Cookie
Cookie is a 10 month old Yorkshire Terrier in sacramento, CA, who needs $25,000 for C-section.
sacramento, CA
Cookie came into our lives during a difficult time after our dog Canelo was stolen, and she helped bring happiness back into our home when we felt completely heartbroken. Since the, she has become our spoiled little princess- full of personality, cuddles, and love! She follows us everywhere, loves naps and treats, and truly became part of healing our family. Cookie is currently pregnant and will require an emergency C-section to safely deliver her puppies. After her recent veterinary evaluation, there is a big concern that the puppies' heads may be too large for her small pelvis to deliver naturally, which could become dangerous for both Cookie and the puppies if not treated in time. We are working closely with her veterinary team to keep her safe. Cookie is the heart to our home. She loves naps, cuddles, blankets, treats, and bring close to her family at all times. After losing our dog Canelo, Cookie became even more precious to us, and she's incredibly attached to our daughters- always following them from room to room like their tiny shadows (you can hear her little bells). Her funny and dramatic personality completes our family. Unfortunately, recent concerns about the puppies being too large for her tiny pelvis mean a C-section is now the safest option to protect both Cookie and her babies. The unexpected veterinary costs have become overwhelming, and any support/ shares truly means so much to us

Bodhi
Bodhi is a 3 year old American Shorthair in Sacramento, CA, who needs $10,000 for Pelvic Surgery.
Sacramento, CA
Bodie is the kind of cat who makes a house feel like a home. He’s endlessly curious, always the first to explore something new, and somehow manages to turn even the smallest moment into an adventure. My cat was suddenly injured and diagnosed with a fractured pelvis. The surgery estimate is $8,000–$10,000. I’m doing everything I can to get him the care he needs. If you’re able to donate or share, it would mean so much to us. Thank you for helping give him a chance to heal. He’s also the quiet leader of our little cat family—looking out for his sister and keeping a watchful eye on his siblings, always nearby, always present. The expense of surgery and care will cost $8-10k which I cannot afford and am not able to borrow. I feel responsible to do everything I can to get Bodhi the care he needs.

Nala
Nala is a 3 month old Cane Corso in Sacramento, CA, who needs $5,000 for Oxygen Supplement and Cage Setup.
Sacramento, CA
Nala is my 15-week-old Cane Corso. I brought her home at 8 weeks old. She's my everything and lives with me California: I named her Nala after Lion King because she's brave and she looks exactly like a princess. She was perfectly healthy until 2 days ago when she crashed. She's my whole world. Nala collapsed with pulmonary edema in her lungs. She's in an oxygen cage at the Emergency Vet and I've paid $4,000 cash but was denied carecredit/Scratchpay. She needs 2-3 more days of ICU oxygen to live. Without it, she'll be euthanized. This isn't chronic - it's life or death within 24 hours of no proper oxygen she will pass away if she doesn't get the proper care. Nala is only 15 weeks old but already learned to sit and lay down. She goes wherever | go and she always wanting to play.. She's goofy, smart, and thinks she's a lap dog at almost 3 months old. She loves her rope toy and peanut butter. I've only had her 7 weeks but I'd spend anything to save her. She deserves a chance to grow up. In 48 hours I've paid $4,000 and maxed out everything I have. I was denied CareCredit and Scratchpay. The vet needs around roughly 1500 a day for her to stay. Without it, I have to euthanize a 15-week-old puppy who's fighting. Having her healthy means I get my baby back!!

Morticia
Morticia is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Sacramento , CA, who needs $1,000 for Exam and UTI Treatment.
Sacramento, CA
Morticia came into my life about eight years ago. She was given to me for free from an online ad. She was only about six months old and I was just freshly nineteen. From the moment I held her I knew that we were meant for each other. She is and will always be my baby girl. She taught me how to love and care and adult. I named her morticia after the Addams family. I come here trying to get help to help get Tisha seen and treated from the VCA mueller medical pet center. She has some growths I am very concerned about and may have some urinary issues. She gets up multiple times a night, and I want my baby girl to be seen so I can help her as she ages. Tisha is my girl. She enjoys taking long naps and snuggling with me her mom. She likes rolling in warm grass and watching squirrels run up and down trees. She loves to watch me clean and cook and is very enamored with Scooby doo. She likes to watch and listen to a pup named Scooby doo when mom goes to work and sometimes for bed. I try to work as hard as possible. My job is about thirty minutes away and I work as much as I can. I recently moved to a new apartment because of bills, trying to find something more affordable. And while I was able to find something that was okay, money has become tighter.

Cola
Cola is a 7 year old American Shorthair in LOCKEFORD, CA, who needs $1,500 for Dental Removal Antibiotics and Pain Medication.
LOCKEFORD, CA
We have had Cola for 4 years now since she was 2 years old. WE THOUGHT HE WAS A GIRL until we took him to vet but we still refer to him as she due to her feminine behaviors. We believe he was abandoned because he has a broken tail so it's always up in the air. In Spanish tail is "Cola." She never wanted to be inside with our 2 cats so she became part of our family as an outside cat. Cola has some bad teeth she needs to have removed and now those teeth are causing an infection that is effecting her ability to eat and has the following symptoms: 1. Lethargic 2. Diarrea 3. Lack of appetite 4. Vomiting 5. Dehydrated We believe her kidneys are starting to shut down. The vet at VCA in Woodbridge California has confirmed this diagnosis. Cola is best friends with Coco both boys. Coco was also abandoned at our house shortly after Cola and they quickly became best friends. Cola is very protective of Coco and ALWAYS informs us when something is wrong with him Ex: meowed like crazy to tell us Coco was stuck in horse trailer. Coco-Cola are inseparable. Cola is such a loving cat who gives big hugs & tends to drool a lot as well:) We can't afford $1500 to have her teeth fixed because we just siang $1200 fixing her 3rd eye lid that got scratched. I'm a single mom and my 19 year old daughter (mom of Cola) is a struggling college student. We have already maxed out our care credit card.

Keanu
Keanu is a 5-year-old Tabby in Sacramento, CA, who needs $2,000 for 72-hour catherer, lab work, x-rays and antibiotic medicine.
Sacramento, CA
Keanu was originally my older sisters cat, she had got him from someone in front of walmart. His name came about because he looks like the cat from The movie "Keanu". When I seen Keanu I felt in my heart he'd come with me. I felt so connected with him. I've had Keanu for 5 years now. We live in a apartment with a backyard where he loves to adventure outside and enjoy hearing the birds chirp. Keanu loves to be around the family he has his favorite spot to sleep in the cat tower which is located in the living room. He also loves to be pet by everyone, Keanu is like a teddy bear. Time to time he enjoys sleeping in my bed. Keanu also like to watch TV it seems like on the couch. I'd say Keanu is very family oriented. I am a single mom of 3 and Keanu means so much to my family,my daughters were devastated when Keanu was sick. Fortunately he is doing much better it's just we are left with a bill bigger than we could handle. My daughter and I both had to open a credit card in order to pay. Keanu had his first hospital stay they had put a catheter in and sent him home the next day unfortunately he still couldn't urinate on his own which led to another 3 day stay. It was our only choice because his condition was life threatening. After that he was in diapers which he was not a fan of. Keanu was treated at VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center. Whenever Keanu wants to be fed he will let out the cutest meows while looking up at you with the cutest eyes. Keanu can also open unlocked doors so I have to make sure I lock the bathroom or else he'll come right in! He also loves to stretch his arms when getting picked up. He is the only cat I know that enjoys being held like a baby!

Ratatouille
Ratatouille is a 4-year-old DSH in Gridley, CA, who needs $2,000 for Leg Amputation.
Gridley, CA
Ratatouille and his twin sister Pastry came into our lives when they were 2 days old. A litter of 3 (Poppy passed away at about a week old) that needed our help. We bottled feed them and quickly fell in love with both their unique personalities. Ratatouille has always been the more sensitive one and follows his sister everywhere. He loves noises bumps and requires it everytime you pass him. Touille (we call him that) loves to snuggle up to his sister or our Chihuahua, just about anywhere. As long as he is next to someone he is a happy boy. We created the catopia, so our cats could have a safe place to go outside during the day. He loves, absolutely loves chasing bugs and pollen flying through the air. The catopia lets them explore, smell different things, eat grass, sun bath.... COVID has done a number on many families and it has to ours. We built the catopia to keep them safe and he found a way out and got hurt. We want our Ratatouille to heal and come home, but we can't do it on our own unfortunately. He was attacked by something...racoon seems the be the likely hood. He was rushed to Muller in Sacramento and they worked so very hard to keep him alive, and they did. However, we have learned he had a partially collapsed lung, severe muscle damage to his inner right hind leg, hip joint out of its socket and pneumothorax. He is slowly healing but will need that leg amputated. Ratatouille loves life in general, and water bottle caps. He gets so worked up when you grab a water bottle, he wants to drink some of it and steal the cap. He plays with our Chihuahua Maggie all the time, mimicking what she does. She rolls on her back, he does the same. The have a special bond. Touille is also a cat like likes to know what your doing and tries to be involved in it.

Pepper
Pepper is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair in Orangevale, CA, who needs $2,000 for Oral Surgery/Teeth Extraction for advanced Stomatitis.
Orangevale, CA
Pepper was an abandoned stray who approached me in the street one day. He was so emaciated that it pained me to look, he was drooling green from an obvious bad infection in his mouth. I brought him immediately to the ER where he was given IV fluids, a large dose of antibiotics, steroids, and pain meds. He was diagnosed with Stomatitis, a very painful disease that requires oral surgery. Pepper is still very new in my home, I found him recently in a not so good neighborhood, hungry and dehydrated. He has adapted quite well, he never leaves my side when I am home and is very determined to become friends with my other 2 cats! He is very friendly with every human who meets him, in spite of being severely neglected by his previous owners. I require assistance because the cost of the surgery is more than the cost of my entire monthly income. I applied for Care Credit and was denied. Pepper was diagnosed with stomatitis. I brought him in off of the streets and it is already pretty advanced, as he was roaming the streets un-treated for so long. He will require all of his teeth to be extracted. He was seen at VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center and Pet Inn as an emergency patient. Pepper is a very affectionate kitty, he actually hugs me when I pick him up! My other 2 cats are not used to his presence quite yet, but Pepper is very friendly and never growls or hisses at them...he only wants to play! He loves to meow (high pitched kitten meow) and chirp! He tries to play, as well, in spite of the pain he is in.

Bodhi
Bodhi is a 1-year-old Tortoise shell in Sacramento, CA, who needs $2,000 for Enterotomy.
Sacramento, CA
Bodhi was picked out at the local shelter by my 2 year old daughter, Layla. Bodhi and Layla have become best friends and inseparable since. Bodhi was instantly adjusted to our family and other cat, lotus. They are always together and have the best time. Bodhi loves to playing fetch and riding around in Laylas stroller. Bodhi loves playing fetch, riding in Laylas stroller, and cuddling with everyone she meets. She loves to sleep in our laps and also play with Layla in her room to entertain her since Layla has no siblings. Bodhi has is a friend to all. She deserves this surgery so much. I have never loved an animal more than I love Bodhi I am divorced single mom to Layla, work full time as a registered nurse and am in graduate school obtaining my masters degree. It is very expensive and with this $3400 procedure I am unable to make ends meet. Bodhi began vomiting 2 days ago and was not eating or drinking. Yesterday Bodhi was dizzy and collapsed, going limp. I rushed her to the vet emergency hospital and she quickly received iv fluids to hydrate her. Xrays were done and confirmed a foreign body in her small intestines, requiring emergent surgery and days of recovery. Bodhi and Layla are the best of friends and play all day and night. Bodhi is so patient and kind to our family. Never gets annoyed by our toddler or other cat. Always so happy and playful. Our other cat lotus, is grumpy and our mantra in our house is “in a world of lotus’ be a bodhi” Always full of life and enjoying every moment.
