lap and point to it until I bring it out to play.

Willow
Willow is a 1-year-old Pitbull in Columbia, SC, who needs $550 for Parvo & Medication poisoning.
Columbia, SC
We got Willow right after my sister passed away. She is my Emotional Support Dog. I rescued her from being put down as an unwanted puppy, but she rescued me after the death of 2 family members in less than a year. We just lost our baby Lil Bit to Parvo 4 days ago, and I can't bear to lose Willow also. We have recently moved and the funds are not there as we are in an extended stay hotel. Willow greets me everyday after work at the door with a wagging tail and a bath full of kisses. She has an amazing personality and she loves to play. Sticks are her favorite. She has brought me such comfort as my Emotional Support Animal. She knows when I am down and will come sit with me with her head on my shoulder chest or lap and either lay quietly or just lick and play until I feel better We just recently moved to SC from KS and we are staying in an extended stay hotel. My paycheck barely pays for that. So trying to save for an apartment and only having 1 income, makes money extremely tight. Please help my Willow. We just had our 10 month old puppy pass from Parvo. Willow has now stopped eating and is vomiting. She also got into my medicine and ate some of it. We are forcing fluids in her with a syringe. We are trying to get her into South Carolina Veterinary Specialists. No one will see her and let me pay when I get paid in 6 days. If it is Parvo like the puppy 6 days could be too late. Willow likes to sit like she is human. If she is hungry she will come and get you and have you follow her to the food bowl. When we brought the new puppy home she would not let her near me. She always jumped up in my lap or laid right beside me, She always ALWAYS has to sleep right beside me every night so she basically pushed my husband to the couch,
Chewbacca
Chewbacca is a 13-year-old Maine Coon/Scottish Fold in Gilbert, SC, who needs $1,508 for colon reconstruction surgery.
Gilbert, SC
Chewy came into our lives during a time we were deeply morning the loss of our beloved pet. I was looking for a long hair male cat. We will went to our favorite pet store to buy some fish, and I spoke to the owner about our recent loss. The owner had a cat that had kittens and he had given the last one away. He was in the process of taking my contact information with the intention of offering the pick of the next litter, when my husband came running back into the store. He showed us a long hair 5 week old male kitten hiding behind the front door. The owner was shocked because he didn’t know that his cat had 6 not 5 kittens. Chewbacca healed our hearts in that moment and we knew he was a gift. The past 13 years Chewbacca has brought joy, and laughter into our lives. Before he was a year old he has been battling severe constipation requiring numerous procedures. Through it all we have always been amazed at his strength and resilience. It has always made his good days all the more precious. Earlier this year Chewy has suffered several setbacks requiring multiple hospitalizations for complications related to Megacolon. He has continued to lose muscle mass, and weight. He just underwent a soft tissue repair surgery, and we hoping to buy him some time before he will have to have surgery because of his Megacolon. We have changed his medications, and diet in hopes that his quality of life will increase.

Lady Lillian
Lady Lillian is 5-year-old mixed-breed dog in Columbia, SC, who needs $2,000 for surgery to repair a torn ligament in her knee, plus post-surgical rehabilitation.
Columbia, SC
We adopted lady in May of 2013 when she was a puppy at a shelter. She is so sweet and we are so blessed to have her in our family. She is my best friend. When I came home from the hospital each time, she was so loving and really helped me heal. She keeps an eye on me all the time and never leaves my side. She welcomed Jill when we adopted her and they are now BFF's. When I rescued kittens, she acted like a mom, letting them crawl over her. She always wants to be by my side checking on me, making sure i am okay.
