Henny

Henny is a 9 month old Poodle in Leonardtown , MD, who needs $2,000 for Oxygen Care.

Leonardtown, MD

I brought Henny as a Christmas gift for my son. He keep saying puppy for weeks straight and I wanted a dog anyways. We drove to PA to get him which is 4 hours away. We fell in love with him then My boyfriend was bathing him but it was no stop in the drain he just had the faucet running. He had to go get my baby from downstairs. Within the time he left and came back Henny must’ve submerged his face. He came back and my dog was gasping for air. That was yesterday since then he’s been dog paddling, not being responsive, not walking. It is like he is in a paralyzed or unconscious state. He do My dog is a miniature poodle with a very affectionate and clingy personality. He’s extremely loving, always by my side, and emotionally attached to me and my family. He brings comfort and joy to our home every single day. He does not have any known special needs, but he requires regular attention and care to feel safe and loved. I’m currently in between jobs and struggling financially. My most recent job ended after a 4-year contract, and I’m scheduled to start a new position on July 21. Until then, I have no income and no credit options, which makes it impossible for me to afford emergency veterina

Lucy

Lucy is a 7 year old Boxer in Mechanicsville, , who needs $2,000 for Hemoabdomen Bleeding.

Mechanicsville

Lucy was adopted back in January 2020. We walked into the shelter just to see the available dogs for adoption the second we saw her we just knew we asked to see her and the moment she was taken out of her dog run she came running to us as if we had already known each other she was very skinny and sick in a matter of weeks she had put on weight and her spunky personality started showing On 11/25 at midnight she started throwing up which to all of us at home we think it was an upset stomach she continued to vomit and was getting weak to the point we had no option but to take her to the ER where X-Rays were ran and a mass that is bleeding out appeared can’t tell it is cancerous or not. The estimate we received was from $6,000 - $9,000 that we don’t have or the option to euthanize We always say if Lucy was human she would be trouble and wouldn’t take anything from anyone she has quite the personality. In the house she’s the queen, the boss the second she sees people she wants to run and play and if their kids she goes even crazier and is so gentle with them and lets them do whatever they want. Lucy loves wearing dresses and getting her nails painted. I’m on a fixed income per say I’m on salary pay and make just enough to get through life and provide at home this diagnostic was so unexpected Lucy was doing just fine with no symptoms of anything till she started throwing up, she is bonded with Bruno our 5 year old lab

Ana

Ana is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Waldorf , MD, who needs $2,000 for Puncture Wounds Due to Being Attacked by Another Dog.

Waldorf, MD

My baby came into our lives as a Christmas gift! My husband had just returned from Afghanistan and as a gift for his service we were blessed with two tea cup yorkie a Ana and Elsa because our girls loved the movie frozen! We currently live in Waldorf Md with her now. And she is literally our family! Today as my girls were walking her Ana seen our neighbor that she loves and rn up to him(yes she was on a leash) while he was with her his two pit bulls came from the back of his house to the front of his yard and attacked her. She has sever puncture wounds on her hind leg near her pelvis and her eye is severely damaged not sure if we can save it yet! But she is stable and on fluids Ana is family to us she provided our family with love and light while my husband suffered from PTSD. She is fun and friendly and she partakes in our family dance battles lol. My children grew up with her she is more than just a dog for us. She is apart of us. We need her just as much as she needs us! My husband is a retired veteran who is separated from his family because of his ptsd so I’m really a single mom of 5 working at moms organic right now. I don’t have enough savings but it would mean the world to our family if you helped us. We can’t afford this heartbreak!

Duke

Duke is a 1-year-old Pitbull in Indian Head, MD, who needs $2,000 for Malnourishment/ Kidney Failure.

Indian Head, MD

Meet Deuce, (previous owner name, we will be renaming him Duke) He is a very loving and sweet boy. He is only one years old and has so much fight in him. We have rescued from a very bad environment. He is severely malnourished, in kidney failure, possibly has a bowel obstruction, so weak he cannot walk. We have only gotten to know him for 3 days and cannot wait to see his full personality. We have only known Duke for a very short time. When we rescued him we rushed him straight to the animal hospital where he has been for 3 days. We know he is very sweet and gentle. We are hoping to see more personality from him as he gets better. Duke is so so strong and is a fighter! He has been rescued by us from a bad environment and is actively fighting for his life. He wants to get better and we want to see him get better so we can get to know him better and see his personality shine through. Duke has been severely starved and is extremely dehydrated. He is severally malnourished, and he is in kidney failure as well as possibly a bowel obstruction. He was eating some for the vets but not eating enough. He has been put on a feeding tube and catheter. He is so weak he cannot walk right now. He is on antibiotics and monitored very closely at Waldorf Emergency Care. My fiancé and I do not make a lot of money. We have both taken out credit cards to get Duke care. The bill is up to $5,000.00 and we have reached the limit and maxed out all credit cards. He could be needing up to another $5,000-$10,000 of care. We really need the funds
