Beans
Beans is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Anaheim, CA, who needs $8,000 for Removal of Mass and Amputation and Possible Chemo.
Anaheim, CA
Beans came into our lives as a kitten, along with his brother Buttons from the same litter, after we rescued them on a very hot day in May 2020. They have been inseparable ever since. Beans is the sweetest, most affectionate cat who loves cuddles and being close to his family. Buttons and his blind dog sister love him dearly and would miss him deeply. Beans was diagnosed with a vaccine-associated sarcoma, a cancerous tumor that developed at a previous injection site and is receiving care through his veterinary oncology team at Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Tustin. His treatment requires amputation of the affected area, with possible chemotherapy afterward. Beans is family, and we are fighting to give him more time with the ones who love hi Beans is truly one of a kind. He loves greeting us every morning, rubbing against us when we come out of the shower, and having conversations with his many vocal meows. He is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate. Beans has a gentle soul and brings so much happiness, comfort, and love into our home every single day. We are living paycheck to paycheck and have managed to secure a portion of Beans’ surgery costs, but we still need help covering the remaining amount. Having Beans healthy again would mean everything to our family. He is deeply loved, and we want to give him every chance to

Daisy
Daisy is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Riverside, CA, who needs $10,000 for PDA Closure.
Riverside, CA
I first saw Daisy on a website looking for a multi-poo. I saw her face and instantly fell in love. I wandered why she was so cheap. She was listed for $200. When I talked with the breeder she said Daisy had a heart murmur. I said oh ok my other dog has a heart murmur and didn’t think much about it and picked her up she became part of our family. Daisy needed alot right off the back. I found out that she had mange and needed to be treated. I took care of her mange and now she is free of mange. I then took her to the Dr. for vaccines and spayed. They told me before they can spay her she needs to be seen by a cardiologist so they can clear her for anesthesia to be spayed. I took her to a cardiologist and he tells me she has an enlarged heart Daisy is the sweetest little girl and so curious. She is my little companion and so protective. She deserves a chance at life. They gave her 3 months to live. She needs open heart surgery to close her PDA valve. This will give her an extended life of 8-9 years. If she goes into congestive heart failure, that’s it. We are retired and are on a fix income. I have insurance but maybe they will pay $4000. The surgery is $7000- 10,000. I might be able to pay $2000 on my own but that’s it. She’s on medication now which will extend life maybe a year.

Ariel
Ariel is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Lake Forest, CA, who needs $2,500 for Bilateral Elbow Arthroscopy with Medial Coronoid.
Lake Forest, CA
Hi everyone, I want to introduce you to Ariel, our beloved rescue dog. We rescued her when she was just two months old, and from the very beginning she has been incredibly gentle, kind, and loving. Ariel has a special way of sensing emotions and bringing comfort, and she has become an irreplaceable part of our family. Sadly, Ariel has faced significant medical challenges at a very young age. She has already undergone two major surgeries on her back legs — surgery on her right ankle and a left TPLO with scope. Despite the pain and long recoveries, she has remained trusting, affectionate, and full of spirit. On December 19, 2025, Ariel underwent another major procedure due to bilateral elbow dysplasia. Diagnosis: Elbow Dysplasia – Bilateral Surgical Procedure: Bilateral Elbow Arthroscopy with Medial Coronoid Process Removal This surgery was necessary to relieve pain and prevent further joint damage. The procedure has already been completed, and Ariel is now in recovery. We are asking for help to cover the veterinary costs, which were placed on a credit card. The invoice and post-operative medical report are attached for full transparency. This financial burden comes on top of ongoing challenges: I am still paying $393 per month for Ariel’s previous surgery until May 2026. My husband lost his job in October 2025 and has not yet been able to find new work, leaving our household supported only by my income of $4,800 per month. We have reached the point where we had to place our mortgage into forbearance just to keep going. We are doing everything we can, but this has been an overwhelming and frightening time for our family. Ariel is not “just a dog.” She is family. She has already endured more than most animals ever should, and she deserves the chance to heal and live without constant pain. Any contribution — no matter the amount — will help reduce the credit card balance from her surgery and allow us to focus fully on her recovery rather than financial survival. Thank you for taking the time to read Ariel’s story and for any support you are able to give. With sincere gratitude, Natalia

Ariel
Ariel is a 6 Year Old Mix-Breed in Lake Forest, CA, Who Needs $2,000 for CT and Bilateral Elbow Arthroscopy.
Lake Forest, CA
We rescued Ariel when she was 2 month at the Pet Adoption event at Petsmart store. The name was already given her by rescue company, so we decided not to change it. Ariel has a chronic orthopedic condition affecting her legs. She has already undergone two major surgeries—her right ankle and a left TPLO with scope—to address serious joint and ligament issues. Despite these procedures, she is now experiencing pain and limping on her front legs and requires another surgery: bilateral elbow arthroscopy +/- ulnar osteotomy, along with a CT scan to properly assess Ariel is a bit of a couch potato—she doesn’t like to walk much, but she is absolutely addicted to food and sleep! 😄 She is very kind and caring. Her best friend is a blue-nose pitbull named Duby, who loves her dearly. Whenever they meet, he always licks her entire face! 🐾❤️ 1. I’m still paying $393/month for her last surgery until May 2026. 2. My husband recently lost his job on Oct 2025, and we’re getting by on my salary of $4,800/month. 3.Our mortgage is under forbearance, as we’re struggling to make ends meet.

Ash
Ash is a 3 year old Labrador Retriever in Sunset Beach, CA, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Intestinal Resection.
Sunset Beach, CA
Ash came into my life shortly after a friends Labrador became pregnant and the family didn't know what to do with the litter. Most of the pups were adopted out to friends of the family and there were only two pups remaining that had not been spoken for, Ash being one of them. When she was offered to me I had no intention of accepting but when I saw her I just couldn't resist. Ash has been in critical condition due to an intestinal blockage that was caused by a free floating mass in her abdominal cavity that adhered itself to the outside of her lower intestine. She has undergone two major surgeries, the first was a resection of the intestine and removal of the mass and blockage. The second surgery being another resection of the same intestine due to infection and sepsis Ash is the best thing that has happened to me in the past three years and have brought joy to everybody she has ever met. Her outgoing demeanor and lust for adventure has been the fuel for a life worth living. I cannot begin to count the number of times I have gotten in my car to go out somewhere then paused and stuffed her in my passenger seat. She's made every task, chore, errand enjoyable. About 6 months ago I was laid off from a job I moved states to work at and due to my short time at the company I was not eligible to receive unemployment. this has caused strain in my life because I don't have any resources to live off of except my dwindling savings.

Bentley
Bentley is a 10-year-old Pomeranian in Riverside, CA, who needs $2,000 for perineal hernia surgery and neuter.
Riverside, CA
Bentley was a gift from my daughter when she moved out I live a alone and I’m elderly so she wanted me to have a companion. He has been my best friend and I love him dearly this is why it makes me so sad that I’m unable to pay for his surgery. It’s just me and him he is my best friend he knows when I need him, he’s there to comfort me when I’m sad. When I cry he licks my face to make me feelbettr Bentley sleeps with me always has. he cuddles up next to me and waits until I wake up for himself to get up I take him on a walk every single day around the block he gets his treats when he’s a good boy he loves for me to chase him around when he has a treat I put him on the bed and pretend I will take it from him and he loves that. My granddaughter loves him as well. I am retired I live off Social Security I only make $1200 a month and I have a mortgage. I have to pay all the bills on my own without any help. I use to have a part time job but with the COVID-19 I lost it. It breaks my heart to think he is in pain and I can’t help him. Bentley has been sick for a couple of months I kept taking him to different vets and they kept telling me it was nothing finally a couple weeks ago I took him for his vaccinations at a low cost clinic and the nurse there told me that he had a hernia and needed a specialist to operate it. We took him to the specialist and that’s where we found out it would cost over $5000 to do it. I had him for 10 years. Before him i didn’t like having pets but I am so in love with him I couldn’t be without him. My favorite thing about him is when I get home he runs to the door and hops like crazy because he’s so happy to see me immediately wants me to hold him. I love when I am sitting on the couch watching tv, he comes and lays on my shoulder to keep me company. I love him so much.

I found this cat and had him for about 4 months now. I decided to take him in and rescue him since at the time too I was looking for a companion to help with my depression and anxiety. He is my best friend in a way and will even watch TV with me all day when it’s hard for me to get out of bed or will persistently cry because he loves playing with strings and chasing your hand which makes me get up and get moving so he really help me the most day by day with emotional support

Lucy Goosie
Lucy Goosie is a 12-year-old Labrador Retriever in Long Beach, CA, who needs $1,200 for laryngeal paralysis and possible tie-back surgery.
Long Beach, CA
Lucy is my guardian angel and I got her after trying to have a child for almost ten years. She became my baby. She is FIERCE and I should have trained her for hunting! She loves to swim more than anything on earth. Sadly, because of her condition, she can no longer do that and it breaks my heart. Except for her LP, at 12 years old, she is in great health!
