Hello I got Luna to help the children and I to have some extra love! He is an amazing friend to the kids and I we love her so much! We have had her about six year this far I was told today that Luna has Pyometra she has the open version of this but is in need of surgery in the next couple of days and I don’t have the means to do this at this point She is special to use be he helps my children to have a pet to love when someone is is upset she is there to love and lick and make them feel better she is an amazing part of our family we love her so much I’m a single mother of 3 kids living on disability due to my ms, I try every day to do my very best for my kids and fur baby’s but I feel like I’m not winning this part! She is so special to us and the thought of her needed this and being in pain is so hard

Madison

Rehomed Madison when she was 4.5 mo old from a family that could not keep her. She has been my sidekick ever since. She loves getting treats at the bank window and shredding the mail as it comes through the slot. She is the absolute sweetest animal and brings me so much comfort. My house has been empty without her, and I want her to come home again! Madison loves anyone that isn’t delivering mail or packages to her house. She adores her same size, same age, cousin, ( my sister’s dog), and it’s so entertaining watching them interact with each other. She also adores her human extended family very much, and has many praying for her right now. She was jogging up and down her street a few weeks ago, and I so want that for her again. Madison will talk to me when she wants my attention. She looks up, and with a howling motion, gives me a Whoo Whoo Whoo! She has fallen asleep with her head on the mail basket many a day, patiently waiting in hopes of getting a mail carrier’s finger tip as a souvenir. The mail slot is just above the basket. It doesn’t even phase our mailman anymore, he knows she will be on the receiving end. Madison was diagnosed with stage 1 kidney disease in Sept of this year. Early last week she took a sudden turn for the worse and I’m told that she’s having an acute Kidney failure episode that evidently is common with kidney disease no matter what stage it’s in! She was admitted to Webster Grove Animal hospital on 12-26. Kidney counts moving in right direction but still won’t eat on her own. I have had very little work this year, as the company I work for is extremely slow right now. I also had 2 major unexpected house repairs hit me this Spring. One water, the other fire. Repairs surpassing $10,000. Then Madison’s medical bills up until this point.

Georgie

Georgie is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair who needs $1,971 for hospital stay.

Georgie is a 3 year old cat, we adopted her from Open Door. She’s been with us for about a week now. She currently resides with her sister Armanie and her cousin Cream. We didn’t get to pick out her name fully. But her official name is Georgia. She’s a lap cat who loves to cuddle and lvoe on you.. She loves to sleep most of the day. She’ll lay on the chair or a basket in the closet. She doesn’t really meow too much except for when she is hungry. Her favorite things to do are climb, nap, and be cuddled up close to you in bed. Sometimes she’ll even sit next to her sister Armanie. She is such a sweet cat. Georgie’s favorite friend/sister is Armanie. She is warming up to her cousin Creamsicle. She loves to cuddle on my chest or my side as I’m sleeping. She meows for attention. She warms my heart in the morning and all day. Especially after a long stressful day. I love her so much. Armanie is her favorite sister. Right now, Georgie has a fever and is dehydrated. She got admitted to the hospital this afternoon after some routine blood work and x rays. We don’t know what the cause of this is yet. It could be a variety of things. But she’ll be in the hospital for two days. Prayers over her for now. Hope things don’t get worse. Right now, it’s Jsut a matter of unexpected expenses. Her getting healthier would mean everything to me. I could only afford about half of the bill. I hope she gets better here soon.

Boogie

Boogie is a Mackerel Tabby kitten in Overland, MO, who needs $525 for a Cardiac Ultrasound.

We weren’t looking for third cat, but it was hard not to instantly fall in love with this little guy! We named him “Boogie” because his energy and the way he pounces makes him look like he’s dancing around the house. He has an adorable little mark on his nose that looks vaguely booger-like. We have had boogie for about 1 month now and we believe he is 3-4 months old. We have two other cats that Boogie loves to play with and wrestle, but they all get along better when they’re feeling sleepy. Boogie loves to jump out from a hiding spot and surprise his brother and sister or pounce on them from above. Boogie loves humans, and purrs loud enough to be heard across the room when his owners lay a finger on him or even come close to him. I am a full-time graduate student, and my boyfriend works full time at a restaurant. Unfortunately, no one in our household has received their COVID-19 stimulus check, despite filing taxes, so any support is greatly appreciated! Vet staff ran into problems prior to neutering surgery. First, they could only feel one testicle, which would require additional abdominal surgery. They also found a heart murmur (rated 4/6) that could cause complications with anesthesia. Cardiac diagnostics are necessary to make further decisions about his health. His vets are Dr. Todd Thomas and Dr. David Burgener at Webster Groves Animal Hospital. Boogie loves playing with plastic grocery bags because of the crinkly sound they make when he pounces on them. He also likes getting inside the bags and just sitting there. He often sleeps in funny positions too, and he especially likes sleeping with something against his back. Perhaps his favorite place to sleep is against the back of a person sleeping on their side.
