He's a blessing I'm currently seeking employment due to my health and recovery from surgery I wasn't able to work and I am on a fixed income and I would feel very well blessed if I were to have any financial help for my dog to get treatment I can't imagine living my life without him

Tucker
Tucker is a 10 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Davis, CA, who needs $9,000 for CT Scans and Rounds of Radiation.
Davis, CA
Part of my vet tech program was adopting shelter animals to assist in our education for the year. Tucker was one of them. He and his siblings were confiscated from a dog fighting ring where they were assumed to be bait dogs. When I graduated I brought him home to live with me, my husband and our 2 kids. We moved onto my parents property where he has space to run and play with all the animals! Tucker was diagnosed with a heart based mass at the hospital where I work as a registered veterinary nurse, likely a chemodectoma and the treatment is multiple rounds of radiation. Unfortunately we don’t offer the specialized service that he needs so we have to take him to a specialty hospital. He is otherwise a healthy and happy dog. While the road ahead will be challenging there is hope. Tucker has been in our family for almost 10 years. He’s helped us socialize countless foster kittens, dogs and even a piglet. He is such a happy and sweet boy. Always wagging his tail and smiling. He is my shadow and I can always count on him to make me smile if I’m stressed or had a hard day at work. He overcame many obstacles in his youth and deserves so much more. We live on a fixed income. Raising two teenagers. Raising animals as best we can with quality food and proper wellness care. I have insurance for Tucker but it will only cover a portion of his needs.

Junie
Junie is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Fair Oaks, CA, who needs $1,300 for Abdominal Ultrasound & Full Diagnostic Evaluation.
Fair Oaks, CA
Junie came into my life less than a year ago as a rescue, and she has been my constant companion ever since. She came into my life during a very difficult time and has brought me comfort, stability, and a sense of purpose. She is incredibly special to me and my whole world. She brings a smile to everyone's face she meets, and we are not done fighting for her. Junie was recently seen at VCA Sacramento Emergency Veterinary Referral Center, where a veterinarian identified a large abdominal mass. She urgently needs a full diagnostic ultrasound to determine what it is and whether treatment is possible. Right now, we do not have a confirmed diagnosis, and time is critical. Junie is so incredibly sweet, intuitive, protective, and loving. She has the most calming presence and adores everyone, especially children. She loves being close, resting her head on me, exploring, and playing. She is integral to our family and my best friend. I am currently in a very difficult financial situation and do not have the funds upfront for the urgent diagnostics she needs. I am actively seeking assistance and fundraising to move quickly while she is still stable enough to be evaluated and helped.

Calypso
Calypso is a 7 year old Egyptian Mau in French Camp, CA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
French Camp, CA
I accepted her from a cat breeder who was closing down her breeding program and went and picked her up not far from where I live. She lives with me in my house with my other two cats. She didn't cost me anything but I always wanted a Egyptian Mau and I said yes. I was told because she was an older breeding queen and she was fixed at 7 years of age but she developed mammary carcinoma. She had developed this before I picked her up and it was because she likely developed it from not being fixed until much a later age. When cats are are not fixed early they have a much higher risk of developing this type of breast cancer basically. She is so sweet, she is young and her cancer is still in the early stages according to the biopsy on the lump that was removed. She is skittish at times, and can give some attitude but she sure does love food and is very food motivated. I am currently a student only and I am doing an internship to be a teacher where I can't work currently and I need to complete it so it makes it hard to financially be able to have her surgery and chemotherapy where she can have a higher chance of living longer.

Cholula
Cholula is a 7 year old Chihuahua in Lincoln, CA, who needs $2,000 for Neurology Consult, MRI & Potential Hemilaminectomy.
Lincoln, CA
I first saw Cholula on an Instagram post from the Sacramento SPCA! I thought "OMG, what a little cutie, she'll be adopted so quickly!" Then, 2 weeks later, I saw her on my feed again and promptly phoned a friend to help me "break a dog outta jail!" She immediately got along with my Robbie dog and that was that, out of the shelter she walked right beside her new big brother! For the past 5 months, Lu has not fully been herself, leading to several vet visits and no real resolution. This weekend I saw she was in pain, so I took her to Sterling Pointe Urgent Vet. Upon exam, she was very painful when her spine and neck were palpated. A neurologist was strongly recommended and she was given a shot of methadone and sent home on gabapentin, meloxicam, and Methacarbomal. Cholula is the sweetest girl and is ALWAYS happy! She loves her people fiercely and isn't afraid to show it! She really does live up to her name, and is my spicy little Mexican with her sad and rule the world attitude! She is my reason for living! Porch time is her most favorite thing in the world; she bathes in the sun, potties in the yard, and barks at all those who dare to walk by! This is an unexpected MAJOR expense and I do not have the funds to support this type of specialized veterinary care. I am looking into all options of fundraising so that I do not need to do the unthinkable.

Xena
Xena is a 8 year old Rottweiler in Sacramento, CA, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy.
Sacramento, CA
Xena, the princess warrior. In 2017 I found my soul dog sitting in a kennel after being surrendered twice because her families were moving. I am thankful they surrendered her because I now have the opportunity to become Xena's mom. She has been the mama to many foster animals that come into our home. Her gentle and goofy spirit helps kittens and shy dogs come out of their shell. Xena has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Without treatment she only has 6 weeks to stay on this earth. We started chemotherapy so she can spend more time with the people she loves. Her chemotherapy is going to be about $15,000. She needs your help to fight this battle. I made a promise to her that I will continue fighting for her as long as she does the same. Xena is the best Rottweiler advocate. She has shown the world that Rotties are gentle and loving. She adores children to the point where I have to ask families if Xena can say hi to their kids. She has also helped many people get over their fear of large dogs/Rotties. She is my adventure buddy. Our favorite place is the beach as she loves to chase the waves and greet everyone. 2 weeks ago, my cat's health declined. We took multiple trips the the vet and ultimately he had to he euthanized. This was an unexpected expense and very heartbreaking. Then I received news Xena has lymphoma. Chemotherapy is $15,000 and I currently don't have the funds.

Steven
Steven is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Sacramento , , who needs $2,000 for CT Scan and Surgery.
Sacramento
One day my dad came home from work & told us some puppies had been born. We then decided to get my baby Steven. We chose him since he looked the most cutest & more German shepherd looking one out the pack haha. We named him Steven because he loved to dress up & look handsome so we figured Steven was more fancy of a name for his confidence. I raised him to be an inside cuddly buddy his whole life. I noticed Steven one day after a walk he had a lump on his right side. & seem very bloated. We took him to the vet & got X-rays done after hours of waiting. we unfortunately got the worst news anyone could get. He has a massive mass in his abdominal area. Either a cyst or tumor possibly cancer. This mass has grown dramatically in 2 weeks. It’s cutting blood flow. Needs surgery immediately. Steven is the family’s youngest baby apart from having 4 legs & being fully furry. He loves our family. He walks to our bed in the morning & gently stares wagging his tail. He loves playing with toys & tug-of-war with us, & admiring me while cooking. He loves blankets. My baby snuggles you when sad or crying. Loves car rides too. We can’t imagine life without him. He’s the happiness we look for I suffered a bad accident & caused me to lose my job due to dislocating my left elbow. I’ve been using my savings to help my baby to survive he’s only 5. Being able to save my Steven would make us eternally grateful for life. we appreciate deeply to those who can help us.

Conan
Conan is a 5 year old Siberian Husky in Elk Grove, CA, who needs $2,000 for MRI Study.
Elk Grove, CA
Meet Conan, our sweet 5-year-old chonky husky who recently made a big move from the Philippines to the US last August 1. Conan has always been full of energy and love, but the evening of October 13, Sunday, started experiencing troubling mobility issues. A slight limp has now turned into a neck and front legs pain so severe that he intermittently screams in agony. We've taken Conan to multiple vets/ER, and he’s been given pain meds but his condition kept degenerating. The vets believe his mobility problems could be linked to issues with his neck muscles or spine, but they won’t know for sure until he undergoes an MRI. Vets stated: if we are unable to do MRI+surgery, they recommend euthanasia due to the extremeness and severity of pain. VCA Animal Hospital. Conan and his brother have been my wife's companions and protectors ever since we adopted them. Conan himself is almost always by our side whenever we are in the house. Even when he is up and about, he always checks in on us before going back to what he is doing. A quiet and loving soul, he and his brother are always making new friends, never showing aggression to doggos and humans alike. I am currently unemployed and have been job hunting for the past 2months. My wife, who just got here in the US is also doing the same. The suddenness of Conan's plight and the surprisingly high cost of pet care made us go through our savings like hot knife through butter.

Buddy Too
Buddy Too is a 2 year old Russell Terrier in Elk Grove, CA, who needs $2,000 for Consultation, MRI, EEG.
Elk Grove, CA
Buddy Too is our 2 year old Russell Terrier we adopted over 18 months ago. Our first Buddy passed away at 15 years old. We were so lost without him. Russell Terriers are full of life as you know if anyone has ever had one they touch your heart and soul. Buddy Too started having seizures January 5. 2024. He has been hospitalized 3 times for his cluster seizures at Vista Animal Vet Hospital. We are devastated that the seizures are not controlled yet. This has been very heartbreaking for us to watch. Buddy Too is the sweetest, fun natured “ball of zoomies” love bug of our life that has stolen our hearts forever. He loves going to the park for walks, play ball and play tug a war with his sister Marley Doo. I am retired and on a fixed income. We have pet insurance with a $5,000 yearly max that already has been exhausted. Buddy will have a Neurology Consultation (Up to $500) next month and will need more testing (MRI up to $3,000, EEG up to $800). We are praying for answers.
